Asi's eyes narrowed a little. He needed a swift swipe to the head, he shouldn't be talking like that. He already knew his plan had failed, Denahi did not want to talk. Maybe a different approach?

He snorted and raised a brow at him, moving past the rock all of a sudden. He was headed toward the herds. He'd hunt then, and if Denahi did not want to be ignored he'd follow. Hopefully.

"HEY! Don't you walk away from me," He gave a cubbish snarled. Don't you just hate when that happens? You want to be left alone, but then when you are, it sucks. So now to get attention! "What? To scared to talk to your /own/ son?" He smirked. He sat down, allowing the grass to override the small form.

Asi snorted. "Aye, scared o' bein' bullied." He called, over his shoulder. Because that was what Denahi was, a bully. "Though yew wan'ed ter be alone? Yew be doin' a pre'y good job ge'in thurr." He said, then continued stalking foward. What he ment was that Denahi would end up completely alone if he kept acting this way.

Denahi glared at Asi. "Heh." His two fore paws came together, in a small clap. "I must admit /father/" he sneered lightly, "you had me on my toes for a minute there." He didn't explain why. He didn't need to explain why. After all, he was Denahi. "Though, if you be scared of me, then that makes me stronger then you, no?" He grinned. His logic majorly sucked.

"I never said I wanted to be alone," He muttered. "And I am not alone am I? You are here, and if you aren't, I'll always go find that Copper again. He was fun to be around." Fun was a understatement. He was good to toy with.

Asi payed him no mind, or tried not to. How could one so little think things like these? His tail flicked and he was traveling further away. He eyed the gazelle up ahead and licked his lips. Hunting, though he disliked it, was good for getting out anger and stuff.

This had not gone well at all. He wanted to shout and tell Denahi how damn wrong he was, but he had a feeling it would not work. He was not stronger, he was a cub. He was weak, in every way that there was. He was weak minded for thinking such things and weak bodied for picking on cubs who were afraid of him. Let him try and attack something not afraid of him, he would find it'd be a lot harder.

Denahi growled lightly. Why was Asi ignoring him?! Damnit! Scrounging up to his feet, he chased after his father. Maybe the movement would scare off the gazelles the adult lion was hunting? He shrugged as he loped, attacking the Asi's tail. "Don't walk away from me when I am talking to you," He hissed, not caring how he was talking to his father.

Asi almost smiled to himself, almost. He flicked his tail a little. Well he found what really drove Denahi, attention and lack there of. "Would yew keep it down a bi'? I be tryin' ta 'unt." He muttered quietly, as if Denahi wasn't of any importance. Maybe he could find out what was going on in Denahi's head.

"Nope," Denahi said cheekily, continuing to growl and snarl at his father. "You don't deserve to hunt here," the charcoal male said defensively, swiping a clawed paw at his father's back leg. Asi wasn't being fun at the moment. "Or...You know what? You stay here, I'll go give Tamu a visit." He smirked, that probably would get to his father. With a pivot, he headed back towards the waterhole, where Ari and Tamu layed.

Now his temper was starting to come. He didn't deserve to hunt here? He snarled slightly. "Aye, yew go do tha'. Be' yew be wan'in ter see ari too." He hissed, glancing behind him. He hoped Ari was still there. Why wouldn't she be? He would not let Denahi get to him! He couldn't, this was the only way to deal with the cubs!

Denahi flicked his tail. "Nah, don't be wanting to see her." He stated, blue eyes picking over his dark shoulder before gazing forward again. "Though, one thing is for certain. She can't stay awake forever..." He left Asi to dangle on that subject. The charcoal male loped towards his 'home', spotting Ari and Tamu not to far away. Now, it was just the waiting game.

"..Be careful, Asi." She warned, not knowing what Denahi could be capable of anymore. She turned back to Tamu, "Are you hungry?" She asked him, cleaning his wounds once more.

Denahi was lying on a boulder, somewhat tall. He had a clear view of everything around him. The cub watched the herds of animals graze contently, some with young frolicking next to them. Pft, a disgusting sight, in this one's eyes. His vision faltered, glancing to Pride Rock in the distance. Maybe...he could just finish that quest he had started for it back awhile ago. Maybe he could complete it!

Hungry? At that moment Tamu really wasn't thinking of food, rather of what he would do if Denahi ever came back to taunt him again. Of course, he knew it would happen. It was just something that was inevitable really. Flicking an ear, he sighed then rolled over so she could clean the wounds on the other side of him. Water didn't exactly do the trick like a mother's tongue did.

"Hungry.. um.. a little," he admitted. Now that Ari had brought it up, he could feeling the hunger pains in and the growling of his stomach. But, right as he thought he might be calming down a little, he saw that his brother was coming back, probably to beat up on him.

Did the black cub really have no dignity, so much so that he would go and pick on someone who he absolutely had a great advantage over?

He was completely shocked. He'd stopped walking all together. Dammit how did one teach this kid a lesson? He suddenly turned, loping back toward Denahi and Ari. He growled and came up behind Denahi. "Well as much as I wan' yew ter be playin' with yer brother an' all I feel i' be yer duties as the oldest ta lern 'ow ta 'unt and stuff." He gave the little one a rather wicked grin. If he had to keep Denahi away a while then they could go on a hunting trip. Asi was much sure he could out do Denahi in trying to stay up, so he would not sneak off and stuff.

"An' this do no be optional, Denahi. I will bring yew, wether yew come nicely or I 'ave ter drag ya." He sneered slightly. I don't think Asi's attitude would help Denahi at all, really.

Ari cleaned the other side of the brown cub, an occasional ear flick every now and then as rustles could be heard. Her blue eyes casted off towards the distance, Asi's and Denahi's scent heavy in the air. "What would you like? We can go it anything you want," She told him, nuzzling Tamu affectionately.

"Heh, I don't need to learn to hunt and stuff," He said to Asi, ears flattening against the charcoal head. He turned his head to glance at the mocha lion, before gazing at the other two. "And I do think it be optional. 'Cause I ain't going." He said flatly, tail flicking.

"Like 'ell yew do no be!" He hissed, dodging forward in attempting to get Denahi by the scruff of the neck. This little cub needed to be taugh some.. the thought died out when he realized exactly what he was thinking.

Needs to be taught manners? Just like you old man. Heh, it was amusing that one became an 'old man' once having cubs. He remembered his 'lesson' for manners. It was being thrown into some water and cleaned by some old doofus. And he'd hated every bit of it. But he hadn't been as bad as Denahi.. had he? He loved to pick on others, not just weaker than him though. And he didn't ever fight others.. well.. Amari once but that was his first, hopefully last fight. And Bakhti had attacked him once.. but he'd done nothing to her. So that didn't really count either.

He would not let Denahi ruin this family!

A little squeak emerged from the charcoal male's throat. It was soon overcomed by a series of small growls, snarls and swipes towards Asi. "Lemme go" He hissed, wriggling around by the scruff of his neck. "Put me down!" The lion cub twisted himself, throwing his head back to bash on his father's maw, or something to get him to drop him.
