Hi Casondra. :3 Your art is very pretty, and I love your style, but I have one niggling thing; but you got the proportions wrong waist-down. Please forgive my awful mashup, but I find it easier to make a visual representation. I pushed the butt in and up, the shortened the legs.

Please don't hate on me for pointing this out. gonk

Please don't hate on me for pointing this out. gonk I don't hate you, but your proportions are far more incorrect than mine, and I think it was a little strange to give poor advice when you didn't even do it correct yourself. But that is being said crudely, because I am not sure how to say that nicely, so I just said it. Refer to: As you can see, my proportions are only slightly off, where as yours are an entire head off. The average sized body is 8 heads, anime actually uses 8-9 heads. I think what may have thrown you off is the fact that the avatar's right leg is bent. You can see how I measured my proportions, by measuring her left side which is completely straight. I tweak my proportions because I prefer smaller rib cages and I like larger hips. But I always check my proportions for length, in fact I checked my proportions about 9 times. I hope you don't take what I said offensively, I have poor social skills and suck at expressing myself.

I wasn't taking the hair's bulk into account when I was measuring the height. I didn't think people did. o-o; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v602/GroovyTeacosy/Untitled-1-3.png
Have you noticed photobucket sucks with copying the links lately?
Anyway, the little marks in blue are mine. Wonky, I know, my stupid tablet is dying. I'm going to get a friend to re-solder the cable soon.
Perhaps it's the twisting which is making it look wrong to me, I don't know. redface

Please don't start this up. gonk
It may be technically correct, but it just doesn't look right to me. I made a quick and dirty modification that you obviously weren't happy with. Ok, I'm wrong you're right. We're not going to see eye to eye on this, so I'll just leave it there.

-Shrug- So be it. Everyone views anatomy differently, but there's not that much room for stylizing anatomy or making errors.
Your guides would be correct if I drew my heads fat instead of long. The modification doesn't really matter to me, nor did it hurt my feelings or make me upset. But, I do like helping others and I see what you're trying to say as trying to help me.
I appreciate your help, but rules and guidelines like I said, do not have much room for skewing. There's not much to see eye to eye about, and I'm surprised you're upset about it.
What I gave you was the guide lines I used while drawing it, that headshape is the actual sketch of the head I used to draw this piece. The guides you gave made the head much shorter cutting off pieces of the chin and the skull, but this is how you saw her head being, which to you is correct. Each person views things differently.
When I look at the image you made for me, it looks like the head is gigantic compared to the body. This would work better for short girls. But when I made this I had super model in mind. As in 5'8" - 6 ft.
I am sorry if you took offense to what I said. I have made errors with parts of the body, but it doesn't have to do with the overall length. I appreciate your help.

I was going to post the WIP of this but like.. uhh yeah I never got around to actually saving the WIP, so I'll just post the finished version. Disclaimer, yes the anatomy is inaccurate, and I enjoyed screwing up the rules, makes her cuter. :3

Commission I'm currently working on @_@ I really like the idea of clothing patterns being similar to the background.
