Thank you for not making the Hitmonlee the level 7. @_@ I didn't think it was a battle you could win if he was. He is almost equal to the Zubat with a 3 level differences. So, I figured it might be better if it wasn't such an impossible fight.

As I am currently paying my debt to everyone for letting red's starter survive. So one effortless capture here, a battle that could have been impossible diverted. Victoria not leaving Jasmine a broken mess in her wake (completely out of character for her) and finally ....well, I haven't had a chance to do something nice for Tsuki yet.

Where'd that happen? As for the Red bit...was ANYONE really going to argue against whatever applicable plot device you could devise in such a scenario? REALLY? Especially when it's a starter!

Check out beginner island, and starters shouldn't be safe from death. Also no problem Red, I would hate to lose Aella like that.

They shouldn't and they aren't. That does not mean however that we can't take every step available to avoid it when and where applicable. Really the only reason the Ash thing worked here is because it's a Fire-Type...that seems to be a member of a group of Pokemon strangely working together...

Yup, and the pokemon she battle happen to be Jolly. Which meant it wasn't aim to harm anyone anyway. Really lucky, since i don't use Jolly all that much.

The same can be said for Naive or Gentle. I have great tendency towards Quirky, Naughty, or Serious however.

Sassy, Naughty, Brave and Adamant tend to be where I love to roam.
Though I do try to throw in Rash, Hardy, and Quirky every once in a while.

Ah Sassy I'd forgotten about that one. I do tend to use that as well. I'd use Adamant more, but more often then not a different personality trait tends to be preferable.
I also have a tendency to use Bold rather then Brave.
Though this reminds me of something that occured to me earlier. Students fighting in battle don't gain EXP; so if a student fights in a Double Battle with his Pokemon, does all the EXP go to that one Pokemon OR is it still 1/2 like it would be if there were two actual Pokemon present?

o.O Now that IS a brain scratcher...
I'd think it would still be split then, since the traner got involved it wasn't just them that won the fight
What if we COULD give trainers EXP though?
