By the time events were quieting down and at the opening of the passage, Lore was recovering from the beatings of her pokémon. "Owch man, I'm going to have to tally my HP... Yeesh, you guys." She groaned, getting back onto her feet finding it hard to repress a grin as Donut danced in the air around her and half-submerged himself in her shadow, bobbing up and down as if riding a small boat. "Since when are you in there? Aw, never mind. Gimme one, Donut." With that, as Lore crouched down the first trainer-pokemon fistbump of the day occurred.

"Brel Breloom..." Potatobi grumbled, thinking to herself that keeping her cool and balance was best, after all. What a terrible fighter she would be without it.

"So, shall we proceed? I like what you said there, Cygnus." Lore chuckled, addressing the other player.

Arriving to the scene of the picture frames, Lore regarded them with a mystified expression like most of the others. "Well, now we know that it isn't antisocial?"

User ImageDuo noticed the girl who had been struggling to keep up with the rest of them since they'd started up the stairs, falling back and offering her an arm. They all needed each other at the moment, and she seemed nice. "The last two pictures up these stairs might break your heart." They'd gotten to him, too. Even if he wouldn't admit it. But...they were nearing the end, hopefully.

NOTE: YOU GUYS ARE STILL FREE TO RP ANYTHING UP TO THIS POINT. YOU CAN EVEN LOITER AROUND THE DOOR. JUST DON'T GO INSIDE IT OUTSIDE OF YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE

REMEMBER THAT ANYONE CAN TRY FOR JIRACHI - EVEN IF YOU HAVE MISSED DAY(S) OR HAVE ALREADY CAUGHT A POKEMON.

YOU WILL BE JUDGED ON BOTH YOUR PREVIOUS ACTIONS (JIRACHI SEES ALLLLLL) AND THE QUALITY OF YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE.

There was an odd door. Carved in the center of the door was the shape of a giant eye. Oddly enough though, there was no door handle, but there was...braille.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

If you manage to make it inside, you see a Jirachi laying on a star-shaped bed. Its eyes are half lidded and it looks as if it were about to fall asleep. It looks like wiping out humans (or trying to), bringing them back again, creating a large manor, and reviving several of its friends from fossils and memories created a lot of strain on the legendary.

Well now here you are, at the end of your journey. It doesn't look like anyone else made it past the door yet - it's probably better that way. Less people means a less frightened Jirachi. But less people means you can't all collectively wish to go home at the same time. Looks like you'll have to do this the old fashion way: beg Jirachi yourself to grant your wish.

How will you do so? Jirachi will not grant wishes to just anyone. It will only reveal its true eye to those who it deems worthy. How will you make Jirachi deem you worthy?

PS: Don't post the braille translation. You may allude to it, don't post the whole thing though. Let others have the horror of translating large walls of braille text xD

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Content of the room is up to you, just know there is a bed and it is like a bedroom.

POST RESPONSES here

Deadline is tomorrow at noon EST, so feel free to think on it for a while :>

Cara went up to each picture as she passed them. Jirachi and the other pokemon looked so happy with each other in each photo. It looked like they were the best of friends. All playing and sharing together, like those were the best times of their lives. For Jirachi, they probably were. Cara remembered her own happy memories of times spent with pokemon when she was growing up, and also of the times spent with Dante and Rio, who she needed to check on once they were freed. Heaven only knew what happened to those in the pokemon center while they were trapped. Dante gave a cat-like grin as he came across the happy memories of Jirachi as well, rubbing up against Cara in joy, telling her that it made him remember the good times. They soon came to the photo of Jirachi as a stone, that photo held a more...sombre feeling to it. She had a feeling of loneliness creeping upon her, but as they approached the next photo, Cara the feeling grew and she was overcome with an even greater sense of sadness. Poor Jirachi... Dane looked up at Cara and had a sad expression on his face as well now. It appeared as if Jirachi's emotions were linked directly to these memories, just like they had been when they had experienced the first shared memory with the legendary pokemon.

"Are you all right?" Cygnus asked Lore, bemused at what seemed to be the sounds of her wrestling with her own Pokemon. "And... thank you." He directed his non-gaze toward the floor, embarrassed.

Ariel commented to Potatobi.

Though he couldn't see the pictures, Cygnus could feel the emotions rolling off of them to the point that he could almost imagine what images they held. From the first few, feelings of companionship, contentment, even fun. But from the others, loneliness, isolation, loss. Perhaps he was being too soft, as Lore had said of the trainers in general, but he couldn't help but empathize with Jirachi.

Cara's heart seriously went out to Jirachi, and she could tell Dante's did as well. As they got to the top of the stairs, they joined up with everyone else. She felt many emotions around her, two of the main ones being sadness and loneliness. They were most likely emanating from Jirachi, who she discovered was laying in a bed beyond a wall and locked door. Cara sat down with Dante resting next to her, after copying down the braille code on the door onto a piece of paper she had pulled out of her pocket. She couldn't help but think about how far they had come in who knows how many hours or days. They really didn't know how long they had been in the mansion. She glanced over towards the unconscious Jirachi behind its protective barrier. I hope it's alright... She thought. She subconsciously started petting Dante as she started looking at the sheet in front of her. "Hm...I guess we better start trying to crack this thing if we want to get out of here."

She coughed and looked back at her pokemon, who just had to go and make a show out of her in front of other humans, didn't they? Potatobi and Donut were, as expected of the moment, avoiding eye contact- so she turned back to painting critic hour. Not that there was much to criticize as the events depicted were real.

"...Added to list of possible Jirachi wishes: To share a picture diary. Or something equally pure and innocent, I'd wager." She noted to Cygnus, half-jokingly. In any case, a child's dream.

Potatobi limbered up a little before getting to viewing the pieces on the wall as well, working the kink out of her foot. Indeed, Lore raised her pokémon as individuals, preferring for them to make their own dreams than to work to achieve the human's. In that way the Breloom believed that their relationship could be a good slap in the jingly face of Jirachis with preconceptions about humans 'using' pokémon. <...What is it like, with your trainer?> She added to make conversation with the Espeon.

Cygnus nodded. "That's exactly what I was thinking. The Jirachi seems very... childlike. As if he needs guidance."

He smiled as he turned an ear toward their chattering Pokemon. "They seem to be getting along."

Ariel asked, still a bit puzzled. A strange alternative to a cuddle, to be sure.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Guidance? Funny way to put it, but you may be right. Anyone with too much power might benefit from someone to direct it, you know, share the responsibility, shoulder the power together. It remains to be seen what kind of pride Jirachi has, know what I'm getting at?" She smiled and nodded at the chattering pokémon.

Lore noticed that people were beginning to walk through the door. The comforting light, the atmosphere that emanated... she wasn't touchy-feely about mystical stuff like this, but the researcher knew for fact, like so many others, that Jirachi must be on the other side of it. "I wonder if by giving us all this chance, it is admitting that it may have been wrong. In which case, there's... more hope than there is already. But really, I trust people are able to bring hope to any situation regardless. We're pretty good at hoping." I'll leave it up to you guys. Good luck, she thought.

Well, actually, stuff can be pretty unpredictable so she loitered at the ready near the entrance anyways in case another fight broke out. By the look of things, however, events had taken a reconciliatory turn. "That Zorua is amazing. Hearing every individual response like that without getting knocked out." She eyed Cygnus' espeon with interest, thoughts going out to Soar, a... well, friend of the alien persuasion. Psychics were fascinating in what they could do. She was surprised herself by the amount of power the Deoxys possessed, and had made use of it only once in the past when needed to... resolve a problem. She might have caught a glimpse of Adriel around earlier, but had been too busy looking for Donut.

Potatobi was appalled by the mere notion. What would be the point of that? In imitation of the human gesture, the Breloom made a fist with one clawed hand and coughed into it, avoiding eye contact with the Espeon. That was a load of BS and she knew it. Her eyes widened at the mention of the trainer's blindness, however, and she looked into the Espeon's eyes admiringly. She had barely even noticed... this psychic type performed her duty with such care and skill! Finally, another pokémon who takes their abilities seriously. Unlike the gengar, Donut, who seemed set to do nothing but find progressively sillier things to do.

((We can stop whenever you like... xD))
