RinoaHeartilly You know you're a band geek when you hang out in the band room before school starts. then i am definetly a band nerd. (no suprise) i spend most of my time in the band hall. im there for 30 minutes in the morning before school even starts, add 50 minutes for the actual band period (1st pd.) then 15 minutes because i get out of second period to go practice, then 20 because i get out of 4th period to go play my instrument, then i eat lunch in the band hall which is another 40 minutes, then i get out of 6th period to go play my instrument, and then i go to the band hall after school and help my band director teach the sixth graders. i am VERY dedicated to band.

You know you're a band geek when you have a nightmare about leaving your oboe reed soaking in its water and it disolves.
I know that can't really happen, but I still had that bloody nightmare and woke up in a panic.

You know you're a band nerd when you hear a song from last summers marching program while walking around Kings Dominion with your friends and immediately start marching your drill in step with them.

Hopefully this hasn't been taken...You know you're a band nerd when you start to conduct the orchestras playing on the radio. Or, even when there isn't any music, you just conduct throughout the day, when you're walking or when you're outside chilling. Believe me, after I got to be Field Commander in eighth grade for the Christmas parades this is what I do all the time. Though I don't do it at school.....Then the band nerd starts to practice snapping as they conduct just like the band director....Also I have been starting to do this too. *sigh*

Jennifer Elric You know your a band nerd when: 1. You refer to your instrument as a person 2. You have a war over which instrument is the best 3. Most of your friends are in band 4. Your favorite type of music is band music 5. You have band dreams 6. Band is your favorite subject 7. You sing band music in your other classes Band is my favorite subject... Most of my friends ARE in band... I haven't had a war over the best instrument but I think that I have heard people argue about "the best" instrument... I do like classical music, but I also like the jazzy twist concert band adds to Phantom of the Opera...
