One of the mages laugh up towards the elites. "It's all going to come down in a hail of fire..." They say before dying. The red dot in the sky becomes bigger, a visible trail behind it. Even as some of them die, soldiers come out to defend them, at least to make sure they complete it.

Off in the distance, the man looks up at the bolt of lightning. The archers who hadn't been killed by the lightning looked to Sekain and took aim. The general shouted out. "Enemy mage! Take him out!" A volley of arrows fly off at Sekain like rain.

"I know you're out here, Matachi. With a big battle like this, I know you wouldn't miss the opportunity. After all, we did train together." He laughed as he called out, still enjoying himself as he killed people left and right.

"Katherine wait," he called before diving after her in order to protect her and himself from the volley as "if i go down their they will assume I am you yes? there fore the mages will focus on trying to kill me thinking I'm you, leaving your troops time to attack them while I focus on the mages, if you wish to kill the general yourself, at least wait until i have depleted most of if not all of the mages. For you're own protection" he said as he looked into her eyes, he was asking her as a brother, not a noble or her enemy.

Jorden cut through several nearby Archors, he looked behind him and his men where still close on his heels and that was good it would made it easier to get to the enemy commander with more men behind him.

Matachi leaps out from the building just as the couple of forest archers behind him get pelleted with arrows, only wounding not killing them. In mid air he pulls out the two short swords. He peaks his air time just above the general that had shouted "HERE I AM." He shouts falling down towards him with the sidiion eye pouring itself into his good eye.

The General turned to watch Matachi coming with his elites. There was a big grin on his face as it happened. He hefted his weapon to his shoulder and walked towards them. "Glad of you to join the fray, Matachi." He laughed, the man was clearly older, but he did know Matachi. "You remember your good old buddy Arem, don't you? Oh, I forgot. When we were in the forest that day, you left me to die. Don't worry old pal, I won't leave you to die. I'll make sure it's quick and painless." He said, quickly moving to defend himself from the oncoming attack.

As the ritual completed, all the mages who weren't dead fell over, their purpose completed. The object came within clear view, it was a giant... METEOR! Alastor looked up to the sky and sighed. "s**t, what am I going to do? Surely Katherine and the others have seen it by now."

A lare crackle of lightning struck the ground aside Matachi as Sekain appeared tall and proud, energy radiating from her person, "Good day," he smiled at them both as he winked at Matachi letting him know he was there for support. He clapped his hands together and a chain of fire tore through the field aimed at one of the remaining mages.

Jorden cut down one of the few remaining mages and he could finally see the enemy commander but it seemed Matachi had him covered. Jorden dodge a swing of a sword from a nearby soldier, he stabs the man in the gut and moves ever closer to the commander.
