Omega - I've heard of ants in the pants, but that's ridiculous.
Christian sat there, still as a post cemented in the ground, doing his best to avoid being bitten by these eight-legged creatures. It was working well enough, but when Hoshi dropped the jar of chocolate sauce, he had to move his hands in front of his eyes, to keep glass from flying in. When he moved his hands away, he saw a tiny dragon pouncing on random spiders and gobbling them up.
The hell?, he thought as he started to scramble up to his feet. By the time Christian was ready commence Operation: Spider Stomp, Aren had whisked Raine out of the room, leaving himself there with Sophie and Hoshi. One was already on the prowl, taking out some of the arachnids, Sophie however…
Sophia began to freak out, even going so far as to slam her head up against the headboard of her bed. Christian caught sight of that briefly from the corner of his eye and nearly moved in that direction… when he felt a rather firm swipe against the back of his shoulders. Turning his head slowly, he saw that Aren had returned and was joining in the fray.
“Thanks, bro,” Christian said as he kept stomping, swatting, and slamming spiders into dust. Not that he minded spiders terribly, it’s just there were a lot of them. Too many of them, honestly. He was starting to formulate a plan in the back of his mind while the group started to squash spiders. That was when his thought was demolished by the arrival of a new guy. Christian was going to respond in kind to Billy, but Raine was quick to shoot down the idea of introductions at the moment. There were spiders that needed squished.
Squashing spiders with bare feet was rather disgusting. But he had no other way to do it, and did his best to avoid the larger creatures. That was when he felt legs where there should not have been legs at all. “Ahhh!!!,” Christian yelled as he started to shake out his shorts, trying his damnedest to get those critters out of his clothes.
Whilst he danced about, trying to get the arachnids out of his shorts, he saw Raine swoop into the room again in an effort to retrieve Sophia from the room. Smart move, trying to evacuate. That was something that Christian was thinking about before, trying to get the hell out of this rather infested bedroom.
The feeling of spiders in his pants diminished slightly, which didn’t give him much time at all. He looked around as quickly as he could to find something, anything that he could use to try and seal off the room from the outside… or at least do his best to try. That was when he felt five sets of fangs simultaneously bite him in various spots on his body.
“Ok, onto plan B…,” Christian said to no one in particular as he saw Raine moving Sophie out. As he spoke, Christian scooped up the small Hoshi-dragon in his arms and started walking out of the room directly behind his friends both new and old.
“Don’t know how long we plan on keepin’ this up, guys,” Christian said to Billy, “But we should get outta here…” As he said that, the combination of spider venom coursing through his veins and the stomach full of waffles and fruit was beginning to make him sick. Real sick.

Omega: Ah, my cattle... “The sun makes everyone but bloody albino's happy.”She might have been biased towards the sun… Who wouldn’t vote for what gave her strength and vitality? Narcissa looked at Shandra for a moment, seeming to scrutinize ever little detail in the mixed up sentence Antonio spouted off… An almost familiar wicked smile played over her glossed lips, crystal eyes not quite as sharp as they usually were however... Attitude not quite herself... So Shandra had dumped him for someone who didn’t flirt with everything that did or didn’t move…Doubtful. Those two were…Just steps away from being all…Coupley. But if it was true… Perhaps Antonio would learn to appreciate having Shandra to himself later on. Perhaps. She looked at him with a side long glance—Taking in his frown. Yeah, probably not. “Stop being depressed. I don’t care who fell for who—Pathetic isn’t in your vocabulary Romeo... Pathetic makes me sick. I hate it. I don’t want to hate things right now—“Her attention waned as a tall boy came into the room. Interesting, newness. Her attention wasn’t initially on the spiders—No—They landed on the native American with something akin to interest. She liked new things, bright, shiny new toys. When he mentioned something about food, and a Mohawk—Cissa put two and two together and she laughed softly in greeting. “So you’re Iago.” Her eyes flashed white as she raised her hand, a large spider—The size of a turtle crawled around the counter and the sun goddess let a short, controlled burst of searing light fly from her palm. It… Really didn’t have a chance, and was little more than dust, and a nasty scorch mark on the floor. No guts, no pieces… Just soot. Antonio started sprinting outside and Cissa rolled her eyes… Spiders didn’t bother her. They were disgusting, but they wouldn’t get far with someone who could just incinerate them off. They were kind of pathetic…Sad. She grumbled... “All I wanted was a shower…”Her eyes faded from a hellfire white back to their normal blue as she glanced between Shandra and the new boy… Looking to the red head again she set her plate down and took her hand, pulling towards the exit… It was as good a plan as any, and she really didn’t feel like making one… Of exterminating. “Make Antonio happy. I hate it when he acts like a bloody pregnant woman.”
“And you…Follow.”, she ordered, turning her gaze to Iago—Though she couldn’t remember his name. Emma had mentioned something about another Omega on top of Petra—Even another one still… They just kept pouring in…But it was entirely unclear now. His name, everything… It was inconsequential really. Compared to the sun shining outside… “We’ve never formally met—A sad thing, salty goodness that you are…”, she drawled, almost kindly as she reached out with her free hand and blasted another few spiders away, eyes flashing white momentarily each time she did so. She tugged on Shandra gently—Pushing her towards the still clear exit, using her body temperature to regulate her own while using her powers in close proximity with others... She she didn't want to hurt anyone, did she? Not to mention... Shandra didn’t have shoes on…. She didn’t want them…. Crawling on her… Glancing up towards Aren her gaze was unreadable, but she smiled still—Her lovely, silver screen features simply seeming naturally fierce… “I’m Narcissa.” “And as of your promotion to the superior team—You’ve gone from living in a free country, to being my slave and minion. I own you.”, she continued on, almost as an afterthought as she waited for Shandra to escape out the door… Expecting her to do as told—As was the way of it. Her flickering blue and completely white eyes still on Aren, she smiled again, sweetly, as she habitually tossed her hair over her shoulder— “I’ll brand you later love, promise.”Maybe she did want to hurt people.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Alpha: NewcomerBɭαiя Fαяqαy ▐▐▐▐ ▉ ▊▋ It's not whether it's feasible, or not... ######################################################################...it's what I'm doing.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Blair's fingers tapped out the rhythm to the music blaring in her headphones as she drove out from town in her silver gelandewagen. She had been living in Catalina for the last three months, on contract. Her employers were touchy and jumpy; not good attributes for employers, but it was seemingly epedemic. In short they were not the professionals she was used to.
The Mafia is so much more sensible. She thought with an inward sigh. No one got personal, or messyly involved; it's all business, after all.
She was on her way to the beach. Months of painstaking reconnaissance had built up to this day. The rivals of her employers were to meet that night on the beachhead. Blair wanted to dig down early and get a better feel for the terrain before the honchos showed up. With the Colt under her seat she knew the job would be a simple one. One quick shot and she'd be in the clear. Not to mention she needed the money. The revenue from the last job had all but evaporated.
Turning off the road, Blair guided her 4X over the sand dunes. Up ahead was that beach house that was rented out to a bunch of kids for the summer holiday. She just hoped they would not interfere. Though, now that she thought of it, perhaps a little distraction would be useful. She shook her head.
No, never bring in unprofessionals, you never know what stupid idea they'll get.
The last thing she needed was for some 'heroes' to get all jumpity and make a scene, thinking they know better. She had no stomach for 'collateral damage'.
Blair frowned as her headache came on. It usually only did so when she was tired, and never this early. Just her luck.
Getting closer to the beach house, she could see a commotion going on through the windows. At first she dismissed it out of hand as some stupid game amongst the holiday makers. Blair grimaced. She had always hated such things. The words 'social event' always had a nasty effect on her. Then she saw the things climbing over the ground and walls, what she had first taken for some crabs. Slamming on the brakes, she pulled her earphones from the head and stared.
Grabbing her binoculars from the dashboard, she reassessed the people apparently dancing in the windows. Things did not seem so innocently now. Making a sweep of the condo, Blair out the binoculars down and looked at her watch. Her headache was getting worse. God knew she hated headaches.
Should I get involved? She wondered, tapping the steering wheel.
A male voice screaming made her mind up in a moment. Pulling out her 11s, she checked their loads. Pulling back her hair, she quickly made her way up to the condo from the back. She had intended to avoid the spiders, thinking that as animals, they would try to avoid her too. This idea was, however, made obselete as the creatures turned on her the moment she was within a few meters of them.
She opened a quick burst of fire.
Crap.
So much for stealth... •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••▐▐▐▐ ▉ ▊▋

Kitchen to Outside - Follow the Spiders...follow the spiders?!~810 Words~ "Yeah, it tastes so good too," Shandra grumbled after Peta commented about the food between squishing the spiders. "Damn spiders..."
She wasn't usually into cursing, foul language didn't seem to have a point to her, but there was something about saying it aloud that seemed right. Plus, it conveyed just how she was feeling. Those damn things had to die...ruining a completely good meal and all. But she should have known that whenever the Hellions, or in this case the Omegas now, tried to have a nice meal outside of the Academy it all blew up in their face.
This time she wasn't laughing either. Not like she had laughed at the other ones. But for some reason...this was personal. And Shandra didn't had personally well. --- If you didn't believe her, ask Antonio about that. (Crunch squish went another few spiders) Speaking of Antonio, it seemed the Hispanic was having issues of his own. A large one it seemed...seeing as he had just crashed through the window. Shandra's face turned into a scowl as the tried to keep her mind off of what could have been wrong with him, unsuccessfully.
She knew he had issues with dead things, or things that smelled dead...but now spiders? Seriously? It seemed like ever since he'd put on the eyepatch, he'd taken away the Antonio she had known. Like the games they used to play, he'd stashed himself away. Only, she didn't know where to find him.
Especially among all these ********.
Was Antonio even cut out for the X-men anymore?
Shandra jumped, plates crashing to the floor, when Narcissa grabbed her hand and physically demanded that she follow her to the exit. Spouting off about how she was supposed to make Antonio happy. How was she supposed to do that?
Shandra skirted around the spider that tried to use her feet for a climbing board and threw it into the wall. Multiple times. That damn thing wouldn't give up until all of its legs had been broken. And still it had the nerve to twitch.
She hated spiders, let the records show that.
Apparently as soon as she was at the door she was all on her own. Shandra grumbled something under her breath that didn't even make sense or become a conscious thing in the least. Until... "What...am I supposed to kiss his ego and tummy and tell him its all better now?" Shandra grumbled as looked outside where more and more spiders seemed to be pouring in from.
She turned her green eyes back to Narcissa almost with a hidden mirth that wasn't so hidden when she mentioned about branding Peta. She could just imagine him with two blistered hand prints on his chest. Like how they'd done to that one warrior guy in Pocahontas (the Disney version) only much more everlasting.
"Careful...he doesn't like to wear a shirt, all his marks will show."
Which reminded her...she was in a really thin fitted top. Oh well...
"owe," Shandra complained as she felt a larger spider sink its fangs right into her.
She could almost feel the poison attempt to seep into her. Only, the spider let go...twitching...and her blood pushed the poison right out. Well yippie for not being able to be poisoned for spiders...didn't help the minor pain of the bite in the least. Almost for good measure she made sure that one was nice and dead with a swift push downwards that made the thing nothing more than liquid.
Shandra giggled...liquid spiders.
She looked back outside to where Antonio was. Oh! That was right...she was supposed to find a way to pamper the freaked out Hispanic. Stepping outside, Shandra kept a path clear for herself while she walked as she felt her skin start to tingle with the signs that she was actually using her powers. The redhead moved to the point where she was almost right under Antonio.
"Ant, its...okay...come on down," Shandra called out as she sent a wave of spiders tumbling back onto each other.
Wait...were some of them eating each other?
"Ewe, gross..."
Shandra shivered, her mouth forming up in a symbol of disgust. She tilted her head up, for a second, taking in Antonio. Yep, he was definitely flipping out. And she still couldn't figure out why. Maybe he was just being a baby about it---
Oh, he still had the shiny necklace on...
"Don't make me come up after you!" Shandra called out, a neutral expression on her face.
She counted to three...her patience wearing down as soon as she even started. By the time she'd hit three, she'd already grabbed a hold of the ledge of the roof. Shandra pulled her body up, spun around, pushed off the building, and went straight through the air...latching directly onto Antonio as easily as though she'd simply tried to tackle him on ground level.
Shandra flinched when she heard gunshots ring out through the air, gripping onto Antonio tighter...her powers lashing out. She forced them higher into the air before she even realized she'd done it...oops.

Kitchen?Bɭαiя Fαяqαy ▐▐▐▐ ▉ ▊▋ It's not whether it's feasible, or not... ######################################################################...it's what I'm doing.••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Blair cursed mentally. She had wanted to avoid calling undue attention to herself. It was bad for business. Unprofessional.
Well, that's blown. She thought wryly. Hmmm...may as well have a bit of fun.
The spiders seemed enraged at the violent intruder. And the headache did not seem to want to nick off either. Not to mention that the door of the beach house did not seem to be getting any closer, regardless that she was emptying bullet after bullet into the creeping little monsters.
Thankfully, some of the attacking arachnids seemed distracted by the remains of their former comrades. She paused for a moment, wiping sweat from her forehead.
Damn, damn, damn! She thought. Her head was throbbing dully in pain.
Blair heard a shout and looked up at a sudden movement. Narrowing her eyes against the sun, she watched silently as a girl pulled herself up onto the roof with unbelievable ease, almost as though she had flown up.
What the bloody hell's going on here?!
It was getting seriously difficult to focus. Both mentally and physically. The world was blurring. Words could not describe how she hated that. Control was everything. Those who could not control themselves were worse than useless, they were a danger to everyone, including themselves. She looked down and saw some spiders getting too close for comfort and fired off another round at them.
Looking up again, Blair saw the girl and guy flying up into the air. "Bloody hell!" she hissed. These were mutants! Taking on the girl's shape instinctively, she ran into the house, not sure what she would find. She ideally would need to case the joint before deciding on her move, but the world was far from ideal; she did not know how much time she would have and what or who she would encounter. She did not even know who the enemy was here. It was complete alien territory.
In theory, as a mutant herself, the two in the air would be on her side, but the shela seemed anything but friendly.
Disturbing. she thought, Seriously disturbing. But it's sure as hell these guys are in deep. But in what?
She realised with a slight shock that her headache cleared remarkably as she finished her shift. The strong throbbing pressure in her skull had waned, but she could feel it building again, like a dam that had been realsed for a few moments, then shut again.
Blair needed to find someone who seemed to have a handle on things. She looked at the blonde girl and the surfie-looking guy she had managed to burst in on. "What's going on?" she asked, looking from one to the other.
Blair kicked another spider off her leg. The others did not seemed overly troubled by them, strangely enough. There were bloody spiders EVERYWHERE. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••▐▐▐▐ ▉ ▊▋ (EDITED!)

Omega: Follow the butterflies...Billy made several more quick swipes at the incoming spiders. Soon this place will be covered in a horde of eight legged venom spitting aracnids. Christian had the right idea of getting out of here. And quick! But he wasn't looking too good. Maybe too many waffles? Hopefully it wasn't all the spider bites getting to him. He had the tiny dragon in his arms, but she looked like she'd rather be pouncing on spiders than being carried away. And in the corner, a poor girl was too petrified with fear to even move ( Sophie). Forunately someone had rescued her from being made spider food. But Christian was being swarmed by the spiders. They crawled up his legs and arms making their way into his clothes. " Ahhh! Okay... uh... stop drop and roll!!", Billy yelled to Christian. He wasn't on fire, but with enough spider bites he might as well be. " I'll get the dragon out and safe", he said before disappearing next to Hoshi. " I'm gonna get you out of here, okay? Just hold on to me." Billy made sure to make good eye contact to establish a connection. He picked the small blue lizard up in his arms and sped to the front door squashing every spider in his tracks. Nudging the door open he made another quick run outside. " Okay... where to now?" he asked himself. The spiders seemed to ignore most everything else except the condo. He spotted a vehicle parked outside with an x-men lisence plate. That seemed like the best place to get to. Billy sped over to the car and gently placed Hoshi inside away from the crawling death. "You'll be fine in here, just keep the door closed until I come back", Billy instructed to Hoshi. Speeding back inside, Billy wiped a mass of bloodied guts off the soles of his shoes on the welcoming mat. " Hey dude, you don't look so good", he pointed out to Christian. " C'mon we've got to get out of here and get you some medical attention." Billy swatted some extra spiders off of the boy and took his arm over his shoulder. He lifted him up by the side and zipped his way outside back to the car with Hoshi inside. " Where is everyone else? We should be leaving as soon as possible." Billy wasn't sure of how many were at the condo, but he counted two more flying above the now spider infested hive.

Alpha - Eight Legged Freaks
The Jack clone was nearly there but with one major impediment. The Woods came to life with spiders. And he was worried. Was it too much to ask for a normal vacation? Apparently so. He through caution to the wind and took the pack off and simply went into over drive using it, his boots, and a random large tree branch that was laying around to fend them off. A few jumped to be batted away, and a couple got on him and bit down with their fangs to get swatted away or smushed. It was virtually no use, and retreating wasn't much of an option. Eight legs could run faster then two. Sure he was bigger then them also, but that just seemed to mean at the moment he was a bigger target. This will not end well.
Meanwhile the real Jack though happy to see his redhead companion clinging to him, would have been much more happier if the condition in which was far more pleasant. Keeping her close he walked slowly back to shore where his cloths and shoes were. He knelt down and instantly saw a large hissing spider on his shirt. He grabbed his boots took out the socks and backed up. He put them on quickly and did a rush job of tying them but didn't worry. As the swarm got closer they stopped at the waters edge and all freakish eight sets of eyes from like a gazillion of spiders were staring at them as if to make a move. Meanwhile he made a cavalry. Spawning the remaining number clones he could and even trying for another which didn't go to well. He wasn't goign to waste energy trying right now. All the Clones lined up around them picking a direction to watch while one did the Honor of retrieving Kerrigan's shoes for her.
" So.... uhmm.... Any bright ideas scarlet? Calling Orkin or somethin?" he was being slightly sarcastic but in trying to make some light of the really creepy situation he they were in. It took precedence over the earlier comment about her reflexes which he would continue at another point in time when life, her's and his, weren't in immediate danger. The Spiders started crawling up tree trunks. Not one setting foot on water. It was interesting but he was still rather iffy about what they were planning.
Jack clones united once again a temporary Resistance, They began to move forward cautiously. The only thing they could really do is buy some time for the original and Kerrigan to get away scott free. And hopefully hold out long enough so the original wouldn't have to stop or faint from their demise. " Whatever we plan on doing I suggest we go ahead already. I'm gettin the heebie jeebies lookin at em."

Alpha - Catalina - And then there were two….wait, what? Raine's arms were wrapped around Sophia tightly, her hands working overtime to try and brush off as many of the eight-legged creepy crawlies as she could. Unfortunately, it was to very little avail, as the brunette managed to shuffle her roomy off of the bed, her arms still around her. She thought back to all those nature documentaries she watched with Katie -- the ones that always explained that spiders were more afraid of you than you were of them, and the best thing to do was sit still and let them do their thing. That was a lot easier said than done. " Will someone come help me," she all but screamed out, shaking her head free of several spiders as she tucked Sophia's head close to her in an attempt to shield her. However, when she didn't hear anyone respond to her, her hazel eyes looked out into the spider infested room, finding that the two girls were all alone. A blur had taken Christian away, leaving the two most terrified persons alone in a room crawling with arachnids. It had to have been the new kid…what an a*****e. Raine's eyes narrowed as a soft growl escaped her, the terror of the spiders nothing compared to the anger welling up inside her at the a*****e that left the two of them alone. Now they had to get out of here -- she had some serious butt to kick. At one point she might have been dragging the floramancer along with her as she stomped her way through the spiders and out of the room, careful not to touch the walls as she rushed towards the door. There would be more space outside - a larger area for them to get away from the spiders. After all, walls crawling with spiders was just the way to make a girl feel claustrophobic. As the two girls burst through the front doors, she released Sophia letting out a shriek as she felt legs underneath her hair, crawling over the back of her neck. Spinning in a circle as she threw spiders off of her, slapping spider carcasses on her arms and stomach to smash them, she caught sight of the new guy putting Christian into a car with Hoshi. He was the reason they had been left alone in a nightmare room. He was the reason she still had spiders crawling around her pants hem. He was going to pay. Her steps were deliberate in his direction, hazel eyes nothing but slits as she closed the distance between herself and Billy. He was only a few inches taller than her, though she had a distinct feeling that she could take him in a fight. " Umm, Billy, was it?" As soon as he turned to look in her direction, her open palm was in direct course to connect with his cheek. A resounding SMACK rang through the area as a livid Raine stood there, glowering at him. Electricity crackled across her body as she raised her hand to strike once more, though she appeared to be holding herself back. " If you…ever do anything like that again, I swear," she snarled at him through gritted teeth, her sentence trailing off before she could finish. If she did half of the things she was imagining to him right now, there would be nothing left by the time she was done. That wouldn't be too good for Morale, though she had a feeling that Bella would understand when she explained it to her. The feeling of more legs crawling over her exposed back caused another scream to erupt from her, tears welling up in her eyes as she tried to get rid of the feeling. " Why is this happening," she whined, curls now messy and falling into her face without order. She looked miserable, afraid and all together pitiful as she sniffled, attempting to hold her tears back.

Omega: Hell hath no fury...
Billy felt as if he missed something, almost as if there was someone left unaccounted for. "Did that little girl who was beating her head get out of there? I'm pretty sure. Right? There was that other chick who was grabbing her by the arm. What was her name? I don't know anybodies name here. Why did I ever come here anyway? I should have just waited back at the school like I wanted to in the first place. I would have avoided all of these spiders and now I have to buy a pair of new shoes." Billy took a gander at his sneakers, both covered in a mix of blackish red spider guts. His face tiwsted with disgust and his skin crawled. "Never... again..."
Just then Billy heard a girl scream for help from within the condo. "Oh snap! She didn't get out yet", Billy said with worry. But before he could get back to help her escape, Raine was all ready grunting her way outside, standing firm and independant. She seemed angry, very angry. Her eyes were like daggers pointed in Billy's direction, and with no sign of retreat. "Oh crap." Billy knew what was coming his way. He knew that look from just about anyone.
SMACK! Ow! Billy stood his ground. he wasn't going to let some girl smack him and then not expect to get an ear full back. Though it hurt, he wasn't going to show it. "If I ever do that again, you won't be able to hit me. Because I'll have ran faster than you can lift a finger." Billy was only trying to help the situation, not cause any harm. "This is why I don't like girls. So touchy about small gross things that crawl and being left alone. Well guess what, there are worser ways to die. Judging by the size of those spiders, they could have run you down, encased you in a thick layer or webbing after paralysing you, until then would it take only a couple hours or less to eat you. And you wouldn't feel a thing." Billy was done with his geeking out.
"I'm sorry I didn't get you and your friend. I thought you had gotten out before me," he apologized. He rubbed the side of his face. "I just want to get away from here."

Alpha - I'm not bipolar, I swear! Eli got up, his mind blank, conflicted. The KILLJOY strain struggling to force him into the high. Yet Bella's powers stirring the other half telling him to remain calm and silent. Slowly walking his way to the condo. His feet however were just shuffling across the sand, as he hoped to not kill any of the spiders.
He paused too look up as he saw a stranger (Billy) get smacked across the face by another person (Raine). 'Ouch, that had to hurt.' He thought as he approached.
"Hey guys, what's up with all the spiders?" He asked, his voice changing from monotonous to chipper by the time he had finished speaking. The KILLJOY seeming to take more effect as he talked and socialized with others; while Bella's powers were forced back and repressed.
He knelt down and let a couple of the spiders crawl across his hand. He suppressed a laugh as it tickled the palm of his hand and he stood back up, shaking off any remaining arachnids still climbing up his hand. He looked up as more spiders came towards him, this time, he didn't take such a quick 'oh look' manner to them, as they outsized tarantulas, by a lot.

Omega: Catalina - If it weren't for the spiders, this might actually be nice... Jack kept her close as the pair started to make their way through the water back towards the shore, something she was immensely grateful for. On some level this all felt so strange -- had she ever been scared of a bug like this? Surely not. But there was something about the current situation that screamed danger; screamed fear. If ever there was a time for the redhead to let down her guard and show a little vulnerability, now was it. After all, these spiders were surely going to be the death of them all. Even as her companion broke away from her for a split second to grab his clothes from the short she felt a surge of panic grip her stomach, knotting it tightly. That panic was intensified as she saw the glint of spider eyes staring at her. Was it her imagination, or did they look hungry? Those fangs dripping…ugh, it was enough to make her sick. Thankfully, Jack formed their own army of clones, the massive bodies circling them while one of the clones grabbed her shoes for her. She caught them as he tossed them to her, the redhead slipping them on quickly, not bothering to tie the laces tighter, like she should. As soon as both of her feet were back on the ground, her body was in contact with Jack's once more, eyes scanning their situation to try and find a way out. This was one situation where her powers didn't really seem to help, and that was a frustrating feeling. Jack's voice brought her back to reality, asking if she had a plan. She could hear the sarcasm in his voice, and it brought a smile to her face; but it somehow didn't completely erase the danger of the situation they were in. " I used up all my bright ideas coming up with this hike," she said with a soft chuckle, glancing at him with a subtle apologetic look. This was the closest she ever felt to a damsel in distress, and she had to admit that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. As the clones started to progress forwards, making a bit of a path for the pair to escape through. One of them suggested that they not just stand there, but should get moving, and Kerri didn't have to be told twice. Her hand slipped into Jack's taking a step towards the direction the clones were heading in. " I think your clones are doing enough thinking for the both of us. Let's head back to the condo and hope they can hold out long enough so I don't have to find a way to drag your butt back," she said quickly, a hint of challenge underlying her words. It was all in good fun, though if something were to happen, she wasn't sure she would have the strength to move him. While his size was something that attracted her to him in the first place, in this instance it might end up being a problem if enough of his clones perished from arachnid poisoning. I mean, there were so many different kinds of spiders at least a few of them had to be poisonous, right? Let's just face it, their luck wasn't that good.

இ คჩεn இ ტრεჟค Raid, anyone?▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ Iago? Somewhere within his mind the cobwebs about the reference stirred, but it took several moments of contemplation to catch the fleeing thought. Shakespeare? Wasn't that a villain of some sort? This aakííkoan didn't know him at all, and was essentially accusing him of being a manipulative a*****e. didn't that character suffer in the end, die or something? He assumed that this Iago fellow died; most of Shakespeare's characters suffered/embraced that destiny. Despite the accusation, the native american grinned as she shook his head. "I doubt... that I'm anything close to what came out of some cracked, old man's mind.... And I assure you that I'm not some antagonist that's jumped from the stage and onto the junior teams." It sounded more stiff than he'd intended... maybe he was just on edge about what he and Shandra had just been doing. ...That line of images had burned itself into his mind forever.
More of the damnable, eight legged, freakish critters scrambled over the floor, and made their way over his barefeet. He stomped on a few, took a stool to one of the larger ones, causing a "crunch" noise to sound the air. "Blech." He muttered, the chitin coming out in a long string of a goo to set his revulsion. The light that emanated from Cissa's palm was blinding, leaving Aren to blink, marveling at the blonde's power. Such control too. Judgemental, just a tad. Or, maybe he'd just missed the joke before he had sauntered in to warn them of the pest problem, only to discover much the same situation as he had upstairs. Idly, Aren's mind wandered back to Raine, wondering if she would still be standing, petrified in fear where he'd left her.
Cissa's words about a shower brought his attention back to the kitchen, thoughts deserting the pretty brunette upstairs for the time being. "Odd place for you to seek one of those out." He said, more to himself than for her to respond to. Actually, it'd be better if she hadn't heard it at all. Yes, he was newer to the whole "civilization" thing, but Aren was positive that the kitchen was a universal place for food, and not exactly the top choice for bathing.
The comment that related Antonio to a pregnant woman did merit a chuckle; was this woman always so sardonic? And then she started barking orders... to him. Who was she, and why did she feel that she had reason to boss him around? Confused as to why he obeyed, his feet willed him to trail after the blonde. She pointed out the obvious, that they'd not met... but he bit his tongue from saying anything that might get him into trouble. Something told him that it might not be a wise idea to test this woman's patience.
The lopsided grin that had been famously his on the reservation played in his expression as Narcissa called him something akin to a snack. "And I'm not Iago," he said in response to the goddess introducing herself. His chocolate eyes fell on the red head that Cissa was tugging along. Just what had Móáhk told her? Rather, what had Antonio said to her about him before he'd re-entered the kitchen. That made far more sense... Surely Shandra wasn't the type to kiss and tell. Naapi... he hoped not.
What? Narcissa owned him? ...Aren didn't think so. In a matter of seconds, he'd gone from being, some 'salty goodness' to being a serf. Just what kind of person was she?
The smile did nothing to help his cause, nothing to help him decipher the intentions accompanying her words. Was she insinuating... surely not. Yes, the blonde was pretty... As different as Shandra had been on the rez... but, to make such a strong declaration within five minutes of knowing him... He'd have to talk to Móáhk about this later, after she presumably made Antonio happy. Though why on earth anyone would waste their time trying to cheer up the cretin was beyond him. All the man had done since the three of them had emerged from Shandra's room was pout like a three year old who dropped his sucker.
Love? Brand? Really? What was he, a cow? Cows weren't salty. And he really just hoped that the accent would explain her calling him 'love.'
But the words that fell out of his mouth were drastically different than he'd intended. And why did his eyebrows raise flirtatiously, as if inviting her to go for it. "I'll hold you to that." Most brandings were painful; what was he now, a masochist?
"Careful...he doesn't like to wear a shirt, all his marks will show." Shandra remarked.
Yep, definitely a masochist. And yet.... he didn't care. What the hell was going on with his proper state of mind? And why did he still not care?
His best friend disappeared -presumably to 'fix' the Hispanic's surly attitude- leaving him with the woman who had thus far only confused him. She was the epitome of why, exactly, men never knew what women's intentions were. She was precisely just that... a conundrum.
And he had nothing more to say. The grin on his face painted him the simpering man, but as he stared at the Omega leader, he couldn't help but keep it plastered in his expression.
What appeared to be Shandra sauntered in, in a state of amnesia. "You are supposed to be cheering up the louse on the roof." He said, rolling his eyes at the wasted effort (in his opinion.) But, something was off about Móáhk.. She'd just left and now was feigning ignorance.
His gaze rounded onto Cissa, the question obvious in his stare. All joking aside... something was wrong.

♦♠♦ ⌠Ω+M+ε+G+α⌡- Spiders interrupting ♠♦♠ Leion laughed slightly as Wilbur babbled about pride rallies and kissed Leion again, the comment about practically spooning was quite humorous indeed. "You don't have to do anything like that, we could just stay up here all day and. . ." he drifted off as he noticed something creepy and crawly making its merry way into the room. Spiders. Not just normal spiders either, there were some freakin' biger than tarantula things out there! He had a sudden moment of clarity and hugged Wilbur to him as he created an orange dome of his energy around them. He had to hug Wilbur to him because he couldn't sustain larger shapes for too long. "Spiders. Lots of 'em. All over the room" he said with his voice shaking slightly. It wasn't that he was particularly afraid of spiders, it was just that there were so many and their size didn't help. As he had been speaking there were several sickening sizzles and pops coming from the other size of the domes as the spiders jumped to get at the two in the dome only to be fried and dissolved by his energy. He could feel each hit drawing at him no matter how small, it was that feeling that kept his head clear from thoughts of the things he could do with Wilbur behind the opaque semi-bubble and actually doing them which would drop his focus and lead to both of them being engulfed in the horrible little arachnids.

Alpha: So Lost
She really had every intention of running into the pool. The problem was that the cycle of her power was striking again. The healing was burning off the drug, kicking in on healing her body, and putting her in a rage of pain. The pain on top of the spiders driving her senses insane made her want to scream quite badly. She hit her knees near the condo falling just behind the path of Eli.
Evie didn't fear much in life. And her irrational fear of spiders was primarily power related. Something about their little legs sent her into sensory overload. It was the one thing she was never able to rise above when training. Such conquered so much, but these were not one of them. She was able to take down a small army, but this army of small would break her mind.
She was on her knees holding her arm across her stomach trying not to cry in pain. The healing was taking care of the other injuries but just as fast as she was becoming lucid, the drug was tripping with her mind again. It felt like a huge mind-$#@! that Emma Frost or another telepath could do. But a mind scramble didn't make her healing system go crazy. That was something like Mystique would do.... except Mystique was more direct and would hold a gun to her face.
"God damn it, what is this stuff?" She muttered before that feeling of 'I don't care' started to overwhelm her. At least the pain was subsiding. Her mind was in such a foggy place she didn't really get what was going on around her.
She stood up and realized then that there were new players in the game on the beach and the condo. New voices, new scents.
"Damnnnnitttt the spiders are still here," She groaned.
Feeling slightly freaked out and slightly happy.... and then more freaked out whenever she saw the small hoard coming over towards Eli. She squeaked (something nobody really ever would hear Evie do normally) and jumped on Eli's back, "Don't let them touch me. Don't let them touch me. PLEASE don't let them touch me."
Uncharacteristic fear had her put a death grip around him.

Alpha - As Eli stood there he was lurched forward as Evie jumped on his back.
"Oh hi there!" Eli said with excitement, "I'll do what I can for you m'lady." He said bowing his head slightly, even though he wasn't facing forward.
Eli jumped slightly, his toes still on the ground, so that he could adjust Evie and have her legs raised, further from the spiders. As the hoard continued, he prepared to use his abilities, until the 'calm and silent' order of Bella rang through his head, which reminded him, he just had a seizure do to his overuse of powers.
"You up for that pool and smoothie? Think about it, spiders stay away from water, except maybe the underwater spider, but they stay in still waters where Mosquitoes dwell." He asked her. She did after all offer up a smoothie and a trip to the pool to him and Alek. A smoothie did sound good as well, considering the last time he ate was a quick stop to In-'n'-Out before he got on the helicopter.
As he awaited her response, he kicked a rather large spider in one of it's eight eyes.
