"You may switch to live ammunition when you are ready Mr. Kalafailrre, but keep your safety on for now."
He turned back to Albrecht.

Talon got out of the c**k pit and put the helmet on her seat. "Im going to go check out whats doing on."
She started to head up to the control room. She glanced in and saw Daniel at the controls. every thing looked as if it was going smoothly. "Im sorry for flying off like that I didnt think were were leaving so soon." she said not wanting to detract him but, felt inclined to explain her self.

he opened a small port by one of his feet and slid a few aether caps inside closing it and punched a button, it whirred with new life sadly safety was on so he sat and waited

"there was no problem really" Daniel says from the pilots seat. "just next time ask for clearance."
The Khaos was no just beyond the outermost gear teeth of the anachronism. "alright, lets see what this old girl can do!" Daniel pushed the throttle up to 75% The engines roared with new vigor, indicators showing that they were taking the increase with no problems. The Khaos picked up speed and zoomed out into open air.

Sasha had only been able to nod her acknowlegement for she was laughing to hard. she not having it at that high of throttle had contributed to the crash land but she enjoyed it all. "no worries Talon. . . i need to work on the auto throttle i am working on. . . .if i can get that to work. . .then we can have smoother take offs and landings"
(sorry i dissapered there i watched an anime that just makes me stay away from the net for a few days. . .)

The Admiral laughed "Guild Airspace? I always thought that an odd term for a city that flies around all over the place."

Talon laughed and grabbed a bar to keep her self steady. "Ya! Now this is what Im talking about, here we take to the sky's!" She was giddy to be off on the next voyage. "Hey! Daniel, do we have an employer yet?"

Myles grins. "Etiquette is generally odd, Admiral. And that is generally what air traffic rules amount to, isn't it? Some for safety, but mostly arbitrary."

Daniel rasies an eyebrow at the giddy Sasha, he felt the same excitement but she could barely standup!
"No we dont have an employer per say." he says to talon. "We do have one passenger that is willing to pay for passage to cog island. Speaking of which, Myles can you look up Cog island on the charts please?"
The Khaos is now a fair distance out from the Guild, but it can still be plainly seen. Banking the ship gently, testing the movements, gauging how the ship pitched and how it would effect crew and passengers. a hard turn would not be pleasant if it tossed everyone off their feet. Daniel sets the Khaos in a path that would take them in a full circle around the guild. cutting to half speed, he activates the automatic pilot mechanism. "Hmm the steering does have a little slack in it," he says remembering the comment Nysth made. Care to step out on deck Admiral?" as he asks he disengages his wings from the chair, feeling a twinge reminiscent of a blink that refocuses ones eyes he glances back at the now vacant chair. "Do my wings link me into the ship? am i seeing partly through the ship itself? Nah couldn't be..." he mutters.

Myles says, "I most certainly shall, Captain." And then he turns to the racks of charts.
"Hmmm. I really must do something about this. Perhaps some arrangement of index cards..."

aiming at a nearby landmass, though safety still on he would pull the trigger several timees, making the sounds of gun fire with his mouth and then
"Boom!"
he would say to himself in a childish manner, unknowing his communicator was still on he lets out a sigh and says quietly
"Permission to let out a test round sir"

Elliot was shaken from his sky watching reverie by Nysth's call through the communicator.
"Granted Mr. Kalafailrre. I think we are at a safe enough distance from teh guild now, and I too would like to see the gun perform."
He called into another tube, leading to another gunner station.
"Clank! Launch a test bouy!"
Though it gave no reply, he clank acquised and a *whiffle* could be heard as a small round ball was launched from near the prow gun. When it was about 100 feet from the airship, the ball cracked open, and a large balloon inflated, now keeping the bout aloft. A small rotor beneath it kicked in, sending it in a slow spiral around the ship.
"Mr. Kalafailrre, you may fire at the bouy when ready, as soon as notify the Captain."
He turned once more to the "Bridge" tube.
"Captain, permission to test fire Nysth's cannon? I have launched a test bouy a safe distance from both the ship and the guild."

"granted Eli, please make sure everyone is far enough back in case of any mishap." Daniel steps to the bridge view port to watch the test fire. He had wondered about any targets they might have for testing but hadnt asked.
