True for most due to the increase in demand and decrease in supply, but the occasional item will skip that due to desirability. I see the superior form (or whatever it's called) as one of those, but maybe not the Gift of the Gods. Some will just continue to increase in price and decrease in supply, for example the kitties or the ninja headband. Right now the market is flooded with everyone trying to sell off their "cool" new items which will as you say cause a decrease in price very quickly as people try to undercut and get their gold. It's pretty much a gut feeling though on which items will soon be worthless and then follow the trend or will continue to increase, those are the ones I'm interested in because they are likely to reach several hundred thousand. But then again I am willing to wait because they are investments if I do buy them in a reasonable quantity.
