Mala slipped out away from the crates and tried to walk, but her foot still hurt. She whined softly to herself, and was now walking slowly with a limp. "Damnit to hell..." she murmured to herself.

"Think you can hold out a little longer? Once we're out on the water you'll have plenty of time to finish healing." Van said once he finished dragging away the remaining drunk.
((And now to disappear for what will probably the remainder of the day now that I finally figured out where the anime club has been hiding. XD))

Mala nodded, forcing herself to walk along side Van as best as she could. "Augh...I swear, I'm never going to trust anyone who looks like they came from some fairytale ever. Not even if they give me cookies..." she grumbled to herself.

"I told you she was psycho." Van said simply as helped her along again. "Now, do we have any idea which of these boats coulda belonged to a bunch of drunken idiots like them?" he wondered aloud as he looked around the shipyard.

Harujiro no Yorozuya ninja-boi92 Mikhael gave an exasperated chuckle as the female spoke. His face didn't change, but he spoke, paanting as he did so. He still remained at the ready to strike. "Well... you're good..." he gave a slight smile. Mikhaels face changed slightly, to one of curiosity, but behind the blindfold, it went almost unnoticed. He spoke, not moving. "I don't get used... but..." he paused for a brief instant, then continued. "It sounds... interesting."

"You're the one that suggested stealing their boat, make up your mind!" Van said stopping suddenly. "And I know this is your brother's body, but could you stop referring to it like that?" he said slightly bitter as he stared at the ground. "'Riley's head', 'Riley's body'...Look, I don't know where your brother's soul is right now, but for the time being this is my body, got it?!" he snapped as he looked back up at Mala.
((Anime club was awesome last night, btw. I'm now a fan of three new series, found another song to add to my ipod, discovered a mroe convenient way for me to finish watching Umineko no Naku Koro ni, and saw two characters that could've been clones of One Piece's Sanji and our very own Voicaloid Kaito. @w@ ))

Mala gave a puzzled look. "I had just wanted to see if we should take anyone along or get extra supplies for the trip, so that's why I got off the boat." she said calmly, then went on to adress his odd behavior. "By the way, what's wrong with you? You hadn't snapped at me like this before over that! Besides, if it isn't yours, why should I reffer to it as such anyway?!"

Van held a surprisingly serious expression for the first time getting stuck in Riley's body. "I'm the black sheep of the pantheon, remember? Those assholes, my so-called 'family', thought it would be best for everyone if I got locked up for good, if they were lucky. I was stuck in that ring for YEARS. Maybe centuries, I don't know! I lost track of time in that shitty piece of jewelry! Imagine how I felt, in a different body, sure, but finally free, to find some NAGGING b***h wouldn't let me out of her sight!" Van was getting her face now, clearly venting pent up frustration and rage at this point before backing off again and turning his back on her. "You've made this brat's body just as much of a prison as that ring was. Despite all this, I'm still going to pay you back in the end, and not with a knife in the back like you seem so determined to believe. I told you before, I'm a noble thief. I always repay my debts in full."

Mala clearly didn't know how to reply to this. Somehow, she was able to hold in most of the hurt she felt from that comment. It was bad enough as it is to have yelled at Van as she did, but it was only made worse to hear him snap back once again with such an expression on his face. Mala dared not look at him, or even show her face. Instead, she went back onto the boat to continue healing her foot. She didn't bother to look at Van once, or even aknowledge his presence. Mala knew that if she did, it would only make things worse between both of them.

Not to mention the one person that actually wants to help your selfish a**, even if she just wants to do it to get rid of you.' Van thought to himself, his expression much calmer than it was before as he stared out at the waves while they floated along.
((I'm confused. Is this is a tiny rowboat of awkward silence or a regular boat with their respective corners for moping and guilt? @_@ I don't care which, I just want to make sure I don't confuse us even more. >_>
In the mean time, FOOD STUFFS AWAY!! *runs off toward dining hall in Superman pose*))
