Coco sighed her fears weren't going to get solved right now. She was just one little demon, even if she went to Ava with her thoughts, would others look down on her if she said something? Coco looked around at those who were wounded. The teachers had said survivors so did that mean that some didn't survive?? If these beings had killed others there was likely no hope for them. Coco sighed she was lucky she guessed but why was this happening? Who thought that taking advantage of helpless stones had been a good idea in the first place. Coco sighed and then took out her paint brush from her pocket and started absently waving it about, as she let her thoughts wander.

Illya nodded. "Yeah," she said softly. "I used to be in the military--I retired a few years ago, but it's training that never leaves you." She was tempted to come out of retirement after all of this. It seemed that she might be needed again, and it's not like she was doing much with her civilian life...yes, it might be time to return.

She wanted to give the kid a hug, but she wasn't sure if he liked being touched or not. Instead she nodded. "That's okay," she said. "It's been a very stressful, and, I might add, frightening affair. Not being able to move--and being anxious about the safety of the people you love--is a natural response to this sort of thing. But it will end," she added. "This night might feel like it lasts forever, but it won't. It'll be over, and we can return to normal life." She made a note to herself to contact Kirket--his hands would be full for the next...eternity, actually, but she wanted to make sure that he knew to keep an eye on this kid.

Coco was pouting because the familiars were ignoring her. She really wanted a distraction from her dark thoughts and she couldn't get a break here.

He curiously watched those that had survived join with the rest of them. So many looked traumatized, and understandably so. Had all the others really been killed off? Or had they simply fled elsewhere for safety?

So distracted he was by this new information, his body going through the motions of following the crowd into the bunker, that he nearly missed Howl's question. The junior glanced back at her, wearing his usual easygoing grin, "Maybe. Could be someone different entirely." the possibility was there, and he wasn't one to ignore other options that could present themselves. "I guess all we can do is take care of what we can control." since they didn't know hardly anything that was going on, it was best to take care of those who were involved, since it was within their power to. More keeping people calm, and level headed. Easier said than done...

With his attention no longer caught up in his thoughts, it was then that he suddenly noticed a dryad had joined his company as well, making him stare at the stranger for a moment, before putting on a bigger grin, noting their familiars, "Nice to see someone brought their pals with them too." he complimented, his own little herd staring up at Kuni's.

Enomu squeezed his stuffed toys again when he was set down, only to find himself blinking up at Sathe in surprise at his words and then confusion when his hair was ruffled. This baphomet was successfully confusing him to a great degree. No one touched him, no one talked to him, no one cared about him. It would almost be enough to make him cry, except he made a rule not to cry in front of others--a rule he had already broken anyway, but he wasn't going to do it again! At least when the people eaters came and gobbled him up, he would die knowing someone cared about him.

"....Okay." He said uncertainly. "I'll....let you know." Was he being bad by starting to care what this stranger thought?
