iLadyShira-chan -X Duo Yiro X- Hikaro_rin I can't chime in on the bible talk because I really never read much of it myself. I probably should sometime to see if the things people say it says are really things that it says. Since all of the reasons I dislike christianity comes almost entirely from word of mouth. However if all the different branches of christianity have anything to say about it, I'd say the bible has multiple interpretations, some of which contradict others. For the record, Buddhism doesn't have a god Shira. This is a common misconception, but the buddha was simply an enlightened man like the Pope. The "god" of buddhism is the state of being called nirvana. I've probably put more effort studying the eastern religions (taoism, buddhism and a little tiny bit of hinduism) than western religions. So I felt like I'd chime in where I actually have something to say. This discussion should it continue would be better placed in the debate forum. seriously it's there for exactly this kind of stuff. Not only would it allow other discussions to sprout in the ooc thread, but it would put the whole discussion in one place so that it may last longer/be easier to find. Shira was the name of the god for the Buddhism that went on in the west. At least from the people I know who claim that as their religion. THAT'S RIGHT! WORSHIP ME! scream Shiira*** lol

Gregar828 Snuffins -X Duo Yiro X- *points up* there having a discussion about when sex is not a sin... ooooooh, I love conversations like this... Sex is never a sin....plain and simple. See, I don't believe in the whole God thing, too much evidence against it. and I'd actually like to hear how you can prove the bible is true...it intruiges me, as I have dozens of ways to disprove the things it says and point out many inconsitancies... ALSO! Note to all.....If anyone find what I say to be offensive, LET ME KNOW! I really like debates like this, but hate when people become overly offended.... If we're gonna have an "Is god real" argument, move it to the debate forum. That isn't a discussion for the chatroom. oh no, I'm not meaning to start something like that. I'm seen what happens when stuff like that happens. I was honestly expecting to get a PM discussion going on. Sorry if I've disturbed anything. I was also going for one of the historically correct portions. "Is god real" discussions just turns people against each other and can shred a guild to bits...I've seen it happen.

Alright, if anyone wants to continue this debate/conversation further, please move it to the debate/ooc subforum and clear the chatroom up for normal conversation. Thank you.

Anyways, there is no problem with a religious debate (call it an argument, debate, discussion whatever) as long as it is in the debate forum. There is no problem with that unless it gets out of control.

Anyways, regarding Minecraft, I never had anything but problems with th mo creatures mod. It was a cool idea but it really lagged my game up so much that I had to remove it.
The installation is pretty straightforward, you just get MCPatcher and use it to install the mods. This also allows more complicated texture packs for even more fun!

-X Duo Yiro X- TvIaMsOqTuHeYz iLadyShira-chan TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Cobra_X TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Adultery is sex with another who is not the one you are monogamous with. Therefore, since it would be solely with her, it couldn't be adultery. Hester Prin was marked with an A because she slept with a man who wasn't who she was monogamous to, and the A was for adultery. People who walk around the wordings and subject matter like this are looking for excuses to sin without calling it sin. prostitution is called out MANY times in the bible as being something that is morally reprehensible and a sin. Well... that's just sex between two unmarried people isn't it? You think the "exchange of money" somehow makes it more of a sin then the act of sex itself?
The truth is the bible calls out against Sexual Immorality in many forms... fornication, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, etc... People just try to walk around the subjects so they can vindicate themselves.
The simple truth is that sex before marriage, or really, any sexual act outside of marriage... is sin... and trying to say that it's not is defying the word of God. Plain and Simple.Prostitution is the act of preforming something for one person that another could satisfy, and should satisfy. Prostitution isn't restricted to sex. Marriage is rarely mentioned in the bible. If I remember correctly, in the original texts, the word they used for wife, was actually a word that came to mean wife, but originally meant a loved one, much in the way we see a wife now. Likewise Husband was much created the same way. Marriage is a fairly new thing, I can't recall of ever seeing scripture of a marriage ceremony aside from the one that jesus attended to, and in all honesty, it probably wasn't so much a marriage as something akin to it, but not exactly the same. So many words of the bible have been changed from their original saying, mostly due to dificult translation, so they use a word that relatively fits the term. After decades of this, much of the substance of the Bible has changed. I'm not saying it is changed beyond recognition, but I'd rather take my facts from the older Bibles, and cross reference them with ( Brace yourselves, we're going into some rocky waters here... ) The Torah, and the Quran. While they are separate religious texts, they are infact much the same as the Christian Bible. One merely omits Jesus christ's teachings, and the other merely considers him an amazing Prophet, who did enact miracles, but who was not the son of God. While I don't agree with them, BOTH religions are older than Christianity, so they most likely have more solid information of the older times. I'm not going to justify my actions, saying what you believe is wrong, I'm just saying that given my divine right of choice, I choose to think that Marriage is new to society, and if premarital sex is indeed a sin, then so many people of the world who don't have sex until married are going to hell, and so many people throughout history will be in hell. That's exactly what I say when I tell people I don't believe in the Bible. Of course then they mostly get all huffy like I've offended their life or something. I then point out that I never said I didn't believe in GOD, I said I didn't believe in the BIBLE. Big difference. And it's simply because, not only is translating an ancient dead language like Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek are incredibly hard; but several words we have in the English language aren't even in other languages; so when it comes to translation, people have to pick the original closest word to it. For example, The Coat of Many Colors, isn't actually a coat. Translators don't even know what it is, because the word in the Dead Sea Scrolls doesn't translate to any other existing word. The closest they guessed to was "coat" but for all we know it could have been a cloak, a tunic, a g-string, or a fairy. Another reason I don't believe in the Bible, is because, when you were in elementary school, you're teacher sat you and everybody else down in a circle, and starting with the person closest to her on the left, she whispered a sentence in your ear. You had to keep whsipering the sentence as you heard it in the person's ear to your left, and by the time it got back to the teacher it was an incredibly different sentence from what she said. She would have said "I had tomatoe soup for dinner last night." But when it got back to her the sentence would be "I dog coughed up a turtle at the funeral" It was to teach you not to gossip, but the same thing applies to this situation. Several hundred years worth of text is written in the Bible, and at some point along the way, something had to have been changed when being told and written. It's like people back in Green and Roman made up stories to explain certain events happening because they weren't as scientifically advanced and therefore didn't know that the Earth spun which made the sun "rise" and "Set" everyday; but instead they thought some great Sun God was the reason for it all. In any culture you go to, you'll find any diety that someone somewhere completely is convinced exists. That's why I've resigned myself to believe there is *a* God out there; but its probably not the God depicted in the Bible, or Hinduism, or Buddhism, or mythology, or anything. Ahhh, Ok, I was unaware that The Dream Coat wasn't translated correctly. That's a bit of knowledge I'd like to see if my pastor knows, so far I haven't been able to stump him once with a question... He even answered my questions about Lucifer's decent from heaven. ( I use decent because I can't think of a word like cast that would have worked in that sentence. ) While I do still believe that for the most part the Bible is intact, seeing as it was written peice by peice over decades, the newer parts should be fairly intact, unless they were merely Oral history beforehand, and not divinely inspired like I'd love to believe. Also, the reason I said that is because it would honestly be hilarious. xD Seeing you stalking people with a baby strapped to your back, the baby is holding a pair of binoculars and has a grenade belt on. xD Do you guys mind me jumping in? I can prove the Bible is true. There is one specific way I know that has been proven in recent years. I don't mind, and if you're attempting to use the Dead Sea Scrolls, then go right ahead. The parts mentioned in the bible for those is either correct, or both were written/translated around the same time, and contain the same errors.

Who would I go to to learn the Path of the Thunder God weapon style? Seems like something that would be right up Laxus's alley. The name even fits his eventual view point and everything.
