Leaping away from the building as if it had just snapped at him, he landed behind Miri, and shivered for a moment. "Ugh, good thing I haven't eaten in a while. Okay, well, let's not dilly-dally, surely you're headed somewhere, and I really don't mind where it is, so I think I'll just follow you there. Know what? I'll get you there faster, just give me directions, we'll be there in no time!". Ray really looked anxious, this place REALLY made him uncomfortable. If he wasn't causing trouble here, he didn't want to stay.

"Did you know that more then 75% of the people on the Titanic died? And the 10% that survived froze to death like the Jack guy did?....Laviatar?" Amnity stopped her work on her sniper rifle and looked over at Laviatar. She was sleeping soundly on the couch, looking extremely peaceful in her quiet slumber. The soldier sighed, walking over to her friend as she tried not to make a sound. Gently, she picked her and carried her to her room. Amnity placed her on the bed and slowly pulled the covers over her like a mother would with her daughter.
She came back out in the living room, turning the TV off as she sat back down near the table to finish her work. It was getting really late, but she didn't feel a bit tired. That is another of the altered human's flaws. They are endowed with incredible strength, speed, eyesight, and hearing....But they cannot sleep. They cannot enjoy the tantalizing dreams and the peaceful night, all they could do is wait for the sun to finally rise.

Suddenly, Kimi's laptop started beeping and she took it out of her pocket. She opened it, logged in and saw that Ray was just outside of the mayor's house. Luckily I'm right next to a window near Ray and my laptop is unhackable and untraceable. Thank goodness for my major smarts in technology. PLUS I have everything important to me in a secret code that can't be translated and only I can understand. Kimi logged out of her laptop and slipped it back into her pocket. She walked to the window five feet away from her and saw Ray talking to a young girl. Kimi walked 7 feet away so that no one can see her and enhanced her hearing so that she can listen to what they are saying. Kimi sent another flea to bite the young girl. The transmitter successfully went into the girl and the process was unnoticed and seemed like nothing happened. The flea disappeared without a trace.

Shina had finished her dinner and now she was sitting at the restaurant, using her handheld computer. She had already found out the mayors name, and now she was looking up where she lived. Once she found out her address, she got up and left. She ran to the mayor’s house, and in a minute or two she arrived at the house. At first she was annoyed that Ray was there, but her annoyance vanished when she realized how anxious Ray was. “I wouldn’t think street scum such as yourself would be intimidated by upper-class society; I thought you were supposed be tough and what not.” Shina said smirking.

"Down the street, right, left, down a block, left again." Miri told him, giving him instructions to the cafe they had met in earlier. "And there's someone watching us from inside with a computer." she added. It was hard to hide from a girl who could read minds.

Thanks for the warning. Well, it's gotten even more fun, that... woman who just showed up, that's Terra and Aiva's mother. She's the reason they flipped out near the end of the last mission. Alright, play it off like we don't know eachother. Just go ahead and go to the cafe, I'll meet you there, but I'll have to take a different route altogether. I can figure out a long route to the cafe with your directions, see you there. "Thank you kindly young lady, I get lost all the time when I wander down here. Good thing you this city so well.". Ray said, and turned away from Miri, looking Shina in defiantly the eyes as he answered "The fearless are merely fearless. People who act in spite of their fear are truly brave. If you believe I am afraid of this place, and yet I'm here nonetheless, you're proving that I'm tough." Finally putting the HPPC back onto his belt, he shot a quick look at the mayor's house. "Anyways, I have more important matters to deal with then exchanging small talk with stuck-up scum, we street scum have incredibly busy schedules, believe it or not.". Walking away, he gave a slight wave back, and began his long detour to the cafe.

Shina thought for a moment, she didn't want to let him get with that, but she hadn't come here for a fight. She gave into her want to get back at him, even though she knew it was childish. She stomped her foot hardenough to make the sidewalk hard enough to make it crack, and then proceeded to bend down and picked up one of the large fragments of the sidewalk. She picked it up and hurled it at Ray with ease. "That should teach the little brat" she muttered.

Oh great, I dropped my pencil... thought Kimi as she figured out that the girl Ray was talking to could read minds. So she picked up her imaginary dropped pencil and walked away. She logged out and closed her computer. She waited until she was at the door of the mayor's room. I don't think there's anymore important info after that....She then knocked on the mayor's door. I wonder what happened to the mayor and Valeda during that riot. "Mayor? It's me, Kimi. Can I come in?"

If Ray couldn't figure out an attack was coming soon by the loud stomp, he'd be dead by now. Not even bothering to turn back, he jumped a good fifteen feet into the air as sidewalk barrage passed under him, and continued walking as soon as he landing, even laughing a little as he walked over the shattered remains of the attack. He knew this woman would be fun to annoy eventually, if a simple few sentences were enough to trigger an attack, even one as simple as that. Still, he kept a bit of an alert for any more attacks behind him till he turned the corner, but he managed to not look back at all the whole time. Relaying the direction Miri had given him through his mind, he broke out into a jog, which would get him to his destination in about two minutes.

Miri nodded, giving him a bright smile before running off. She reached the cafe within a few minutes, sitting down in one of the chairs and waiting for Ray to reach it. She did watch him in her mind's eye, making sure he didn't get lost again.

Dro'ki's beastal form was designed for specific purposes: Agility, Sensory, Tracking, and Lethality. Powerful limbs carried the form silently and quickly, a variety of spines protruding from the back could detect and sense heat, vibrations, and pressures that make the use of eyes obsolete, the forms claws and sheer brute strentgh and intelligence made the creature a organic juggernaut its limit of power was aggression...if it failed to keep a high level of rage, it would quickly become unstable returning to its calmer state. The creature picked up a vibration in the solid ground and its mind painted a mental picture from the vibrations it made out a humanoid form stomping with a large force that dislodged the ground, lowering to the ground it moved silently closer changing its skin pigments to cover its approach from behind keeping a bead on the humanoid from the vibrations of the targets heart beat and pulse.

Shina merely sighed when Ray dodged the attack. She wasn't going to pursue him; she had come here to talk to the mayor, not to fight. She was about to knock on the mayor door, but then stopped. There was something behind her; she could sense it. She bent down, pretending to adjust her shoe. She waited for whatever was behind to do something. She still had her scythe on her back, so if it attacked she’d be ready.

-l-Deafening Silence-l- Shina merely sighed when Ray dodged the attack. She wasn't going to pursue him; she had come here to talk to the mayor, not to fight. The target's pluse rose slightly, the body temperature increased as well a tell tale sign that the target detected him. the only way that was possible was is the target was a demon he scaned the vibrations more carefully and found that this was indeed a demon and female. He slowly repositioned for a different strike angle on the wall of the building. When positioned he watched what her reaction would be.

Ray arrived at the cafe in just the amount of time he'd estimated. Sitting in his usual chair, he sighed and let himself slide a little farther down the chair to relax. It'd been a long day, and he'd been moving throughout it's entirety. He seemed content sitting there for a bit, but he knew he couldn't stop yet. Sitting a little straighter, he slid one of the HPPCs across the table to Miri and said "You probably don't have as much a need for this as everyone else, but it's the only standardized equipment the rebellion has, so hopefully you'll get SOME use out of it. It's like a mini-computer or something. I don't know how to use it myself, but the dude who made them and gave them to me will explain to everyone eventually. Don't break it before then.". Leaning back again, he stretched his arms over his head and asked "You want something to eat or drink for now?".
Slyrin walked from weird device to weird device, inspecting them, and in deep thought. He decided he'd pick out some more equipment that might be found useful for any of the rebellion's members, or build some things that would. He also wanted to test out the transporter to see if he could send stuff through it, and this would be a good opportunity. Occasionally picking up an unusual looking tool, he looked as if he'd be doing that for a while, and he'd be quite entertained doing so.
