As the man approached, Ainsley raised her head meeting his eyes. His face seemed to be covered by a mixture of a Greek tragedy and a jester mask. The effect was unsettling, though no more than any other employees. As she stared into his gaze, a sudden feeling of pity came over her: it was as if he was trapped underneath the mask. The discomfort evaporated from her eyes, and care attempted to shine through the brown orbs.

She followed him in awkward silence, chewing on her lip as she tried to decide whether to talk or not. Settling on speaking, she gave him a shy smile, “Hello. I guess you already know this, but I’m Ainsley.” It came out half monotone from fatigue, as the poor girl looked dead on her feet. Each step towards her new room seemed impossible, and she pondered asking to sleep in the hallway for the night. He could leave a map so she would reach her room without any problems. Yawning widely, she rubbed her eyes cutely. She should have slept more in the limo. If only Lysander had left her alone. The mere thought of him brought a blush to her cheeks, though she was too tired to notice it.

There actually is a god. With the girl possibly more dazed than her, Sasha knew that this wouldn’t take long. She gave her a kind smile as she rested the pole over her shoulder, “This way.” She led the way in silence, taking a faster pace than she meant to. For once, sex wasn’t even remotely in her mind. Fatigue had taken over. Though there were many nights that she had been awake at this hour, it apparently took more energy to be vertical than horizontal.

It did not take her long to reach Anna’s door, and she opened it quickly, stepping in and holding it for her. Her eyes scanned the room, remembering the letter she needed to leave. Deciding on leaving it sticking out of her bag, she turned back to her charge, “Do you think you’ll need anything, Anna?” Her voice remained soothing, though partially distant. Mentally, she pictured a map of the mansion. Zenith’s room was closest, if she took the servant’s passage, but that was not a fight she wanted to deal with. She decided on Alix’s, figuring the gay man would not mind her company for simple sleep.

OOC: I wanna make things creative from my character. Let's make him crazier than he already seems! >=D

Leo stood at the top of a large cliff, looking out over a large valley. He looked out as the bright sun beamed down on him. It was unusually cool for what the climate should be. "But, that doesn't matter now does it, Leo?" Leo turned. There he was. The same person who always came to him. Derrek. "So, what is it this time? Any fortune cookie, confusious crap, or are you gonna cut to the chase and just tell me your wonderful wisdom?" Leo blurted harshly. He wasn't in the mood for mind games. He was tired, and when Derrek was there, it ment he didn't get much sleep. Derrek smiled. "I see that you have new visitors in the home under Dakota's watchful eye." Derrek made the last bit more sarcastic than need be. "Don't you dare speak of Miss Dakota that way!" Leo shot back. Derrek had a grin of higher understanding on his face. Leo grimaced. "I thought you would have gotten it by now, Leo. You are much smarter than that." He bent down and picked up a rock, seeming uninterested, bored. Leo became irritated. "Just tell me, God Damnit!" Leo shouted. Derrek's eyes snapped on Leo. He looked playful, now. Derrek stood and dropped the rock. "I'm apart of your head. Not an echo of the real Derrek. Hell, I even know I'm not the real Derrek. But, I am the real Leo. Or, atleast, apart of the real Leo." Derrek juggled the rock, passing it between his hands. "What I think is what you think. I just pull it out of certain depths of your head better than you do. You created me to help you with your thinking, subconsciously." Leo shook is head. "Where are we?" Derrek looked thoughtful for a moment. "No where in paticular. Just a setting, nothing more, nothing less. More like part of a memory, but it's irrelavent." Leo looked down. "So, why are you here?"

Leo sat up in his bed, in a cold sweat. For a second, he breathed. Then, he got up and walked to his bathroom, opened his med cabinet and pulled out a bottle of vicadine. He popped two, then slipped back into bed.

Sam got to the room fast. Luckily Ainsley's room was the closest one to the front. He opened the door and put her things inside. He turned to leave, slipping the letter onto the desk. As he walked out he could feel the flash of one of those weird memroy like dreams. He got as far as down the hall before the dream took over and he fell to the groumnd, out cold.

Zenith nodded silently, relieved that Will had understood his sequence of muddled charade-like gestures. He grinned as the man retired to his room. He stood for a few moments, letting his thoughts compose themselves. There was one more thing to do before he could relax for the night, the letter which Will was to read when he awoke later. He pulled the small envelope from his waistcoat pocket, and slid it discretely under the door. With that taken care of, he strolled casually down the hallway, heading down through the lobby and to the servant quarters.

He was unfocused, but not fatigued enough to sleep. Stuck in a sleepless yet clouded limbo which so often resulted from his unstructured sleeping pattern. At least if his sleep somewhat coincided with his internal clock he would be less dazed, but as it was he would need some more caffeine to come back to his senses. He sighed as he reached the top of the stairs which lead down to the servant rooms. He was far too dependant on coffee. After a moment he arrived at his room door, and pulled out a key to unlock it. What happened between that and the first sip of the steaming elixir was a blur, but soon enough he felt alertness returning to his mind. He sat quietly on the side of his bed, sipping at his coffee. He wouldn't sleep, even without the coffee, but at least now he was focused enough to make something productive of his time. But what to do?

[[Hello new person! ninja Sorry that Zenith isn't going to sleep like everyone else btw. It would just be uncharacteristic. He can always just sit around for a few hours until the next day. xd ]]

((Thank you everyone. ^-^ I feel so loved.))
Rushing, gracefully, around the library, the librarian began replacing books. Someone had haphazardly stuffed books on random shelves; a major irritation to the Librarian. Some of the books needed repair, others needed so massive TLC. Stopping for a breather, Lucero enjoyed the light scent of roses. The visibility in the library was dropping, since the sun was beginning to set and light was fading. Darkness was beginning to overtake him, a sensation he enjoyed.
"Well?" The teen said as he inspected his handywork. All of the books were in a mostly aphabetical order. There were some mishaps in his organization, but the light was nearly gone so he would work on that later.
The library consisted of a small alcove opposite of the entrance. To the left of the door were aisles of books that lead to a dead end. To the right were also aisles but they ended at two doors. One lead to the librarian's office, consisting of files and papers and a cluttered mess, that Lucero was avoiding. The second lead to his room a small room which had a soft bed and cozy atmosphere, another room he had yet to customize. His focus right now was the library. At the very end of the library, on either side of the alcove, were two spiral staircases that lead to a second and third floor of books, each with their own aisles and corridors the librarian had yet to explore.
Lucero approached one of the desks and took a drink from a cup. The cup was filled with a tasteful tea, called Herbal Jasmine Tea. Upon drinking his fill, the teen went back to work. The desk was in the alcove, which was filled with a heavenly light, from the setting sun. The sort of dome ceiling was brilliantly illuminated. In the very center of the library was a diamond chandelier; it was to be another of the Librarian's numerous tasks. The library wasn't neglected, it just needed some attending to, which was why he was hired. Lucero had always wondered if Dakota had browsed through this area before. Miss Dakota was an amazing women, who easily put up with his quirks.
Turning his attention back towards the library, his mind suddenly clicked.
"Oh." He groaned. "I was suppose to go help Miss Dakota with the guests." Taking his mug to his office, Lucero dashed in and set his coffee down on a stack of papers. Proceeding towards the door, the teen looked outside. The lights were all turned off and the corridor was silent. He had missed it.
Biting his lip, the teen returned to his bed room, grabbing his tea on the way back. Sitting on his bed, the teen brushed his hair. The waves of black were soft and silky; a girl's dream.
"I'll talk to her in the morning." He said, Lucero got up and turned off his light; beginning to head to bed.

Waking with a gasp of horror, Lucero was in a dead heat. Sweat was just dripping off his face. Ever since he fell asleep, he had been having a nightmare.
Miss Dakota came in, warned him that people were going to be coming through and if they didn't find what they wanted, in a timely manner, she would have his head. He agreed and so began to morning tradition of getting up and preparing for the day. It was such a good day, until someone knocked at his door. Opening it, he saw one of the guests looking for a book. Throwing on some cloths, he went to work, helping them search for the book. However, there was a major difference. The library was different, the shelves were aligned differently, and books were everywhere. After five minutes, the guest got up and stormed away. Lucero began picking up the library, but then another guest came. This time, they were able to find what they had come here for, but left unhappily saying that it wasn't what he was looking for and that the Librarian was of no help. Panicking further, the teen rushed around trying to organize the books in a way that looked offical. Then, some one came in, asking for the Head Librarian. Rushing to the man's side, Lucero asked what he wanted. The reply was that he wanted a tour. Agreeing, he began to show the man around the library. If it wasn't the books laying everywhere, it would have been the musty old scent that the man didn't like, and began grumbled about. Suddenly another guest burst in, demanding, quite rudely, for a specific book. Compling, Lucero began to search through the mess for the book, with the guest obnxiously tapping their foot, and the man grumbling about the wait. Eventually, Lucero was forced to say, that someone either checked the book out before him and hasn't returned it yet or they did not have that specific book. Howling in rage, the youngester ran away, but not before kicking a shelf, sending them toppling like domino's and sending books everywhere. The man left, saying something about 'such a beautiful library destroyed by such a pitful librarian and a bad rating'. Crying in agony, the teen was subject to another blow when Miss Dakota came in screaming and howlering about the mess he had created of her library and how he would never get another job anywhere. It was truly frighting.
Fearful of the next day, the teen got up, incapable of returning to sleep. He was too worried about tomorrow and to see if this was 'his library'. Changing out of his pajama's, the teen dashed into the library.
Everything appeared to be the same. Running over to a shelf, he ran over the titles, making sure they were in alphbetical order.
Heaving a sigh of relieve, the teen clasped one hand around his, slim, midsection and the other to that elbow. Everything looked to be inorder, and it was still very late, many hours before the break of dawn and the rise of the next day. 'Such a horrid nightmare.' He said jittery, unable to return to sleep. "Looks like I might as well get back to work." He said. Lucero returned to his room.
There he got some cloths and a towel. Proccedding silently down the library, the lithe form moved swiftly towards his bathroom, in one of the long corridors. Taking a turn, he entered the bathroom. Everything was done in black, a color that so greatly contrasted with his pale, ghostly, complexion. Opening the glass shower door, he stepped inside. Turning the shower on, the dual faucet heads sprayed their water, and began pouring steam into the bathroom. Lucero was quick and jumped out before getting wet. Flipping a switch, he played some light music. It were some songs from the Pirates of the Caribbean sound track that he liked. They were very orchestral, which he liked and sort of celtic. Stripping off his cloths, the teen got in.
The waves of heat easily overtook him, releasing all of the pent up emotions. They were drained away in the maelstrom of water. Pure content began to well up inside of him, taking the place of the nightmare. Turning off the water for a sec, he dried off his hands, turned on the fan, to drain away the steam and lit one of the black candles in the room, filling it with a dark, romatic, scent. Then, he got back in, simply drinking in the warmth. Grumbling, unhappily, he took a bottle of shampoo and poured the contents into his hand. It was like a black sludge, but very nourishing and almost completely extracted from the enviromnent; no artificial, synthesized crap inside, just how he liked it. Scrubbing his hair with the liquid, Lucero made sure every inch of his hair was cleaned. He didn't want his hair being a bother today, or rather tomorrow. One of the things he hated was having it all matted to his head or clumped together with sweat and persiperation. When it was bubbly, he rinsed it away. The water sort of massaged his scalp and further relaxed his tired mind. The music reached his ears, providing joy for him to wallow in as he took the body soap and began to lather. The fast paced song began to drift into a slower one. The dynamics grew very majestic and regal. Lucero would have been a lit frightened if it weren't for the fact he was in a part of the library tucked far away from the general public and surronded by soundproof walls.
"Yup, today's an orchestral day." Commenting, he continued soaping up his body. After he was finished, the teen rinsed away the suds. Turning off the water, Lucero simply stretched out, letting the water drip off before drying off. The cold nipped at his body but that too felt good as he opened the door and was greeted by a wall of cold air. Grabbing the towel off the obsidan counter, the teen pressed the cloth to his hair and then to his back, places were the water collected. Nodding his head, a second comment was made. "Today will be a black day as well." Throwing some undergarments on, the teen slipped into his favorite shirt/jacket. It was a black jacket looking shirt with decorative buttons on the front and floral lace around the collor and sleeves. He also wore a matching pair of black pants. Blowing out the candle, and turning off the music, he prepared to leave.
Taking his cloths, he left the bathroom and began to make his way back to his room. Lucero's movement's were similiar to that of a ghost. His steps were so fluid and soundless off the entire solid wood flooring. Since there were no creaky spots, atleast that he knew about, he moved confident that he wouldn't make a sound. On his way back, Lucero noticed that he had barely lost any time. It was still very late, and few people should be up. 'Oh well, nothing to do about it.'
Entering his room, he placed the pajama's in a hamper in the corner to be washed later. Sitting next to his desk, he withdrew a bottle of black nail polish and procceded to paint them. It matched his attire much more fully when he did it. After a few minutes of letting them dry, he returned to the library's common and sat at one of the many desks littering the floors. 'I'll just take a small break.' He said, placing one arm on the desk, and then placing his head on top of that. A curtian of black hair blotted out the faint light of the moon, letting him drift to sleep in peace.

Nicky sighed as she relaxed against the wall. When she was taking care of Aya she had switched personalities. She headed right for her room to change clothes. "This is... odd." She said under her breath. She changed into a pale yellow dress. Now she couldn't sleep and didn't know what to do. She sat down quietly at the table that was in her room and put her head down. There is where she fell asleep without realizing it.

((Daah! I'm sorry! I was busy acting like a slut and being tortured on stage! And...and...and I was flirting with my best friend, who is a girl but was playing a male role, and...and stuff! Yeah! Anyway, I'll be getting back into the swing of things now.))

Yoh thought about the way she'd said it, then brushed it aside. "The coffee cup. It wanted to see you, and I just couldn't say no." It was meant as a joke, and he hoped Dakota wasn't too tired to understand. If it had been him before coffee, he wouldn't have gotten it.

~!~

Anna followed Sasha silently, questions clumping together, but never quite forming correctly. As she got to her room, Sasha asked her if she needed anything. Anna wanted to say, 'Uh, yeah? Maybe a few answers would be nice.' but she didn't. Instead, she just shook her head and removed a roll of clothes that she'd bundled together(she was one of those people who couldn't sleep without wearing a certain whatever-she-wore-for-sleeping-in) and waited patiently for the woman to leave.

Dakota looked up over her glasses and 'ha'ed. "Yes because the coffee cup talks to only a 'special' few people." She said it as a joke that was ment as a statement like 'if your going to joke with me you better be able to put up with my joke back'. She looked back at her paper, uninterested in it, but needing to get it done none the less.

((Flan, you just made me feel like my life is normal...thanks. And welcome Magiking, I like that we have a librarian now.))

Recognizing the hint, Sasha discreetly set the envelope on top of Anna's bag. Considering the clothing in her arms, it was doubtful she would find it until morning. Even if she did though, she was probably too tired to bother reading it tonight anyway. "Good night, I will see you in the morning," she said softly before leaving the room quickly.

In the solitude of the hall, the dark haired woman yawned widely before heading towards the servants' quarters. Not particularly caring which one she choose, Sasha knocked on the first door she came to. Though she had never spent the night there, she believed this room to be Alix's. She waited a few moments before figuring he was sleeping since he did not have a guest to take care of, and then began down the hall once more. It sucked to sleep alone, but she guessed it would be better than wandering the halls for a partner.

Ainsley looked around her new room, suddenly feeling very alone. The man who had led her here seemed almost cold. What was wrong with him? Trying to brush it off, Ainsley decided she was going to try and unpack tonight. That always made her feel as if she belonged in someplace new. She did not bring a lot of clothes, so within minutes her backpack was empty. She had added small touches around the room to make it more personal.

There were a multitude of photos scattered about the room: one of her mother on her nightstand, a few more on decorating her dresser, and another balancing on her window frame. With tender care, Ainsley spread her most prized possession amongst the frames on her dresser. They were delicate, glass figurines of a wolf pack that her grandmother had given her a few years back. There were a couple of pups roughhousing, and a few adults in various positions. The entire decorating session lasted maybe ten minutes, and afterward the young girl pulled her night gown out of a drawer, slipping it on. Within moments after laying down onto the soft mattress, the young girl fell asleep.
