A smile. "I know but I can at least think I can lock you in and you'd just prove me wrong. But...I'm just not in the mood to fight a guy today." Though she gave him a nod and another smile. "Woman with kids, you know...that sounds about right. Since when do you know so much about dating James Moira?"

But a shake of her head and a soft chuckle. "I would rather him spit in my coffee every morning than to our right tease me about everything under the sun. Especially something that has the whole Fleet talking. And knowing Erik he was in the main security bank on Radiance, following us on camera the whole time.

"Ah yes, the talk of men. Like girl talk only more focused on the female species and the like." But she had to of course make a joke. "Well I can assure you James, my children can really take care of themselves mostly, and they don't go to school. One may get sick or every once and a while, but that's about it."

"New James, I'm not considered your private affair really now am I? Erik has this creepy way of knowing things anyway, so we can't pull a game in front of him." With a nod of her head she sat on the edge of her bed beside him after moving some disks of course, mostly records of her dreams. "So, tell me. You talk of how other men like to go about their relationship, but how about you?"

She nodded, with a smile before brushing a few strands of annoying dirty blond hair from her face. "The old, 'get him laid and he'll lay off of us' ploy. My techs tried that once on me. Needless to say they got what was coming to them and weren't happy people." But she nodded again. "What you do is not so very from what I or any other person with a scientific background does. Watch, observe, learn."

Jelena did give a laugh though. "Yes because drooling and fawning and smothering the one you are attracted to it of course the perfect way to go about such things as affection. For animals,maybe. But I would highly be upset if I was being paid attention to like that. Makes me paranoid." Then a smile. "And see, you've had your share of flings too, I knew it."

"You know how the young things are. They won't actively go after what they want but more or less either stare and stay silent or try to entice, so they don't look bad. Besides, your age may of thrown them off. You look younger than you are to a point."

Another nod from her as she idly poked at some disks on her bed before pushing them aside, seeing as they had slid back over some when she sat down on the bed. "They always think that's the way to calm down the hard assed one that issues commands and expects to get things before they need to be. They highly underestimate things most of the time."

"Not really, and yes of course you have that nice a**. From scientific standpoints you are quite the young man James." Though she nodded again in usual Jelena fashion when holding conversation. Then a look at the hand that was patting on hers before she looked back to him. "Or we are psychotic, don't forget that one. They love to use that one."

A laugh from her then that look of consideration. "Trick Erik? Erik doesn't get tricked. It's either real or her knows it's not. And I wasn't planning on tricking him...just putting him on feeding duty for all the big Echoes who are also on active feeding schedules at the moment. And he'll keep on it until he getrs the message." Oh evil Doctor Trevale.

First a laugh. "Not to mention I've seen your underwear as well. And you in them." Then a shrug. "Suggesting a trial run there James? Hm, sounds quite intriguing...and who knows what benefits could come out of that research." Scientist talking like a scientist. The possibilities were in fact quite intriguing. How long had it been since she had involved herself with a man besides the usual closeness of Erik? Couldn't recall, over six months now.

But then she returned over to her computer as that ever annoying noise sounded that she had a new email and that is wasn't junk nor hate mail. "I actually sent her a message about that just a while ago when we first came here. And she's gotten back to us rather quickly." And she went quiet as she usually did when reading information. "She says she has a few open slots through out the next two weeks, mostly, evening sessions."

"Right, I'll make sure to clear my time out some night. Or you can simply come down here and drag me off to my appointment much like you do the ones in Metamorphosis." She crossed her legs as and sent a reply back in confirmation and then turned from her computer again.

Attention back on James. "Oh that's because you hate the things that Catalyst does...while you are sleeping." An evil edge to her voice as she said that. "You think you can handle me and my ways James?"
