Stumbling along the dirt road he didn't fele like stopping to smell the roses, instead he was really curious to see where the path lead. Up ahead there was a sign, a yellow ! sitting right on top of it. Thinking that was rather odd, he moved forward reaching out aalllmost to touch it... when a voice out of no where filled the area. "Examine trees huh?" What an odd thing to do, but this was a game so... AblooFox moved towards his first tree, aiming for a smaller one to start with. That was around when he saw it had a mouth, and voted that even with tiny teeth he was not sticking his hand anywhere near it. "Guess what I'm hiding!" "Oh... Uhm." He wanted to reply 'teeth?', but thought that might be a little rude. What would a tree want to hide...? "Uuhhmm... a mouse?" Mouses lived in tree holes right? "I'm hiding something in my mouth!" Well that was a given... Only then did it stick out its Tongue, a fragment in place. "Is that for me?" The tree only just smiled. Remi took it carefuly avoiding any teeth. Quote: 3: You reach a tiny tree and it looks up at you and only has a row of smiling teeth. "Guess what I'm hiding!" If you cater to it then it tells you "I'm hiding something in my mouth!" It sticks out its mouth and lo and behind it is a fragment! +1 Fragment. If you don't guess the tree looks disappointed. "Oh, okay..." It does not give you a fragment. OOC

Where.. where am I?The area she was in was starting to become less blurry. Am I still dreaming? Of course she was. She wasn't in her dorm room. This felt... different somehow. She was different too. Her dress was longer for one thing. And for another she had... claws? Well, as far as dreams went, this was not the strangest thing that had happened to her. Hello? She asked the eyes in one of the trees in case they were sentient, but they just blinked and disappeared from view.
I'm in a game. Millie realized. That's why this is strange and not quite a dream. The exclamation over the signpost seemed a good enough place to start. Millie had not played one of these before but she did enjoy watching her brothers play when she was younger. "I am the wayfinder"Looking at trees? Okay! Millie was thrilled that her first quest was looking at trees. Her older brother broke a keyboard once because he was asked to go get 20 animal teeth and after killing hundreds of them, only a few teeth had dropped. They both were banned from the computer after that... "Let's see now...." Millie looked around the colorful and noisy forest. It made her dizzy. First tree being a huge success, and all of his fingers still attached, he moved onto the next tree. Really he probably should have chosen a less noisy tree... but he was a curious kitsune at heart, and hated the sound of anyone crying. Moving towards a tree that looked to be in its later years, he asked what was wrong. "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"His first reply was bitten back, something about trees needing glasses.... but hey who was he to judge? "Sure, ill see if i can find them." Twisting around he took this as another mini quest within the quest, and did a rather large sweep of the area. Trees cant exactly move (could they?) So the glasses couldn't be too far. Thankfully his luck paid out, and he was able to find the glasses with little trouble. Once he returned them though, he was grateful for the fragment (Woo!), but not so great about the hug it gave him. Seriously one of the broken twigs jabbed him on his bu- Quote: 4: You reach a broken tree and it is sobbing. "I'm so very sad", says the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?" If you don't help it out it gives you nothing and continues to sob. If you help it out, search around the tree for glasses! Roll 1d4. If you roll a 4 you succeed in finding its glasses. It is super excited as you hand it back. "Thank you, oh my goodness, thank you indeed. Here, have this." It gives you a fragment and insists on giving you a hug, but the hug is very prickly and not very nice at all. +1 Fragment. OOC

Searching among the trees was difficult, at least in the way of finding the fragments the wayfinder had mentioned. Reaching a tree Gabriel Santiago moves around it only to be baffled when looking up to a set of teeth. Rubbing over her eyes the doormouse pauses and blinks at its words. "But wai-wait.." Gabriel Santiago sighed heavily before tucking her tail between her legs and moving on. Lost...she didn't want to be lost in her own dream.

His next choice looked like the tree equivalent of a giant hair monster in need to find a good shaver. He could barely see within the confines of the leaves, approaching closer to try and move so he could see better. Only the tree started to violently shave, spreading its leaves everywhere. Which would have been fine, if they didn't snap at him and cause him to yelp. He decided to try another tree...that one was rude. It shakes its head furiously, leaves rain down, and refuses you let you go any closer, batting you with its leaves. Ow! OOC

Upon wandering around a bit more she found a stump. Given teeth had just spoken to her she waited a few minutes before finding it safe to sit. Taking a small break Gabriel Santiago peered around watching the others of her dream as they moved about. It was a bit strange to see other people, ones she didn't recognize in her dream but they all seemed to be doing their own thing and not bothering her so she shrugged it off. On a hum she kicked up from the stump and moved along to find more trees.

The safe-spot turned out to be a small clearing: in the center, a tree-stump with a fairy ring around it. It felt oddly nostalgic, as if she'd seen something like this before- somewhere in the woods, years and years ago, with a little boy that had declared himself king of the forest, and..
daisy petals scattered on the ground, a voice mocking her as it pulled apart the flower crown; he loves you, he loves you not.
Time to move on.

This next tree he guessed was supposed to make him think too hard. Instead he stared at it blankly. "Too much thinking involved bro." He walked away not really caring he was jsut compared to a tree. Coming to the next tree Gabriel Santiago found that it looked surprisingly normal. Up until it said hello. On a step back she gave a tiny bow before nodding her head, "w-why yes of course..." Listening intently she frowns. The tree had said two friends but had given three names? She was confused and her furrow of brow likely gave this away. After a moments thought she figured it out, "you are taller than Milly, shorter than Dilly but taller than Nilly?" When the tree told her she was wrong the doormouse's nose wrinkled.
"But.." Frowning she simply sighed and walked away, she wasn't a tree at all and well she still thought she was right. Silly creature.

He stopped in his tracks, listening to the pleas of the tree. He was not stupid, and knew for a fact these trees would hurt you. "Nope no problem...Walking awayy...." Quote: 2: The second tree is a wide tree and doesn't look too happy to see you. It crosses its arms. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!" If you move closer it hits you for -5 damage with its branches. OOC

(4/5) Moving on to fairer pastures, BigMac approached a fairly grumpy tree. Honestly it reminded him slightly of himself, and when it crossed his arms he could hardly be affronted. "I'm not mean," BigMac grumbled, and moved a bit closer. "I just have to examine you."One more step and then he was stumbling backward, staring at the tree, incredulous. 1/5 Millie saw others examining trees, so she tried to pick one that was not in use. It was a long tree, and bent down to look at her with hollow sleepy eyes. "Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you?" The tree rumbled. "That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."

"This way? To ...nowhere and everywhere?" Gabriel Santiago was sorely confused by the separate signs but glad for the information. For now she knew how to get nowhere and everywhere. Patting the tree in thanks she turned to head back to the wayfinder, quest now complete. After getting her level from the quest and one loot card she sat back to find her way to nowhere...and everywhere, smiling the while.
