As an unfamiliar voice called out to the seemingly vacant garden. A new face, at least what little of it was visible. The new arrival seemed intent to conceal much of her appearance. Her, yes, the voice was undoubtedly female as it beckoned,

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

A robed figure stirred from it's resting place where it had been keeping watch over the front garden. Anyone entering through the main gates would pass under his watchful eye. Was anyone there? At the Dark Sakura, there was always someone... something.

A tenor voice answered the call, as a man about 5ft 11'' in height, medium in build and well muscled, clad in the garb of a Guild Guardsman stepped out from a small grouping of trees just off the path to the woman's right.

"Is there anything I can assist you with m'lady?"

If she was carrying any bundles and possessions with her, he would gesture at them, an offer to carry them for her, as any gentleman would.

His sky blue eyes and downy platinum hair, offset by his smooth tanned skin gave him a sort of exotic look. Like he was descended from two bloodlines that were strange to have coupled, resulting in such a contrast of physical features.

She would look up to the gaurd as he addressed her. She was almost startled by having run into anyone at all. The woman would reach up, her hands free of any possessions, and run her fingers across her face, revealing one of her lusterous, crimson eyes before letting her hair fall over her face once more.

"Kind sir... I am new here and I am unfirmiliar with these grounds. I would like to know where I should go... Or could you direct me to the person who owns this place? I do not wish to cause any inconveniences though..."

She would sigh, lowering her head a bit. She seemed detered by even asking him such simple questions.

HonoRaven
"I just have this feeling... I'm not really sure it has anything to do with Reiyvian." sweatdrop She tapped a ruby and onyx nail against her bottom lip as she tried to figure out why the bottom of her stomach suddenly had that feeling that she usualy associated with 'run now, before you get into more trouble!' xp

Rave took a deep breath and let it out slowly as she tried to push the strange feeling aside, normaly trepidation was reserved for after she was already knee deep in alligators, and well aware of how bad things really were.
These were people who were trying to fight against Ra'Kar and Victor. Anyone against Victor was someone Hono was more than willing to assist...She pulled up her mental shields instead, pulling the long blue satin gloves that matched the dress out of her claudical space she smiled like she didn't have a care in the world and pulled the gloves on. A mental reminder to mind her manners today and not hurt anyone that she didn't have to... "Sorry, likely just jittery, it has been an exciting day... Hurt Sun, kill a compleet stranger, feel compelled to watch over Silver, get sent to Bable again... sweatdrop All things that are inductive to putting a person's nerves on the edge!"

Durranis smiled gently at Hono and nodded in understanding.

"If you would like to rest a spell before your audience with Reiyvian, I won't object. You've had a very trying day m'lady, and I'm sure you're verily worn out."

It wasn't unusual for new arrivals to the Dark Sakura to be tense or 'jittery' as the lady had so worded it, the sorts of people who sought refuge within the guild's walls came from all walks of life, and sadly... too few of them were pleasant. Most had undergone great hardships and traumas.

He bowed toward her respectfully before approaching her more closely. Joining her on the stone pathway and stopping a only a couple of feet from her, he smiled politely.

"You can call me Frost m'lady."

He gestured north to a fork in the pathway,

"You want to take the left path, it will lead you to the dormitories. I assume you've received your acceptance?"

He pause briefly for confirmation of this before continuing,

"The guild staff will have been notified and they'll have a room waiting for you. You just need to sign in and pick up the key."

Raising his arm, there was a whirring of wings and a falcon landed gracefully, perching upon it's master's forearm and ruffling it's feathers. Frost would scritch the magnificent bird under the beak affectionately before returning his attentions to the lady before him.

"Lady Ethelstan isn't here right now, she's taking care of some business abroad at the moment. But the attendants at the dormitories will see you settled. If you like, I will escort you?"

She would smile and bow to him. "Thankyou so much Frost for all your help. I greatly appreciate all you have done for me tonight." She would look up and, after another bow, would make her way down the stone path in the direction given to her to follow.

The woman would sigh to herself. "Lady Ethelstan, huh? I suppose I would have to wait for her to be finished with all her businness... After all, I wouldnt want to be any trouble..."

She would continue down the path until she reached the dormitories. She would walk up to the doors and pass her fingers along the hard surface, contemplating them for a moment as she considered whether or not she should disturb those within.

Frost smiled, shook his head and shrugged nonchalantly.

"No thanks needed m'lady, after all... it's my job."

He grinned at her in good nature and watched as she left, making her way down the path in the evening dusk. The staff at the dorms would receive her well and see her settled. He found himself slightly disappointed that his offer of an escort had been silently declined. Sometimes guard work could be rather lonesome, didn't do much to improve ones social life any road... but it was better that he stayed. Things were rather hectic lately, and all the higher ups seemed on edge. There were rumours amidst the ranks that the Guild's Mistress was actually in some kind of peril and that nobody actually knew where she was... But rumours couldn't be trusted so Frost didn't really pay them any heed.

Making his way back to the small grouping of trees he stroked the falcon's feathers thoughtfully.

"What do you think Featherwind? Is the Lady in trouble?"

Featherwind lilted her head to the side and shrieked her response. A falcon cry was a thing of beauty, but it was an odd sort of beauty, the kind one becomes accustomed to. Fierce and shrill.

Frost sighed and shook his head, causing the braid that trailed down his back to dance slightly.

"I don't know either."

"Sierra is away from the guild right now, but I'll page Natalie for you. Also, if you'll be staying a while, your room is still as you left it, Mrs. Decker."

The persocom typed in a pager number, along with a location number and not even 5 minutes later, Natalie, the little blond haired, blue-eyed bundle of energy, bounded into the Dormitories, flying-huggle-glomping Fae.

"Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaae-saaaaamma!"

She beamed up at her bright eyed.

"You came back!"

And Fae almost fell as she was glomped, unsure about how to handle the situation. All of her children had been fairly reserved, the only one who had tackled her usually sometimes Tellus when she was excited. But she managed, neither one falling, even if she had to lean against the desk to do so.

She looked at the girl curiously, her lips forming a small moue. "You didn't think I would. Then I wouldn't get to see you." She smiled then, a soft sad smile, but a genuine one. "I missed you too, Natalie. I decided to consider the offer a little more seriously."I'm going nuts at home, with nothing but the twins to occupy my time, and even then I don't get that since Dante is such a Mister Mom.

There was a sigh, as she looked at the girl and remembered the other reason why she was here. Tellus used to have hair so pale blue that it seemed whitish' blond in the right light. And now, she was gone...

Natalie seemed to be able to tell that something was wrong. There were worry lines on Fae's pretty face that hadn't been there the last time the little girl had seen her.

The blue haired child tugged on her sleeve gently and blinked wide eyes at her, shiny with their concern.

"Is something wrong Fae?"

The woman had gone inside and had locked herself inside her room. She would peer out the window, noticing Frost, and would immediately become down-hearted. She would shake her head and turn out the light in her room.

In the silence of the sactuary grounds, the soft liquidy sound of rippling shadows would echo out from behind Frost and Featherwind. The woman would slowly rise up almost silent except for the soft sound and the rustle of disturbed foilage. She would reach up and grab her opposite shoulder, her long, fair-skinned fingers gripping at the flesh beneath her robe.

"Sir...? Sorry to bother you, but it had been rude of me not to introduce myself when you had been so much of a help to me... My name is Rose..." She would whisper, waiting for him to turn and scold her for disturbing him unnecessarily.

A disturbance in a pool of shadows, rippling outward. Tiny hiccups in the fabric of darkness as they reached outwards and tickled Frost's senses. His arm raised, Featherwind took to the air and circled high above them. Frost himself turned about in a guarded stance to see who was emerging so suddenly. Seeing that it was the woman he'd just helped he smiled somewhat embarrassedly and dropped his guard, waving sheepishly at her.

She spoke so apologetically, like he would chide her for approaching him. That made his lips twinge in a slight frown before vanishing beind a smile.

"It is my honour to make your acquaintance Lady Rose."

Sitting down on the soft carpet of emerald grass that stretched beneath them, he patted the ground beside him and smiled up at her from his cross-legged position.

"Care to join me?"

She would nod. "Thankyou so much kind sir... I greatly appreciate your hospitality... I feel so welcome here." She smiles and sits down beside him, her eyes reflecting the fading light of the twilight hours.

Rose would let out a sigh as the silence began to set in. She was happy to finally have a moment to relax from the everyday pains she had to endure. Her soul ached and it showed in her beautiful eyes. All that could be seen of her face was her soft, lushous lips and those beautiful, pained eyes.

The woman's voice sounded young, but the eyes held weight which expressed an age and maturity beyond that of the physical self. The kind of age one gains through hardship.

"I'm glad you like it here. The Dark Sakura is an accepting home to those who otherwise have none, new faces are always welcome here."

She kept calling him kind sir, it made him chuckle.

"Might you call me Frost, if I may call you Rose?"

Frost leaned his head back against the tree's trunk and laughed softly as Featherwind landed on one of the tree's lower branches and perched, watching them almost jealously.

Rose would look to him and sigh. "Whatever you say sir. I will call you Frost as you wish." She would hum softly for a brief moment and would then return her gaze to the sky.
"Can you tell me anything about Dark Sakura, Frost? What is it like? What are the people like? And the leader... What about her...?"

Me, in the wrong place
Suddenly there would be a good bit of noise near the entrance, not devastating noise but rather get attention noise. If there was a gate loud kicks would be made in place of knocking, and no matter the presence of the gate there would be yelling.

"Hello!" It was a man's voice and rather horse, "We need some assistance! Is anyone around!"

That man did need some assistance as, ignoring the fact he looked like he was about to pass out from either blood loss or exhaustion, he had numerous injuries and was gritting his teeth through them all. You could still make out a good deal about the man from a distance, tussled muddy red hair, bizarrely squinty eyes, and an open blue coat over a thin darker-skinned frame.

The frightening thing was he wasn't the worse for wear out of the "we" he called out of behalf of.

Thrown over his shoulders in a supportive lift was a woman who quite frankly looked comatose, critically injured, or maybe even dead.

"Hello?"

Hono stopped for a moment, peering up at the sky for a moment as she absently chewed at the tip of her gloved finger...wondering if she did need a break, pondering if this place, and everything that had happened today, was getting to her....

Rave came up with a very simple answer... "Nope!" whee

She did use that moment to batten down her shields, and make certain that she wasn't reading or broadcasting empathically to anyone in the area, and managing to become curious about meeting Reiyvain instead of anxious. "I'm fine thanks..." Hono started after him once more, curious and more herself again.

Again with the 'sir'. That made him smile as he looked at her and nodded. He listened to her inquiries and grinned.

"I will tell you as much as I know Miss Rose."

Sitting up he gestured to the darkening gardens,

"The Dark Sakura isn't your average guild. It is a place of Sanctuary where many who're lost and misguided seek refuge. Most of the members here have undergone great hardships... the mixed races you find here... most are not widely accepted by the average humanoid. Vampires... demons... most of them were too much monster to be allowed to settle elsewhere, but here they are accepted as people.

Some are merely attracted to the Dark Sakura for her beauty and her mysteries. I'm sure you've felt it? A deeply rooted magick, older than you or I that breathes through everything here?"
