Hinote: ...that doesn't sound like a pleasant experience to go through...explosive kunai launchers? It would have been much better if she had produced some sort of poison gas...and if you don't reach the antidote within five posts, you die. And each post would be a battle against something ridiculously epic.

Well, all she really did was claim a maze appeared out of nowhere, give me a list of die rolling results, and send me in. I got bored about halfway through cause it was a really lame test, and started rolling multiples to try and get lots of stuff going on, but it just kept rolling explosives.

I would love to do one with battles against horrifically epic monsters now, but I'm also about 95 times better at RP than I was when that happened. Misa wasn't really good enough to run something like that either. Technically she still isn't. It's kind of scary seeing all the genin rapidly improving in skill, while the kage only seems to decline.

Ehh, dont be greedy. I already gave you cloverfield, to top that I'm gonna have to use king kong or something

Mistah and I are actually (Very slowly) working on a guild that will start out with giant monsters all over the place, attacking cities and s**t. It's gonna be pretty epic. Hopefully. If we ever actually finish it up. If not, I might just grab some of the pictures I found for it and drag them over here for use with my epic NPCs.

I have a question about learning jutsus that I would like to clarify. It's about the posts.

Now, an A ranked jutsu requires 12 posts in order to be learned. So that's 12 attempts at learning it and writing out over and over again how I try a jutsu and it blows up in my face.

My question is, can I just write one post with a total of 60 sentences in the post that shows that I attempted the jutsu, know how to do it, and master it? Why sixty? Cause five sentences for each post...it equals sixty...

You can regard a post as a paragraph, with a 12 paragraph post for learning and explaining the mechanics of the jutsu, not just having it blow up in your face. Each paragraph is 4-5 lines.

Exhibit A (17 Lines)

Robin decided that it was time to actually focus on her fire element. Taking out a scroll, she decided to start on basics. The only academy jutsu that caught her attention was the fire release shuriken technique. This jutsu would allow her to exhale flames from her mouth in order to ignite a shuriken. It seemed easy enough, therefore she decided to learn this one first. (1/3)

Robin took out a kunai to practice on. She twirled it in her fingers as she remembered the seals that go with the jutsu. Clutching onto the kunai tightly, Robin released the kunai. The kunai sailed through the air as she took a deep breath. Performing the proper seals, Robin exhaled from her mouth. Unfortunately, the only thing she got was just a puff of smoke. (2/3)

This time, Robin made sure to gather enough chakra into the skill. That may have been her problem, that she hadn't gathered enough chakra. Grabbing yet another kunai, Robin launched her kunai forward. The kunai sailed through the air as she took a deep breath. Performing the proper seals, Robin supplied plenty of chakra in order to get it right this time around. A small flame shot out and ignited her projectile as it pierced a tree. (3/3)

Exhibit B (16 lines)

The fact of the matter was, how was Robin supposed to be a great saanin if all she knew was genjutsu and medical jutsu? Sighing at her own incompetence, Robin had decided that it was time to go back to the basics. She had been pondering for a while on what she should start on first, but she kept going back to Katon Ninjutsu. The Katon element would supply her with a vast number of offensive ninjutsu skills that could help her should she ever get into a fight in which genjutsu was not an option. Arriving at the training grounds, she began reading over the scrolls of academy leveled Katon jutsus. If they can do it, then someone as talented as her should have no problem performing the jutsu. Reading over the skills, she decided to try out the Katon Shuriken no Jutsu. According to the jutsu, she needed to not only coat the metal of a shuriken or kunai with chakra, but with her flames as well. Robin removed one of the kunais from her pouch, twirling it in her fingers as she held it up to her. Clutching unto it, she eyed it carefully, inspecting it as if trying to find something wrong with it. After several seconds, Robin shrugged her shoulders and began channeling her chakra unto the kunai. Finally satisfied, Robin picked her target, a tree that was at a distance of fifty yards away, shouldn't be too difficult to hit her mark. Robin took a deep breath as she spun her body around, the kunai in her hand cutting through the air as she came around full circle. Releasing the kunai, she quickly formed the seals required to perform the jutsu, ending with the Tiger seal. The chakra inside of her began surging upwards through her throat she exhaled a small flame, her target was the kunai. The flames hit the kunai, and as it did so, the chakra that was embeded in the metal was set aflame. The kunai continued traveling through the air as it pierced the tree trunk, the tree starting to catch on fire as Robin grinned proudly.

Katon: Shuriken no Jutsu (Fire Release: Shuriken Technique)
Description: A relatively basic katon, this one uses chakra to coat a metal shuriken or a kunai with fire. It is done so that the user first throws the shuriken, then exhales from his or her mouth a small flame that ignites the chakra-coated projectile. If the attack succeeds, not only will your opponent be hurt by the shuriken or kunai, but he will also suffer from burns.
Note: Only one projectile at a time.

(I hated writing Exhibit A...it took me longer to write that than it did B. Which is why I'm asking if posting in Exhibit B's format was okay? It's the required amount of sentences needed...it shows a good, flowing, roleplay and it shows that I know how to do the jutsu. Exhibit A just looks choppy and...ick...granted if this is not good, then I'll simply go to Exhibit A, though they may be horrid)

Well, for a long jutsu like a jounin rank, block text (Exhibit B) becomes quite annoying to read, as people continually read the same lines over and over. However if you want to make bigger paragraphs, that would be fine. Instead of 12 short paragraphs, why not 4 long ones. As for shorter jutsus, if you prefer block text, that is fine.

XP yeah, block text for a 60 line post would kill me too. But yeah, I guess that would have been a better way of asking, writing four long paragraphs rather than twelve short ones, but at least we got it clarified. Thanks Greg.

Oh...and I believe it's your post

*Eye twitches...*

So many jutsus....

Gregar, are you saying that as a Saanin I can't just teach myself jutsus, or that I wouldn't just have a scroll to my own main element?

I guess I can just delete the posts...go to the library...and post them again...or simply delete them and not learn anything and simply just stay a weak saanin

You COULD save your current posts in a word document, run to the library, get a scroll, then post all of these at once in the next post.

I've suddenly just lost the urge to roleplay right now. I guess I'll post that later today, or tomorow, or Tuesday. I don't know when, but have a good night and I'll post...at some point

stare There is a scroll house within the village. Only the Mizukage and a jounin can enter to get scrolls. It will be amended that the new sannin can do so as well. Also, as a sannin who travels as much as a hunter-nin, I would assume she has her own scrolls gregar. Let's not make this that ridiculous for her to learn her main element.
