Ophiuchus stood up, sensing Arielle's stress. "The day we will truly have understanding and peace in the world," he said softly, looking the Headmistress right in the eye. He did not disguise his power, he let her know that he was extremely powerful, and older than she. "Is the day we learn that light and dark magic compliment each other, not oppose. No one is asking us to like those who use dark magic. There are plenty of them whom I cannot stand." He grabbed his staff.
"But I respect all types of magic. I would never deny someone a cure based on what magic they use. I do not discriminate against gender, age... or race."

Heaven91 Akira giggled and gave the huge canine a good strong pat on the back, smiling warmly at him. She knew he was obviously trying to distract her from eavesdropping, but she couldn't blame him, he was just too likable!! Nice to meet you, Etzel! I'm Akira! she replied with a bark herself, heck, why not? It was fun! But her smile quickly turned into a frown when realization hit her hard; she couldn't hear a bloody thing outside of the room!! "Oh come ON!" she growled, shaking her head and signing heavily. "Well, that's just great..." she mumbled as her ears fell a little and she continued to brush the animals, finding the motion very relaxing, but her heart wasn't really in it anymore. She also realized that soon enough Evemore would arrived and they'd be in this room, together, to brush the animals...Unless Her best friend's punishment would be different? Oi... Etzel shook his head at Akira. It's probably for the better that we don't hear it. Mistress Arielle is really nice. He glanced at the cats. The blue-eyed one is Sacha, and the blue and green-eyed one is Anja.

She stared Ophiuchus in the eyes, and her voice shook. There was something heavily masked, but thinly veiled in her eyes--fear. "I cannot accept them. It is..." She shuddered and looked away, out the window. It was a dark night. No one in their right mind would be out--not with the new moon--but Arielle had just graduated from Bai Ching and was extremely proud of her accomplishment. She felt ready to take on the world!
She hummed softly to herself as she walked down her street in Germany. She was coming back home from a party one of her old friends had thrown in celebration. She'd had offers from a few people for a ride, but she'd declined; it was a calm night, and the temperature was quite nie, so she wanted to enjoy it. It wasn't far, anyway. Just a couple blocks.
She was a smart girl, too; she avoided the alleyways and created her own light when the streetlamps were not enough.
But she soon froze, seeing a large amount of red, and bodies... and a creature, a dark creature, smirking from atop them. It was a werewolf, she just knew , and he was giving her a look that sent shivers down her spine. He was not transformed, as it was not the full moon, but he was obviously cracked, insane. He...
She was frozen. The bodies he was sitting atop, the small pile--she recognized them. They were her friends, a group who did not have a car, but who were walking together. And this werewolf had killed them all, without effort. Even her one friend, who had been half-werewolf herself, was dead. Killed mercilessly.
And she was next.
She screamed, throwing up a barrier, and the creature ran at her, aiming to kill. Its hands swiped against her barrier, and she could feel the tears leaking from her eyes. She chanted, hoping, praying. From the pendant around her neck, she summoned the enchanted spring water she'd obtained once. She sent it towards the creature, thinking only of saving her life, of keeping this thing at bay.
It died on contact, but not before it broke her shield and grazed her stomach with claws that should not have remained during the new moon. Her world faded to black..."I simply cannot." Her voice was a whisper, a ghost.

Akira looked into the great canine's eyes and nodded slowly, feeling somewhat defeated. She smiled weakly,not to hurt his feelings.
I suppose your right...It is none of my business...But lately,with all the crazy things that have happened, i find i really do need to pay a lot more attention or i'll be left in the dark... she replied softly, then her gaze drifted over to the two beautiful feline's and her smile grew a little more.
"Hi, i'm sorry if i don't understand you two very well...I'm still learning the feline language, but i will get better, my familiar will make sure of that!" she giggled softly as she continued to stroke their fun with care.

Ophiuchus stepped back, the soundproofing spell dissipating. "And that will be the end of you one day," he said warned her, before teleporting back to the infirmary. He wanted to Lin one more time before he went back to MFHS.

Etzel smiled at Akira. Your friend is Evermore, correct? If it's anything to do with her, she would tell you, if you are true friends. That's how friends work, right? That's how it worked with himself and Arielle, anyway. How it had always worked, ever since he'd met her one night many years ago...

Arielle didn't hear Ophiuchus' last statement. She no longer was in that room, no longer Headmistress. She was a girl, and she'd just lost so many friends... she'd just killed a creature, and she'd just developed a strong hatred for all things dark.

Ophiuchus suddenly appeared in Bai Ching's infirmary, approaching the cot where Lin laid. She was still unconscious, it seemed. He looked around for the nurse, then back at Lin, before quickly reaching down to move some hair out of her face.

Lin sighed softly as she felt a soothing touch against her face. Her body had finally had a few hours to rest and heal in a safe environment. It was well enough to allow Lin a few moments of consciousness.
Slowly, Lin's eyes began to open. This infirmary was the best because it had no harsh lights above the beds to blind a patient. The first thing she saw when her eyes opened was her professor's face. She didn't even realize she was back home yet.
Lin smiled softly, yet weakly. Her voice was very soft when she spoke and somewhat scratchy. "Professor Akakios... Hello."

Akira nodded, but didn't look too sure.
She is my best friend and yes, usually it works that way...But i dunno if Evermore would of told me if i hadn't of walked into the room at the time...It's complicated i suppose, so i'm thinking i just need to watch my own back from now on...Oh and Kilala's. she mumbled, before her ears twitched once again and noise bloomed into action again.
She frowned at the last words she heard that kind stranger say before she could no longer feel his incredibly strong aura.
Glancing towards the door, she said worriedly, Etzel...Think we should head back out now...? Something doesn't seem too right with the Headmistress...I don't like the way her heart beat is sounding, or the scent of fear that's engulfing her...

Etzel could also feel these things, and they worried him. Arielle was normally so calm and collected... she rarely got like this. But he, being connected to her mind, too, knew why. He shook his head at Akira. Not just yet... he said. Mistress Arielle needs some time, I think... Truth be told, he was itching to go out there and comfort his mistress, but he didn't think that she'd wand a student to see her like this.

Ever had stormed up to the third floor and over to her headmistress's office. She had put the locket back in her skirt's waistband. She did not want to think about it right now while she was meeting with her headmistress.
Taking a deep breath, Ever raised her fist and rapped on the door.

Arielle blinked and jumped at the sound of knocking. Quickly recollecting herself, she sat at her chair again and waved the door open. She suddenly felt very old and very tired, and she gave Evermore a weary smile. "Have a seat."

Akira nodded, understanding the kind of connection a familiar had with it's master, thought she was just beginning to understand it, this moment was quite obvious.
With a smile, she said, Go to her, i'll stay in here with the felines, ok? I think i heard a knock at the door by the way...
