As soon as Yiro's feet hit the ground of the island, she tossed the glider (as far as gliders could be tossed), and did a very, very sad victory dance.
"WHOSE THE SHITTY GLIDER NOW, VOICES? HUH? HUH?!"
Yiro gave a middle finger salute to the fog before turning around and marching her proud little britches into the shrine. "This is mine now. Yoink!"

At first the simple joy of being in the are took over her. It filled her with an ease that she had not felt since the first day, chasing shards throughout the ruins of the World's Edge. She was content, overall, until passing through a wisp of fog.
The cold tendrils brushed over her skin, giving her a chill that took all sense of calm from her, instead causing her heart to skip and her stomach to churn. What if she didn't make it across? What if she fell? What if...
Her descent continued, but as she passed through the next bit of fog and mist that fear that she had felt was no longer overwhelming. Oh, it was there still, yes, but back was that knowledge that she knew what she was doing; that she could handle anything that she and her happy little glider came across.
