The sound of papers rustling was not unlike the sound of a rattlesnake's tail. "Go ask Rowly what happened when he didn't stop bugging me. One last time: go away." Even though Dis wasn't leering and touching her just yet, Callie felt disgusted for the poor boil currently part of Dis's attention. "Unless vampries like to bleed their own blood?"
She really didn't know how to counter this guy when he was being so damn squirmy. Like slime. She peeled one of the gunk-covered pages off her person and fluttered it in the vampire's direction to try and ward him off peaceably, the other hand moving to try and pry him off Dabir.
"Go ask Bella over there for a threesome, I'm sure she'll happily comply," Callie said dryly. Because as far as she knew, being with one person didn't seem enough for the demon.

Rowly had no idea the charm was tossed. Bella had caught it before he could see it and tucked it away some where safe. Rowly was an accessory. He remained quite like a good hand bag. All Bella needed now was a cute little fire fox to have him hold for her and his princess accessory transformation would be complete.
Despite all this, the boil was grinning.

Carafe slithered up May's arm and began hissing softly. One of her hands left Tex's shirt and began petting Carafe slowly. It was calming. May always felt there was a reason she was given a familiar that liked pets and not a weapon that did nothing for her.
May nodded and focused on breathing. "Thanks Tex," she said, quietly looking down. Jack this was embarrassing. Breathe in ... Breathe out ...

Cricket flexed her fingers when she was done, cracking the knuckles with some discomfort. "Someday I'll find a way to do that in a way that isn't so..." she sighed. "Glad it's feeling better, though. Treat that nice, I'd hate to have to treat it again so-" Cricket trailed off, looking towards Dis with a crooked frown.
"I'm sorry, Dis, I don't offer sexy services." she said flatly, putting her hand on her hip. "There is no slot for that particular service in my repertoire. If you'd looked at one of my brochures," she actually produced one from her booth from earlier, offering it to Dis, "you would know that already. Sorry."
She didn't sound sorry.

Arcana had no idea what Cricket meant.
"But....My lips are clean and I didn't put any toxins on them. Are you sure they are mass descruction?" He eyed the healer before nodding. "Ah yes! Malcolm and her were talking about it before the attack. She even rolled here because she was in pain." He gave a worried but pointed stare at Selene.
When she reacted though, her body shivering, he clutched her closer. "There....there Selene." His face was turning a bright pink as she shivered more in his arms, a small...erotic sound? What the jack. His blush only deepened as his head fell. Why did he have this thoughts right now as she was getting healed.
Why was he having these thoughts at all. Was Dis rubbing off on him...Did he catch a Dis disease?
He tried to focus on Cricket again, nodding a thanks as well. "Thank...Thank you Cricket! And I will...I will try to be more aware of my lips." I guess that meant he had to more....uh...something with his lips? Did that mean he couldn't kiss Selene? Even if he really wanted too? NO WAIT, HE COULDN'T CAUSE EVEN IF HE LOVED HER SHE WAS A FRIEND AND HE WAS NOT A PROPER BOIL YET OKAY.
He needed to be a good boil for Selene before he even thought of kissing her. Okay. A good one.
That being said, Dis was near them again and that prompted Arcana to clutch Selene close. In case the Vampire thought he could attempt anything on him or the Snake ghoul.

Dabir was just relieved to see the vampire leave. It didn’t matter that he was bothering poor Cricket. Dis was gone. He breathed a sigh of relief. Briefly, he tugged Callie’s hand and nodded his head toward the side. “Let’s move somewhere else before he comes back.” Jack, Dabir seriously hoped Dis wouldn’t come back.

The beast had been taken down without much trouble. As Vel expected, they could handle whatever was thrown in their path. They had numbers, and they weren't a bunch of little snots anymore. Nope. They were practically alumni! Almost. They weren't there just yet.
The spurt of adrenaline was still nice, though she had to wonder what they were to do now. It was too dark for her to tell if there was a way to get into that hole the tentacles had come from.
For now, she was ignoring Dis's antics as the guy was hitting on just about everyone. Again.
Looking around, she soon spotted d**k.
"Awww... did little Dicky's glasses break?"

With a sigh, Dis nodded, taking the paper and flipping through it. "Dannggggggg you really are going to that healer s**t." Smiling he winked at her. "But I still need a bit of healing. Shall I take off my clothes or will I leave it o- OHHHHHH Hello Selene." Distracted by sounds, Dis leaned over to her and Arcana. "That... was super seductive miss Sexy Selene. Make those noises more wont you?" Back to Cricket. "Where were we again?"

Arcana kept talking about his lips, and Selene didn't know what to think. But she knew what Cricket meant, if only because it was his kiss that made her flatline, so she looked up at the healer sheepishly, and gave her leg a soft nudge with one hand. "Stop that, you're teasing him." She whispered up at the ghoul, her eyes crinkling with a touch of amusement. Then she felt Arcana's arms around her, clutching her close, and her amusement fled in place of a flush of warmth that filled her and made her feel awkward and silly. She just wanted to enjoy a hug. Was that so wrong? Her entire body said it was. She pouted and tried her hardest not to shake. "I'm feeling better now, Arcie." She murmured up at him gently. "Cricket is wonderful, she knows my body from top to bottom, she could heal anything by now." There was a touch of awe in her voice - Cricket was so strong, so good at what she wanted to do. She was just another ghoul Selene looked up to - and wished she could be. Speaking of strong.. She perked up suddenly in worry. "Is Malcolm all right? The monster did not hurt him, did it? I hope he isn't-" DIS. Selene shrunk as far down into Arcana's arms as possible and squeaked in fear. " No no no no no no no no no no no-"

OhthanksweetJackthethingwasgone. She flashed a grin at Dabir. "Nice one! I wouldn'tve gotten the umph in, not without more room but, well, had to say something to try and get him off ya." She was lucky her form was fluid enough hot let her cope with the cramped conditions as it was, but oh, if she had the space to enlargen her fist . . .
. . . Dis would've made some sort of lewd comment. Agh.
Nodding, she clutched his hand and shifted the slime-covered pages away to the inside of her arm, following his lead. "Think this is a dead end, buuuut the opposite corner's close enough." Callie wrinkled her nose at the salty smells, wishing she had brought something more protective than a dress and heels - neither were doing much to shield her body from the damp air. "There's . .. no way we're near the sea, are we?"

Finally finding a decent path, Murdoch stood back and watched the other students attack the massive...student? No, likely either a guardian summons that was an intentional part of the school security or...mutant minipet on a rampage.
Wouldn't be the first time.
The zombie took a seat to the side and watched the assault. It didn't seem to be a serious problem, and it gave his more manic classmates something to do.

"Anything? Ehhh, probably not. Keep your limbs on, that's one of those things I'm still not all that great at." she confessed. Sure, she could pull her own off and on like it was some sort of cheap parlor trick, but that was the nature of her body, rather than a healing thing.
"But maybe someday. Give me like..three more years and I'll be the best healer anybody has ever met." she grinned - oh she hoped it would be true and not just a bunch of hot air.
She nudged Arcana gently. "The problem isn't with your lips themselves, silly. Just where you're putting them." she teased, passing a playful grin to Selene before she gave Dis a look that probably would have been attributed to an eyeroll if her eyes actually made that kind of change - rolling, that was.
"Dis, you're not getting healed. You can still stand upright and you don't appear to be sore anywhere. I don't throw my talents around willy nilly." she sighed. "Unless you want to be burned."

He smirked at Callie, pleased by the compliment. Dabir’s tail flicked back and forth. “Thanks. If there’s one thing I’m proud of, it’s my kicks.
Most of his clothes were now slime-free, which made him happy. He lightly tugged at his jacket. “Yeah, it looks like it, but if we can go to the back corner and maybe hide behind a few other students I’m sure he won’t see us.” Dabir shot Dis a frown.
Still holding her hand, Dabir continued to lead the golem toward the other side of the area. Occasionally he would glance back to make sure Dis was still distracted by Cricket and those other students. “I don’t think so. This is probably still near school grounds.” Even though they were in a mysterious passageway that could have led them anywhere, really.

"Y-Yeah. Stupid idea." As much as she tried to look like she couldn't be bothered, Callie was beginning to be worn down by the day's events: first fire stole her booth away as well as parts of her ankle and foot, then they had to go an invade a restricted section which was full of moist darkness that made her hit her face on dead ends and crate more issues for her feet (and whatever else got wet), and then they had to go and fight a freakin' octopus that shat slime out. Awesome. Maybe it was too optimistic to hope that Amityville's students could go one big event without a hitch, but she sure liked to hope on that on the most important ceremony of all they'd be left well alone for once . . .
When they reached the intended destination she pressed her back to the wall and sighed. "Well! Can't say this was a dull day, huh?" she said with renewed gusto, some of it forced. "Don't think I remember your name right now, Kicks. It's Callie." Since they were still holding hands, she went ahead and shook his. "You sure you're holding up alright? Those tentacles gave you a bit of a slam there."
