for the first time in three years she felt the wolf in her rise, her vivid purple eyes snaping fire at the man. shifting her body so she was protectively infront of Anna, she narrowed her eyes at him. " i dont know this Sergei, and i dont know you." lowering her voice she didnt hide the growl that escaped her. " but you tell Nia.. or anyone what i am and i swear it will end badly." she had worked to hard to be normal, even hideing her wolf deep inside of her to survive. if they knew about her.. they would kill her like they did the rest of her kind. of course.. she planed on seeking the hunters out at some point, but not for a while yet. she had to much to do.. so much left to finish.

Issac was now deeply confused, they had not been harmful in any way and had only been hospitable.

"What, that you are one of us, I have been a lycan for seventeen hundred years and I killed countless vampires. Master Sergei cares not what you are, only who you are. We protect the children because it is our duty as keepers of the peace."He puffed out his chest to show his silver armor, covered in scars.

Nia sighed, steping next to Shea and takeing Anna from her. she had felt the woman come here, and had only caught the last bit of what Shea had said. bounceing Anna a bit she put a hand on Shea's arm, keeping her voice low. " Shea, he is telling the truth. he helped me and Anna, Sergei gave us a place to stay. he wont hurt us." takeing the chance she studied the girl infront of her, still shocked at the purple eyes and young features. she could never understand what Shea was.. but the woman had always been a friend so she never asked. looking curiusely at Issac she then looked back at Shea, murmering softly. " your not the monster you think you are." louder she said. " Shea, im going to put Anna to bed. please tell Issac what you know about the hunters.. it could help deffendng this place from them." she didnt want anyone here hurt.. not even the quiet Issac. even if he scared her sometimes.

Issac nodded and closed his eyes for a moment, thinking of all the deaths he caused as he did periodically.

"I know what you mean, although the master has helped me deal with my power in ways I never could. I have tried to avoid small children, two years ago I accidentally killed one by hugging it. Lycan children are much more resistant to such things."

"and vampire children." she murmered, her arms aching at the thought. she could still see the little boys face.. so full of terror when the other wolves had found them.. and the trusting way he had looked at her, like she could protect him.. swallowing she continued. " all children are to be protected.." uneasy at the change of subject she stiffened her spine and tried not to look at him, looking over his shoulder as she said in a harder tone. " right. all the information i collected on the hunters are simple. two of them can control people, a girl which controls men.. and a man named Darius who is a spirit tracker. these are the only two that are a hidden threat so far."

"he murdered children. he even went against their code. he killed human children with the rest of them." she growled quietly. her neon purple eyes locked onto Issacs and she let her wolf rise, silver markings covering her skin as a cresent moon appeared on her forhead. " i am not one of your people here." it was a warning, makeing it clear she would act if threatened. fully in the instincts of her she-wolf, Shea raised her chin defiantly. he wasnt her alpha, she wouldnt feel bad about doing what she thought was right.

" no." she murmered simply, flexing her hands inside of her gauntlets. looking at him with a calm, distant look she just shook her head slowly. " Thomas died helping me, and as the creature i am i could turn on any allie. you dont have to take that risk, and i wont let you."
