"He's called Osusuki. Osu, if you like." Ieyasu turned back to Kami, his aqua gaze curious. "So, have you met many of the other guardians about on the island?"
Osu shrieked with mock indignance as he was bowled over himself. He was going to do that!! But, it was all good in the end. Chirruping happily, he nudged at Keanu, craning his long neck upwards to catch hold of the other Aerandir's ear. Playfully, he tugged on his new friend's ear.

Fae smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I've been meaning to arrange a play date for Nehanda and Pueblo. Speaking of which, where is Nehan-" But just then, her sentence stopped short as a clearish form flashed past her. Ghost! It was the first thing to come to mind. She whirled around and in awe, saw a little ghost buzzing around Pueblo. "Are these woods haunted?!"
Staring steadfast on the ghost form Nehanda, something inside her heart told her that this was her friend. "Peep!" She ruffled her feathers a bit and balanced on the tree limb with her claws. Eyeing Nehanda, it was hard to keep her eyes on her instead of through her. Cocking her head to the side, this new Nehanda was strange and different. A little unsure of this new ghost form, she reached out to nuzzle her friend, but alas! She fell through and onto the ground with a thud and a squwak. What the heck..?!

Kami smiled at the named, and blushed slightly, returning his gaze with her own. "No...actually, you're the first caretaker I've met here." she replied, looking down for a moment as Mazin began to rub agaisnt her foot.
Keanu chirred in triumph and nudged back. He squeaked as his ear was tugged, and batted at Osusuki lightly, chittering at him in a mock-scolding sort of way, almost sounding as if he were laughing.

"Ah, I see. There's quite a few others around on the island." He appeared as though he was about to continue, before noticing the dragon shifting around Kami's feet. He shifted back slightly again, appearing decidedly awkward.
Osu chirped back, before deciding to wriggle out from underneath Keanu. Rolling back to his feet again, he thumped his front paws on the ground before bounding forward to nudge him in the side again. Bouncing back, he pranced around the other Aerandir in a circle, his wings raised slightly off of his back.

"I know." she smiled sheepishly, brushing a few loose strands of hair from her face. "I'm sure I'll meet them all, in time." he chuckled nervously, before he stepped back, an followed his gaze to Mazin, and blicked. "What's wrong?" she asked, curious.
Keanu bounced after him, and swatted at his tail, rather jealous of Osusuki. He hismelf had only a little stub, compared to Osu's big fluffy tail. He chirped and leapt over Osu, fluttering his wings as he llanded in the sand.

"Eh... it's nothing, really..." he replied after a moment's hesitation. He wasn't really willing to admit that he was fighting the urge to hit out at the minature reptile. He didn't really think that she'd appreciate that... And the dragon was still small enough for him to feasibly leave be. That didn't happen often. Either they were big enough that they could do "bad stuff" to him.. or would be able to in the near future.
Feeling the swat at his tail, Osu spun around again, just as Keanu decided to jump over him. The little Aerandir ducked, flattening himself to the ground with splayed wings. Osu then flopped over onto his side next to Keanu, batting at the other gryphon's foreleg with one paw.

Foenix stifled a laugh at Fae's words. "Um, not exactly. Fae, I'd like you to, um, re-meet Nehanda! She evolved two days ago."
Nehanda, however, was paying no attention at all to the humans. She was too busy hovering over Pueblo, making sure that her friend wasn't hurt. Murmuring low, soothing sounds, she ran her intangient hands over Pueblo's back and wings. It was actually a little unsettling to watch, because Nehanda would occasionally misjudge, and her hands would pass through Pueblo's skin.
Foenix turned back to Fae. "The wisp stage is really odd. She can't manipulate anything solid. Now that she has a mouth, however, I think she's probably capable of talking. She no longer makes those little merps of hers, but I've heard her giggle."

Fae's mouth dropped as she stared at the ghost-looking Nehanda. "You mean...she's a whisp? How long has she been like this?" And as if her hands had a mind of their own, they dug into her satchel that was around her shoulder and pulled her notebook and pencil out. Quickly she sat down in front of the whisp and begun to sketch her, writing down things and asking Foenix questions. "Do you know how long she'll be like this for?"
Pueblo shook dirt and leaves free from her coat and became alert of her new surroundings. She was on the ground...in a forest...there was her keeper and Foenix..and Nehanda as a...a clear ghost thing. Pueblo's ears drooped a little at not being able to nuzzle, or even touch, her friend. Whimpering softly, she pawed through Nehanda's hand that was trying to pet her. Now she looked even more human...and she had hands! >o

The smile on Foenix's face could have brightened a room. "She only turned into a wisp a few days ago. Rahujo came over to start fixing our kitchen from that fire, nd she brought a really beautiful knive and sickle that she had made for Nehanda. As soon as Nehanda touched them, she transformed!"
She sat down next to her friend and watched the two little Aerandir. "According to Aly, she'll be this way for about a week, and then move on to her child stage. In the mean while, the two of us are getting some things together at Aly's request. I'm not . . . really sure what they're for, though."
Nehanda's translucent little face fell at Pueblo's actions. She didn't want her friend to be sad! This transformation of hers was supposed to be a good thing, even if it was pretty annoying that she couldn't touch things. Lowering herself, she wrapped ghostly arms around Pueblo's neck and pretended that she could actually feel the warm fur and feathers. she opened her mouth, and emitted a low, soothing "shhhhh" sound.

Fae nodded and jotted this down. The whisp stage lasts about a week...items are needed to be collected during this time in order to transform into a... She stopped and thought, then added ..child. Stopping for a moment to look up, she stood back up to Foenix's level. "I see... she'll be the first child Aerandir soon!" She grinned widely. "What are these 'items', anyways? I mean, what do you need to get?" A knife and sickle that Rahujo made...hmm.
Pueblo was unsure how to react to this. As soon as she saw translucent arms wrap around her, she shivered and tried to pluck Nehanda's new clear hair. With no luck, though, she kept herself occupied trying to touch her friend. Why couldn't she touch her?! Was...was this her fate soon to come, too..?

Foenix smiled whistfully as she watched Nehanda try to comfort Pueblo. "Oh, lets see. Nehanda and I are preparing several herbal remedies." she held up the sack holding the Betony as evidence. "We also need a chrysanthmum bloom, two pieces of ribbon, and several beads. I have absolutely no idea what Aly wants with those, but . . ." She shrugged. "Who am I to argue? and it's not as if it's a hardship to collect pretty things like those."
Nehanda tried desperately to erase the forlorn look in Pueblo's eyes. Letting go of her friend's neck, she floated away, and began to twist and turn in the air, creating odd pretty little shapes against the trees behind her. There was the same sensation as watching someone blow smoke rings from a pipe; the images were lovely, but elusive.

Fae nodded and listened again thoughtfully. "Those are pretty strange items...I wonder what they're for, too. Hmm..." She begun to look around as her mind started to go over a mental list. "I don't...I don't think I have that flower.." Her hand searched her pockets, and then dove into her satchel. "But I may..have..." Her fingers curled around a few scattered, smooth objects. "A few beads," she grinned and held them out on her hand. There was a long bamboo bead, two dark wooden beads, a one clear blue, plastic bead. "I've been making dream catchers and the sort, so I had a few beads scattered her and there. Here, I hope they help your little 'quest'," she smiled gratfully. Pueblo's ears stood on ends as her sharp eyes watched the little objects float around. Clicking her beak, excited, she flew at and around them, chasing them around the woods in effort to catch them. In a sense...it was fun, yet confusing. While she still didn't understand why she couldn't touch her once solid friend, she was beginning to accept the thought of Nehanda's new form and all of its excitingly new 'features'.

((Thanks, Fae! So pretty!)
Foenix reached out and accepted the beads eagerly. "Oh, they're so pretty! Thanks, Fae! I really wasn't sure where to find something like this anywhere on the island. I thought I'd have to head over to the mainland!" She rolled the beads around in her palm, admiring the smoothness of the wooden bead, and the lovely blue of the plastic one.
Nehanda's mouth bowed up into a big smile as she watched Pueblo cheer up. With a giggle, she rolled over and floated into the nearby woods, peering out at her winged friend from behind a tree. she was clearly inviting the owl/wolf gryphon to play hide-and-seek.

Orian had been wandering around, just enjoying the scenery, when he happened to spot the two women. Walking over slowly, giving them plenty of time to avoid him, he gave a little bow. "Evening Ladies. How are you this fine day?" He gave a little smile to both, looking relaxed, his shirt flapping in the breeze as it was unbuttoned and untucked, showing the scars on his chest and abdomen, and he was wearing a pair of kayki shorts, and no shoes.

((You're welcome! ^_^))
Fae grinned mildly. "It's no problem. I'm glad I could hope- ooh, I can't wait to see how Aly uses those beads now!" She eagerly pipped, but blushed, and settled down again. There was just so much research to record into her data log now...! Noticing the sky, however, as it's orange shade streaked across the clean air, she frowned somewhat dissapointingly and motioned for Pueblo. "Erk...the sun's starting to set.. Abby and I should probably get a move on home. I'm so excited for you, Foenix! Keep me updated," she waved farewell and started to head home.
Pueblo chased Nehanda around in a more comfortable mood now, feeling their friendship there once again like old times. But it didn't seem long until Fae was already calling her home, and with a sad trill, she gave a forlonging stare at her friend, the sadness there how she couldn't nuzzle her. But instead of ill goodbye, Pueblo circled around her new formed friend with a definate peep, and onlylooking over her shoulder once, Pueblo flew home.
