Tsuki Tulano
Tsuki looked up, staring at the treetops.
I wonder... why can't our race ever live at peace..? The trees can.. the animals can.. She glanced at the massive wolf walking calmly beside her.
Why can't we..? Rusty suddenly stopped. His ears perked and he looked of into the forest's shadows. A loud, rumbling growl grew from his throat as he bared his teeth. Tsuki turned and stared.
"What is it? Terrance, something's wrong." She pulled out her sai and looked around, waiting. A rock flew at her, hitting her shoulder. She spun, spotting a shadow moving in the trees. It was only three feet tall at the most.
A kid..? Another rock flew at her face, but she deflected it.
"Hey!" She took off, chasing after the moving shape. She was slowly gaining speed on it. Tsuki saw the oversized, and tattered shirt that it was wearing. She aimed carefully, then threw a kunai, sticking the shirt to a tree trunk. The child shrieked. Tsuki grabbed its face, holding its cheeks so it couldn't bite if it was infected. The little girl stared up at her, angrily and defiantly.
"Let go!" Tsuki stared at her.
"What are you doing here by yourself? How old are you?" The girl stuck out her tongue.
"I'm not gonna tell you! You'll hurt them!" Tsuki let go of her cheeks, but grabbed her, holding her arms and legs to keep her from kicking.
"Terrance! I found a kid!" She started walking back to Rusty and Terrance. Rusty's ears were twitching wildly. The little girl struggled.
"Nooo! Let me go!" Tsuki held tighter.
"I'm not going to hurt you. None of us will."
