fenix stepped out of the house and looked up at the night sky smiling, he started taking a few steps out towards the city
Coree came out and saw fenix leavig, he ran over to him and grabbed his hand 'can i come with you?' he asked giving Fenix a smile, fenix nodded smiled back and said yes

He didn't really know why he did but some part of him knew that he had to protect her even if it ment treating her like the kid she acted, it's better that she's safe then harmed in any way like tonight. At least this wasn't a really rape or else he would have sent everyone in this club straight to hell for it. He put the safety on his Beretta so that his "twitchy" finiger pulled the trigger by "accident."

Ziggy shook his head. "If you don't see her as a kid, then why are you against having her like you? She's not a kid, in fact...." He smiled a bit. "I think she's almost as old as Zaine...but...who knows?"

Kyoshi slapped his hand on his face. "Why do you continue to say those things? It sounds like your selling her to me or something." He just wasn't going to force anything with someone who deserved much better than this broke hitman whos great at what he does but sucks at dealing with women.

The bass of the music vibrated in his head. He just wanted to have a good time and it turned out to be an unpleasent experience where it almost had Dusk in the most uncompromising situations and almost got someone killed but instead he got someone who can regenerate. "Then how about this, you go right ahead and prove it, while I just focus on making sure nothing happens to her. Deal? Good." His tone sarcastic and his eyes still orange despite the lack of threat.

Ziggy shrugged. "Not my problem when Mist decides he wants to be human and she goes to hm because you're too much of a hard a** to even check to see if I'm being truthful." His eyes sharpened. "Just because you think she can't take the world, doesn't make it right. I've seen both of you fight. She's stronger than you, Kyoshi. She's been through more than you. The only difference? She refuses to face them, and she hides and runs."
Ziggy crouched, now getting annoyed, but trying not to show it. "You need her to get you back on the right track with your emotions. She needs you so that she doesn't finally break and kill herself." He sighed. "Again."

'To hell with the safety.' He thought angrily. In one quick motion, Kysohi reloaded his Beretta and pointed it at Ziggy's head. "Keep talking that kind of sh*t and I'll personally make sure you never regenerate." That just pissed him off that people would say junk like that without even truely knowing. Then again, he rather not let anyone know about his damned past and about how to this day, those damned nightmares keep at him like wild dogs tearing at him. 'Only one knows and thats Dusk.' He hoped it would just stay like that because so help him he would take everyone out. Then what caught his attention was the last thing he said about Dusk. "What do you mean...again?" He didn't want to ask him but trying to get anything out of Dusk was as hard as pulling teeth, only he rather pull teeth then the do the former. He kept his gaze steady on the man as he kept the barrel pointed steady in the middle of his head.

Ziggy's eyes hardened. He stood up and looked at the other man in the eyes. "First, I know more than you think I do. I'm a spy, it's how I work. I worked that b***h, so i know more about you than you would like. No, I won't say anything because I'm not stupid enough to. When people rat on one another, it comes back on them ten fold." The blue haired man sighed and ran his hand though his hair, looking like a younger Zaine.
"The reason I'm pushing so hard on this is so that she doesn't break. Dusk needs you more than you need her, I know that." The two locked eyes again. "That woman has poisoned herself, shot herself, gotten into fights that she shouldn't have won, pissed off people just to die, and...when none of that worked, threw herself off of the cliff. The one where her mother is buried."

His heart froze at those chilling words. He let another round of bullets hit the blue haired man. He couldn't say anything to express himself but shooting someone helped release some tension in him. "Why me then? Of all the damn people in this f*cking place, why me? I'm a damn reck. She doesn't need my kind of destructiveness in her life." 'No. She needed someone who will take better care of her when she needs it without yelling, slamming doors or walking away from her.' "And I don't want you nosing around my business from here on out." He didn't need this guy knowing about his past. It was still to painful. He reloaded his gun and pointed it again at Ziggy.

Fenix and Coree walked for a while untill they reached a park, Fenix sat on a nearby bench while Coree went off and ran around the small field, Fenix looked up at the stars 'pretty...' he said for the first time noticing that there was something nice about this city, the stars weren't blocked off by all the pollution caused by factories and cars, since most factories were closed down and hardly anybody could afford a car around here

Ziggy tried his hardest not to attack the man in front of him, but, he cracked his back, the bullets falling to the ground as he regenerated. "Why you? I don't know. Zaine picked you, I'm just following what my insane cousin wanted. From what I know? You care for her on a deeper level than me or Mist. And we're the only other two that can take care of her now that Zaine's dead."
He then glared. "And I told you, I wasn't nosing your damn business. That b***h down there told me to track you, or she would do something to Dusk. I didn't have a choice."

Kyoshi closed his eyes and counted to ten. He was beginning to lose his grip on his temper. That stupid vixen. That disgusting female to ever grace this forsaken earth. He was going to have her head as a trophy for this. "How much did she pay you to find out about me? Because you don't know half of the sh*t. You did have a choice...Shoot the damn B*tch." He ran a hand through his unkempt hair. His eyes going red with his temper. He then thought that it has been far too long for Dusk to be M.I.A. It didn't take that long to get a drink, especially with the skills Dusk had. It was unsettling to know that anyone could just snatch her up even....'Oh no.' He left that stupid betraying vixen out there with Dusk in plain sight. His reloaded gun went to his side.
