I blame the media for blowing things way out of proportion.
(in all aspects, the world would have ended some time last year, considering that the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years)

I blame the fact you didn't completely research the Mayan 2012 event. The literal phrasing of the event is translated as "great transcendence" which translates in a way to death. However there could be other interpretations for this meaning. I'm hoping for powers.
I feel like getting into an unnecessary fight.
