I picked up where Scarlet stopped, "She was going to meet him a second time in a village near the old Rose Manor, Helena's manor, but instead of meeting Axel, well, she ran into me. The three of us, me your father and your mother, where, well I would describe it as a quest, see I had recently observed and studied a phenomina called ta'veren, basically something all 'heroes' have, the world seems to bend around their destiny, forcing it if it must, sadly...I know this well. Anyway I was out scouting for a clue as to what we where supposed to do, that's when I ran into Scarlet." I blushed under my long black scarf remembering her eyes, my first sight of her, "Things started off....rocky, I mean to spare you the details but Scarlet would probably tell you anyway so, well I was hitting on her, alot, well we started off, not knowing exaclty where we where going, it was fairly placant, then your father got captured by demons under Scarlet's father's control, called trollocs, big bad things, so soon after he didn't come back I made a portal to him to see what was up, a portal that lead right infront of a few trolloc guards. Well I got thrown into a prison cell, your father came through with a little rebelion of his and we had ourself a fair scuffle with the guards, Axel handed control of them over to me, something about leading too many wars before, anyway we continued on with our journey, her father kept trying to corrupt me, even tried to name me his heir for awhile." I pulled out the reconstructed white half of the mask and held it up for him to see, "Eventualy, your father made himself another rebellion, this time against the alchemist council, they won that too. Then, him and Helena left, elloped would be a better word, they dissapeared for 20 years, as me and Scarlet let the resistance agaisnt Death into his own lair. We won the day after Scotts, my second-in-command and friend, accidentally, yes, accidentally, became the new Death, he is still reining, well then I decapitated Scarlet's father with this here sword and things quieted down. Um...Scarlet...mind telling the rest?" I got some water to wet my throat and came back.

Scarlet continued as Drako took his hat off to reveal shocking red hair as he walked to the kitchenet to grab some water.
As soon as Drako was out of the room Scarlet continued.
"After that battle,things were really peaceful and Drako wanted my hand in.....well....you know.Unfortuantly,the peace didn't stay very long.some more wars started and Axel was taking care of his new family to really give a care anymore.It was around that time that I found out that Drako had found some blueprints for some ideas that his father, by the way was a scientific genious for his time, had some things that the goverment was trying to get their hands on."Scarlet shifted unconfortably but continued.
"Word got around a few weeks later that Drako was killed in the line of duty.I..............I.............."
Scarlet couldn't continue.It was just too painful to try to remember.
Drako had finaly come back into the room but Scarlet gasped in shock and actually fell off the medel chair that she was sitting on.
"Drako?Did something happen?"

Scarlet stumbled while trying to stand up and as soon as she did she bolted.Drako took after her and eventually pinned her to an aluminum wall.
She cringed under his beautiful orange eyes.
She squeaked," I'm sorry! I was just trying to save you but it didn't work!"
Drako leaned in on her and she finally let it go.
She kissed him hard on the lips.It surprised him and she then spilled the news.
"Drako?.........welcome to the family!"

Scarlet hugged him back equily hard and whispered in his ear,
"It is as simple as that!I didn't want to tell you because you would hate me for the rest of your life and I didn't want to say anything but god I have missed you!"
Scarlet let go and eyed his appreance.
"You know that they give you look really handsome?"
She was playing off of what he had told her when hers decided to show up unexpectedly!

Scarlet sighed!
"A lot of people don't understand me as it is!I couldn't face rejection again.It's to hard on me.But yes! My father was right! You really couldn't escape your fate after all!"
Scarlet pushed Drako slightly to the side.
"Your part of the family and the royal blood.Heck with it!You don't even HAVE to obey Scotts anymore for that matter.I was afraid that you would become power hungrey and then I would really lose you!I'm sorry!"

I clear my throat. Was it getting hotter? "Um, so, well, seems like you guys are well, fiancés, and are you waiting to be married? I could do that for you, so you never have to, well, go through what you just described, and.... Oh! To hell with- nevermind. You are getting married! Thats an order! Your on my ship, now get married you two lovebirds!" I stalk off. Wow, what just happened in there? I shiver, my own love had died, during the attack on the last airship I had. "I know what it is like to lose someone, I still feel like I had never pleased her. Our wedding night was only three days away.... Damn it! I am not supposed to be so emotional! I swore I would never talk of this again! Oh!" I realize I had been shouting, and that I was talking aloud. I keep stalking off.

As Vince stormed off,Scarlet looked at Drako.
"I finally got the crown off!"Scarlet looked so pleased with herself about getting that blasted thing off her head but was wondering was Scotts had in mind now that he was part of the family line."It's going to be a disaster! I just know it will!"scarlet shouted in her mind.

Thanks Scarlet for that generous gift, I will give it back in due time, I always give money back to people, even if they don't remember giving it to me.

I get to my quarters, and then search for my picture of her. My fingers brush up against glass, and I pull it out. I look at the ornate framing, then to the picture itself. "Oh, how it has been so long since you have been in my mind. I wish you were still here, I wish I could have saved you." The feeling of helplessness washes over me, but I shake it off, instead, I let a hint of anger and contentiousness seep into my being. "They will pay for taking a life as good as her." My hand finds the pomel of Păcaturgie. They would pay. Tears well in my eyes I get back to studying. I would need to summon my familiar, then they will fear me.
