Rae shook her head. "Not necessarily a bad past. I know Sahari has adoptive parents, so it can't just be that. But there's also loneliness, and just a feeling of being incomplete." Rar remembered the several nights she spent running, alone in her plight and unhappy. "I guess I can relate to all three of those in a way."

Kinovu raced after Akuma, put he skitted to a halt snow flew around and he sniffed the air, he had lost her scent he looked around before bounding in a random direction hoping it was the right way.

Loki heard Kinovu heading towards them. Perhaps now was not the best time for apologies. He got up, walking out to find Chaus. He was sure she would want to yell at him anyways.

Ryari walked away from Shou, not looking back, she wondered if they even noticed she was gone. She walked for a while and soon the lake was in full view.

Loki looked up and saw Ryari headed towards them. He smiled softly in her direction, inwardly glad she had missed his fight with Akuma.

Rae sighed in relief, spotting the lake nearby. Gods, she was glad to finally be back, what with all the stumbling and the struggling. She was glad to be back home.

Rina had been paying close attention to how they had gotten to the tribe lands, and had been carefully observing everything that they passed. While the place was beautiful, she did not find it any more beautiful than the forest which they had come from. Perhaps it would take time for her to feel this call? Or perhaps she was not destined to join this tribe. She suspected the latter. She rather enjoyed being an independent modifox, and did not think she was quite ready to give up that freedom just yet.

Rae took note of Rina's reactions, and decided her earlier notion had been correct. Oh well, the call was not for everyone. She set her end of the leaf down by the lake shore, looking at the other members around.

Loki heard rustling behind him, and realized it must be Masao. He grinned; his friend had found the tribe. He wondered vaguely if Masao would join, but pushed the thought away. That wasn't important at the moment. He walked over to him. "Welcome to the Kousestu lands, Masao."

Masao gave Loki a smile, shaking a paw to dust some snow off of it. He hadn't actually been around the snow before, and he still had a few hints of snow on him from a small romp through it he had allowed himself. "Thanks. It actually really pretty here...a bit cold, but I guess that's what you should expect.".

Loki grinned and nodded. "It can take time to get used to the cold." He looked out over his tribe members, smiling. All was well for now. "I'd introduce you, but most of the tribe either isn't around or is lost in thought. Perhaps later."

"That's alright. Maybe you could just show me around for now," Masao said with a nod of his head. He wouldn't mind meeting some of the other tribe members, make a few more friends, but right then he would be fine with just exploring a little.
