Spider-man blanched at the multiple Reapers staring down at him. Peter briefly contemplated shouting in surprise, instead he made another wise crack to disguise his fear, "Oh dang, its black cloaks and scythes day again and nobody told me! We really need to start putting out memos!" Hadn't Supergirl mentioned something about running from this guy? He shook away the thoughts. If this guy was so bad, then someone had to bring him down. Maybe he couldn't do it alone, but then again there was a rooftop full of heroes right behind him.
"Now don't go anywhere, you crazy evildoers you, I'm gonna be right back with a bunch of crimefighters to help me kick the snot out of you.." Spider-man said as he leapt and zipped on a webline to shoot himself back over to the Bugle rooftop. But as he did so, he noted that there were two more figures there than there had been previously...

Kara zipped directly into the largest cluster of the Reapers, freezing and shattering all of them at super-speed. Without pausing, she zipped over to the rooftop of the Bugle and dropped out of super-speed just in time to hear the comment about her being occupied elsewhere. "Oh, sorry," she hissed, "Was I supposed to wait my turn?" Without waiting for an answer, she shot at him.

"Roxy..." Rosie whispered, hugging her tighter. She didn't like the way the skeleton was smilling...she didn't like him at all. She heard a familiar voice and looked up to see the flying girl again. She smiled and relaxed a bit, feeling like things would be alright.

//ok, i should be back now. //  Daredevil glanced back at Pirate a moment. He tried to focus on who all came and left. The new girl said that she had the ones on the roof under control, Spider-Man was taking care of the one who just left, Fisk certainly couldn't go anywhere, and he doubted Pirate would now. Another young girl soon arrived on the roof, and the woman seemed surprised that she was there. Something happening near Spider-man caught his attention and he turned his focus there. It was hard to tell what was going on. There seemed to be more people there...but there was no heartbeat or anything that indicated that they were alive.
A bit of fire appeared on the roof, and he could sence something rising out of it. Still no heartbeat. At first he though it might be Psycho-Pirate again, but he couldn't see the person like he could the others. This was something different. The child apparently noticed him first, judging by how quickly she became frightened. The woman knew him, and became angry almost as quickly as the girl became frightened. Focusing more on it, he could tell that it was a skeleton draped in cloth.
Supergirl soon returned. She should be able to handle whatever this thing was.

 The Reaper paused when he suddenly heard the girls voice and sighed. "Not that I was expecting you too." he replied, waiting for her to hit him or grab him or whatever she was planning on doing. With her speed he knew he couldn't dodge her at such short notice. He sent a sliver of fire into his shadow, letting it emerge from a shadow within the building.
A reaper appeared from it and looked up at the ceiling. Travel by shadow would probably be best now that the girl was here. Otherwise she might catch onto his travel and duplicate by fire method. She'd be freezing that next. He paused a moment, and a grin made it's way across his boney face. He could use what shadow powers he had against the other heros. If he made multiples of himself and made them all use the darkness in the same way, it should overpower Shadow's control over them.
His grin grew even more. He just felt the familiar tingle of gaining a new ability. Though since he wasn't the one to steal it, he had no idea what it was yet. Well, what better time to find out.

Sorry everyone my computer has a virus so I'm not going to be able to be all that active for a while. Just pretend I'm in stasis or something and I'll hop back in once the problem is fixed.

Kara did not disappoint; within a split second, all that was left of the Reaper was a lot of shattered, red-tinted ice. She paused for a moment, listening, and then shot down directly through the roof. She could have found a window, of course, but she wasn't thinking that clearly. The gory piles that had once been citizens of Metropolis kept flashing in front of her eyes, and he had done it. Upon reaching the Reaper, she reached down and pulled him up by the front of his cloak. "What's the problem?" she asked flatly, "I thought you wanted to piss me off." Without waiting for an answer, she curled her free hand into a fist and sent it flying toward his skull.

He probably shouldn't be surprised, yet somehow he was. Before he simply thought that she'd seen him as she was flying at that speed...but no one could have seen him in this room. She was finding him someother way. Darkenss wouldn't be much of an option against her then at all. How was she finding him?
He noticed her pull back and knew what was coming. Well, what better time to see what new power he had. Almost as quickly as he'd though about it, a small black hole appeared in front of his face. To his surprise, her fist didn't punch through it. He laughed a bit. "Well I was going to take a break from that...but if you insist." he replied with a smile.
He could mention something about her cousin, but why spoil the small possiblility of gaining such strong powers. Besides, even if she did get all of the copies here, he could just as easily send more in.

Hybrid swung in, barely able to move fast enough to keep the blur that was the blonde they had been talking to in view. They landed on the ground, and took it all in. There were people EVERYWHERE. He recognised a few of them: the blonde woman from earlier, Daredevil he knew of from hearing about him, then he saw Spider-Man.
'SPIDER-MAN!' the voices cried out at once.
'It IS him! He can help us!'
'NO!'
'WE MUST KILL HIM!'
'DESTROY HIM FOR DESTROYING OUR INDIVIDUAL SELVES!'
'KILL THE SPIDER-MAN!'
Washington tried to find a way to distract the symbiotes from attacking, then saw a creature that he REALLY didn't want to see.
'CARNAGE!!!'
Hybrid knew that no matter how much power they had together, they were no match for BOTH of them. But they would soon come to a decision as to which they would attack first, and when they did, the brown stuff was definitely going to hit the fan.

Kara gasped, then quickly pulled her hand back out of the hole. She stared at him for a second. He'd gained another power, damn him. Despite her best efforts... "I guess I do," she whispered, her eyes narrowing into slits. She let go of the cloak, allowing him to crash back to the ground, and then she shifted into super speed, pummeling him from all angles. Fat lot of good creating shadows was going to do him if he didn't have time to get them up.

Reaper smiled a bit, knowing he'd managed to make her angry again. She droped him, and the instant he hit the ground, he felt every bone in his form suddenly snap and splinter. What was left of him sprayed across the floor.

Breathing hard, though from ire rather than from exertion, Kara stared down at the mess. Somehow, said a small, cold voice in the back of her mind, I'm going to make you feel every ounce of terror and pain that you inflicted on Metropolis. "Damn straight," she muttered. She paused for a moment, listening for other Reapers.

Shaddow watched as Supergirl smashed into the roof and glanced down at Rosie a moment. She put her down and wrapped her shadow around her like a small shield. With that she quickly sank into her own shadow and re-emerged from the same shadow that the Reaper had used to enter the room. She glanced down at the boney mess all over the ground and looked back up at Super-Girl. "You alright?"

Kara started violently at the sudden interruption, and turned to face the other woman. She opened her mouth to say 'yes', and then slowly shook her head. "He's killing people in... the city I'm from," she said quietly, "Lots of people. Innocent people. Just ripping them apart. And all to keep me busy, so that he can go on snatching powers." She swallowed, and her hands clenched into fists again. "I'm just not... fast enough."

Shadow stared at her a moment, then glanced back down at the pieces of bone by her feet. She really didn't know what to say. She usually just did things that were better for herself and let others deal with the whole big bad supervillian thing. Still, she couldn't stand needless killing.
She'd never had to deal with something like this...and he'd copied her powers. She could try and locate him by consentrating on 'unnormal' shadows around her. But she was still conserned with getting the girl home first. After what had happened, she didn't feel the girl was safe with her.
"I could try to find him whenever he uses my shadow powers...but I need to get the girl home first. Is there...any way I could help you?"
