Isabelle The Barbers Daughter
Come on gang! We have a mystery to slove!

Isabelle swiveled on the spot to see the beam of light shooting from the sky through the unnatural looking cloud cover. It may be a signal, maybe something else, but whatever it was she was going to find out.
"I Don't know, but it has caught my attention... Should we have a look? Or ehh, well we can't go to the city hall now... Come on, we should check this out." She said with a lifted mood. Isabelle nodded at taint, who shot up towards the rooftops for a better look.
"It, I... I don't actually know... It is falling on the grave yard whatever it is. Shizuru, I think you should come with us, I feel you will just have to believe us just now.! Said Taint as she fell back down onto Isabelle's shoulder. She whispered into Isabelle's ear, her smoke fluctuating between blue and red, probably something about wanting to drive her axe into places the sun has never seen, but it was too quiet for anyone else to make out.
I agree, you'll be safer with us..." Isabelle added. She felt weird saying safer, she hated safer, safer was boring, safer had no blood, but of course it was probably a lie...

((Giyari, let's bump into N.A.T.A's character(s)? Oh, that soudns like a Scooby Doo line in your description thing!))

"Safer?" Shizuru narrowed her eyes again. How could anything be safer when it didn't make sense? Demons don't exist! She frowned, but was curious about the light. "Fine."

Just then, she saw someone in a big fancy naval hat wander into the area. "Who's that?" she asked. She couldn't see the specifis of the hat or the man's hair color because of the darkness.

((Awesome! Thanks guys. It's always more fun to play with others.))

It had been a trite trickier trying to navigate a dark city, can't imagine how many bodies he'd stumbled over or into. He'd clocked a guy pretty hard because he ran right into Arthur. His only guide was the light ahead. And it was simply amazing that everyone was running away from it, not the least bit curious what the hell it was. So naturally when he spotted others going the same direction as he, he took notice. "I take it you're going to see what that is as well?" Arthur points to the lights. "Any clue as to what it is?" He'd go find out with or with out anyone there, but company is company.

All of this was far too strange and the former pirate was considering that if things got too dangerous he and his crew could raise anchor and sail out at the first breeze their sails could catch. Maybe band a bunch of ships together and build a floating island that travels the world's seas at will....Wishful thinking of course.

Pandemonium was everywhere and you'd think the end of the world had arrived at chronopolis.

Isabelle The Barbers Daughter
AHH! Get out of there!!

As the pair, Isabelle and Taint, rounded the corner to find the sea guard moving towards them from a different street. He looked a bit short to be of any importance, but the hat made up for it with the stupid plume of feathers making his silhouette look like a deformed make-up brush. Not that he would have looked any more important to either of them being taller, he would still be missing the demonic mouth of fangs and the spiraling horns together with leathery wings.
"Taint, try to keep out of this ones way he looks military, I will allow you to hide in my clothes. Do not try anything weird..." Said Isabelle quietly, and with what sounded like disgust with being in skin contact with taint.
"Oh~! As you 'command' master" Replied Taint cheekily before diving down Isabelle's collar and taking up residence in her undergarments.
"Gah! You shitty Imp you I'll..." She began, but it was too late to act as The seaman was too close. If she was seen to be acting suspicious again it might not brush off as easily as it did with Shizuru.
"Yes, It has indeed caught our curiosity. Are you heading too? You would be welcome to accompany us." She said politely to the stupid looking young man with his ridiculous hat and coat and his massive ugly eyebrows. Isabelle usually didn't like people, at least the non demented ones., they were too.. Too goody goody, not enough murder...
"Wow, check out that shitty hat..." Taint whispered from somewhere inside Isabella's clothing.

Shravra the metalsmith
Why do I think she won't stay put?

The city was in chaos. Along nearly every street there were people running around trying to find others that they knew. Carrying Forest again for safety was Shravra, going in the direction of his shop for both rest and weapons. The simple sword that he had been carrying had been given to the skeleton before it had began defending the outer walls. In his hand was a small globe of fire that he was using to light his way along the dark streets. Finding that he knew how far away he was from his shop, he set Forest down. ”Forest. When we reach my shop I want you to stay in the top floor for safety. I'm going to go on a little adventure. I expect this place to still be here when I get back.” Pushing his door open, Forest scampered up the stairs and out of sight for the moment. Collapsing on his chair, Shrava picked up his bottle of firewhisky and a new leather flask to store it in. He would probably need it. There was just the matter of a weapon to take with him. Several minutes later he stood outside his door kitted out in a small variety of weapons. Two knifes in his belt and a long wooden pole which housed twin blade inside itself. No time better than this to be scared. Onwards to the light then. Steeling himself for whatever he would find, Shravra set off towards the mysterious light.

Ian the Archer
Retreat? Not for me. Thatta way.

”TO THE CASTLE!!” So it had fallen to this. Retreat from the fallen gate. The darkness that had fallen was only adding to the chaos and confusion that was already in place. Ian however was well suited to the dark. Ripping off his goggles to let extra light reach his eyes to make seeing easier, he watched as most of the attacking force erupted into anarchy. Unable to see anything, they had resorted to wildly slashing in hope that the person in front of them was the enemy. Most were not. For once, things at the East gate seemed to be going their way, but still the enemy soldiers pressed forward in their masses. The only thing that the lack of light had helped was the escape of the soldiers on their home ground. No better place to hide than the city you had grown up in after all. Deciding not to follow the rest of them back into the city, Ian took his chance to leap over the rooftops towards the light falling onto the north of the city. Something told him that it would be worth it.

((Meh. It's still quite slow going. You'll catch up fine.))

((Not sure what to post.))

That made the interested people a group of four if Taint even counted as a person. Shizuru nodded along with Isabelle's response. "Yes, looks suspicious to me. Who are you? I'm Dr. Shizuru Watanabe." She looked at Isabelle and frowned. Then, she looked back at the guy with the funny hat. "Careful not to trip over your head, sir."

It wasn't that Arthur didn't realize that what he was wearing was flashy and to some extremes flamboyant. He just chose to ignore it. It was more interesting this way. If they decided to have the most intelligent thought to insult him, he had legitimate grounds to politely curb stomp them with the best of intentions. Insulting one of the king's naval officers? That's more than enough grounds to get thrown into the brig, or have one's tongue cut out, or get something rammed down one's throat side ways. Oh the possibilities were endless. Arthur LOVED positions of power.

The hat never really bothered him, and neither did the coat...when it was his own. "I could warn you of the same doc." A snide return. Sometimes Arthur really couldn't help himself. He tips his hat in a sloppy manner because it wasn't meant to be in respect. "Well since you lot aren't running the other way like all the other scared little shi~good, citizens in this city..." He corrected himself although some what reluctantly (and through gritted teeth.). ".. I'd label you as either plain stupid or gutsy." He strode past them. " Either way I'm sure we'll find out won't we?" No point in asking them what that shiny pillar of light was and wasting time they probably didn't have. They hadn't a clue either. Go figure. That's what he gets for having the tiniest bit of faith in 'landlubbers', to steal a trite label. And he wasn't even going to entertain his first impressions of them, tempting as it was he had to stay focused. They were headed the same direction as he, and that had to count for something right?

((Just to close the case on the investigator and move him away unless Giyari has other plans.))

The investigator never had a chance to response to the appearance of a small demon or to Isabelle's cover story. It sounded suspicious to him, but since Zion was clouded in mystery, he didn't know what to believe. At the moment, he was intent on getting to the town hall, even the people around him. When he saw the Sea Guard with the flamboyant hat, he was going to ask if something had happened at the harbor.

Unfortunately, his plans were butchered by the incoming of chaos coming from the East Gate. In the darkness, soldiers of both Eurosian and Chronopolitan sides were still attempting to fight it out or just running about confused.

The investigator was separated from the rest of the people save Felecia. Unable to make out the others in the darkness, he could only sigh and pull Felecia with him to the town hall direction. He had been born and raised in Chronopolis. If he couldn't navigate the city in the dark, it would just be sad.

((If there is enough interest, we could just ghost everyone over to the cemetery.))

((I think that the Rp is dead. In my mind, it was because an entire group disappeared, though EKA showed up again. Post up the summary coz I'm interested to know what would have happened.))

((The other option is, turn the setting into a multiverse. Same setting, different characters and plot. It could even be set in a different time period like Malroth has suggested.))
