You may not sneak attacks......but I say there are samurai that do....I know from personal experience.......and as for me, yes I'm very different. I do not like to sneak around unless it's the only liable solution. I'd rather attack head on so that my opponent can see whom the cause of thier demise will be.....oh and don't get me wrong....I'm not exactly praising my kind either," she stated plainly. Listening to what she said Red considered this for a moment. "Yes you are correct not all samurai live by the code of honor. That is why I believe the crab clan was destroyed by that elemental attack awhile ago. A samurai without honor is as a flower without the sun. Neither can grow to their full potential. So tell me why did you become ninja?" Selysia debated on whether or not to answer him as an unreadable emotion flashed across her eyes. "It wasn't my choice...my mother, in a feigned attempt to save me from my stepfather, took me to an old ninja master to train. He first refused because I was female, so my mother took her own life in front us leaving him basically the option to either dispose of me or train me," she replied. "So....why did you become samurai?" she asked. Red's face flushed a little as he thought back to when he started his training. "I was not born in Nippon. My parents ship crashed here when I was a child. I was the only survivor of the crash. I roamed about Nippon from place to place, but no one wanted a foreinger in there town. Eventually I made my way to the desert. There the scorpion clan found me & saw how determined I was to not perish in the desert. They took me in as one of them & trained me to be samurai." Selysia dropped her glare toward the ground in deep thought at what he had said. "Intriguing that a samurai and a ninja have a few things in common. Both had hard paths to traverse and both determined to survive," she stated. "Yes there does seem to be similarities between us. I for one would never have imagined having so much in common with a ninja. You're very different from all other ninja I've met & fought." Red stopped & thought for a moment about what he was about to say. "Perhaps we aren't enemies after all then."

"Perhaps not....I wouldn't have attacked you anyway...unless you provoked an attack or commited some form of injustice," Selysia explained and then looked toward where Gaijin and the other samurai where fighting. "I also don't like to fight to prove that I'm a better fighter; it is pointless and a complete waist of time that can be spent to fight those that would corrupt and plunder,"

Gtting bored at the battle and also very hungery she deside to go and find something to eat, she stand and streches with a great scream. She starts to walk to find Selysia to tell her that she has to go.

*azrael was thrown back by the attack but landed on all fours. seeing as he was down there, he got into the kitsuni stance, releasing a little of the spirit to fight. he dashed at the ninja stealthy like a cheetah and pounced at his opponent.

azrael the reaper *azrael was thrown back by the attack but landed on all fours. seeing as he was down there, he got into the kitsuni stance, releasing a little of the spirit to fight. he dashed at the ninja stealthy like a cheetah and pounced at his opponent. Quickly jumping into the air out of reach the ninja produced a dagger. Coming down towards the samurai with dagger aimed at his neck.

he was getting more and more like a wild kitsune. however, his kitsune spirit was not going to take control. for this samurai was not at all angered. this battle was quite enjoyable in fact.
he growled loudly as he got more wild.

azrael the reaper *azrael leaped up into a tree and leaped at his opponent like a panther pouncing upon its prey. he was getting more and more like a wild kitsune. however, his kitsune spirit was not going to take control. for this samurai was not at all angered. this battle was quite enjoyable in fact. he growled loudly as he got more wild. Missing his target the ninja lands on the ground. Seeing the samurai again jump at him Gaijin attacks anew. Jumping at his adversary Gaijin chooses a roundhouse kick as his next attack move.

*azrael is thrown back toward a tree. at the last moment, he swung his legs around and leaped off the tree and went flying back at the ninja, boken pointed toward him.

Gaijin dodged the boken attack, but not before it hit his arm. Pain shot thru his arm. This angered him. The ninja stood his ground & awaited the samurai's next attack.

azrael the reaper *azrael got into the tai jinku stance and waited for his opponent. Seeing the samurai wasn't approaching Gaijin attacked. Running at him with ninja-to in hand he prepared to strike.

*just as the ninja got close azrael dashed to the side, ran up a tree, and landed on the ninja. he jabbed his boken down hard into the ninja's skull.

azrael the reaper *just as the ninja got close azrael dashed to the side, ran up a tree, and landed on the ninja. he jabbed his boken down hard into the ninja's skull. Gaijin's cowl torn from the blow he could feel blood start to trickle down his head. He quickly rolled over knocking the samurai onto the ground. Standing up Gaijin pointed his ninja-to at him. "Well done." He said.

*azrael swung his leg suddenly, to knock the ninja-to aside just for a moment so as to roll over. he got up quickly and dashed at his opponent and grabbed his bloody boken out of the ninja's skull. as he did so, there was more than a trickle as a large gash still remained where the boken had once been. he got to the tai jinku stance, watching to see what his opponent would do next.

Taking what looked like sand out of a pouch which hung on his belt, Gaijin poured it on his head. Suddenly the blood stopped flowing like a river & his open wound healed. "Healing dust is such a wonderful thing wouldn't you say?" Without another word the ninja struck out at the samurai with his ninja-to.
