in depth version well turns out that curtis has a history with the terrorist turned good guy. ther terroris had captured some of curtis' men and beheaded them him self. the terrorist gets a pardon from president palmer and curtis grabs him and holds a gun to his head. Jack tells him to put the gun down and curtis says he can't let the terrorist live so Jack is left no choice but to shoot curtis. the bullet hits curtis in the neck killing him quickly. Jack then runs off puking and crying.
after that the team going after the nuke arrives at the nukes location. the president and others watch on a live video feed as the men take out the people around the nuke. nearly all the terrorist are dead when one rises from the ground and flicks the swtich on the detonator. The president and those around him watch in horror as the screen goes white and the watch the msuhroom cloud on sattelite. then it flashes back to jack as the flash is fading away and he turns aroudn to see the cloud.

People keep saying that it's gotten better, that the show isn't so bad now, so I tried watching The Batman again. And as far as I'm concerned, the people who have said it's better now are all on crack. I can see very little that's improved. The only redeaming feature I can find is Batgirl. The pacing is bad, the storytelling is bad and the dialogue is awful. The music doesn't help the storytelling any nd in some cases makes things even less dramatic than they already are. The action is still good, the design is still good...for the most part. The color choices are excellent. But someone inject a decent writer and some good storyboard artists into this thing. Baring that, just rename it The Batgirl, since that seems to be the only character they know how to develop.

Dittoes, my friend, dittoes. whee heart Del Toro always has such good 'creatures'. The fairy-bugs were both awesome and a little creepy. I love how foreboding all the fairy elements seemed.

So, what is the deal with them showing the same two Legion of Super heroes cartoons over and over and over. Seems like the only two they ever show are the pilot and the one with them battling their nightmares. confused

Baring that, just rename it The Batgirl, since that seems to be the only character they know how to develop. You're right...The story is awful. Some of the pencil tests and original character designs were nice, when they were previewing it online, but it's only gotten worse. As per the color, I'd have to disagree with you...it's not dark enough. The show on a whole feels like an animated version of a chapter book of Batman made for fourth graders. The kind with 20 size font and the occassional illustration to help keep a kids attention as opposed to it being held purely through good story telling. And as per the action sequences and overall styling...considering most of the creative force behind THE BATMAN is carried over from the JC Group (Jackie Chan's animation production company) I expeceted much better.
