Got a TON of ideas concerning the mansion and the tech dungeon!!
1: For the mansion, we could probably amalgamate several rooms from Luigi's mansion and Snowpeak Manor (or whatever the name is; been a while since I played TP) i.e. dining, kitchen, den, study, bed, bath, laundry, etc. etc. You could go and play LM and TP for a little "research", as I like to call it.
2: First off, I have found an upgradeable variation to the Temporal Distorter called the Time Warp (lol pun) It has doubled pause duration, plus it lets you go forward or backward in time (for a brief period, of course; don't want it to be a rip off of the fabled instrument)
3: Because of the Time Warp's capabilities, it would be essential to the tech dungeon, found either prior to or in it.
4: From this, I have devised the dungeon as an "under construction" work. Though the Time Warp can let you go back in time, you will mostly be going forward. This will be essential to solving its many puzzles, accessing new areas, progressing through the dungeon, and, most importantly, killing the boss.
And I thought of all this while I was at a Canada Day meeting. ^u^

I wonder how we're gonna pull off the Mountain Isles dungeon...
I'd like to take that on as m next project, (once I finish my break after Hylia's Keel) but I'm unsure the history behind it, how/why it's up there, but dead set on how to get there: Goron Blimps.
Other than that, and the theme of Sky/Fire, I got nothin.

EVENT DUNGEON!!!
This one is for all races sent on a mission, so there's no hindering or elitist-stuff here.
Reading from that IGN article on how Ingo was supposed to burn down the ranch, I was thinking we could incorporate that into the rp!
However, this won't be an inside job, but an outside force.
The gist would be some sort of foe (that's semi-intelligent, at least) is seen traipsing around Hyrule Field, and headed towards the Ranch, with a small band of goons in tow. These enemies have to be terrestrial by nature in order for this to work.
Now I'm not sure who owns the ranch now, but one person is sent to either Castle City, Kakariko, or Keuredet (maybe more, depending on where the story goes) and warns everybody. Whichever party is in the area decides to set out to help save the ranch, and it goes from there.
I was thinking, this "Event Dungeon" can be split into two parts. The first has the foe and his army nearing the ranch. A pre-boss battle can occur here. If the party is unsuccessful and the creatures enter the gates, the action will then shift to the inner ranch. Although no buildings will burn yet, the party must help rally the farmers to defend their homeland. The foes will then break in, toss a torch, and it goes from there.
The farm won't be on fire right away, but will be when the enemies arrive. The big bad leader will toss a torch, starting the fire, and then the true boss battle begins.
Over time, the field will be red with burnt grass and raging fire as the battle continues.
Now I call this an "Event Dungeon" for 2 reasons:
- It will occur at a random time; maybe several random times if the foe doesn't breach the gates. Always at night too.
- There will be some rewards depending on how good your party is at killing the foes, and some slight puzzle-solving within the gates. More on that as we think of them.

XD The event dungeon sounds awesome. It'll have to take place after most of the areas have been discovered, or at least some time after the main party visits Lon Lon Ranch. Believe it or not, there are quite a few drastic/action-packed events something like this in the works, but I'm keeping them a surprise from everyone for as long as I can. However, due to the nature of the RP's progression (the whole free-roaming thing; the people get to choose the next destination and all that), we can't be exactly sure when they'll take place.

But then again, that's kinda the whole idea of an Event Dungeon, isn't it?
Unless the party is extremely far from the destination of each Event (in a dungeon, for example) you can have the events pop up rather randomly. Sort of a sudden assault.

Sorry it took so long for me to post in the RP, guys. I've been very busy lately.
Oh, and Kallori, you can shorten your location tags from now on to just saying Deku Town. I'm sure the reader is aware that the town is within the Forest. XD
Also, Banshee, I'm going to ask this before assuming, but we can go ahead and edit our profiles with our weapons and items and whatnot, yes? I mean, that is the reason you got us to re-post our profiles in the profile thread instead of posting them yourself, right? ninja
