World War 2 could've been avoided if the other countries weren't so damn greedy and paranoid with the Treaty of Versailles.

If not Hitler than someone else. I believe that even if Hitler didn't come to power someone else would have. He just happened to be there first.

Well, a lot of European countries were in a pretty bad way after WWI. Before then, Europe was pretty much the economic power of the planet. After... not so much.
The Germans were pretty desparate, and the Nazi party was... um... persuasive. ._.;

Jarlaxle Baenre If not Hitler than someone else. I believe that even if Hitler didn't come to power someone else would have. He just happened to be there first. Well, yeah. You can never say "If it weren't for Hitler," because some other genius would've taken over. However, the Treaty of Versailles was certainly a playing factor in the creation of WWII. Had it not been established, taking away Germany's land, weapons, and so forth, maybe we'd not have to learn about WWII, because it would've never happened. But then again, it's one of my favorite eras, so I'm not complaining 3nodding

It's true, the creators of the treaty are mostly responible. That's why Germany didn't have it as bad after WWII. What brought the down was fighting the war on multiple fronts though.

Whoever's fault it was I sure as hell wouldn't want to recreate it. If you got into name calling and finger pointing you'd have to go through a very large list of grievances against multiple parties so we leave it at the fact that the world in general is at fault and we should all die.
Or something like that.

Jarlaxle Baenre It's true, the creators of the treaty are mostly responible. That's why Germany didn't have it as bad after WWII. What brought the down was fighting the war on multiple fronts though. That and a few key mistakes made by Germany during the war. But anyways. I'm hungry, bored, and in need of something violent and awesome other than the Enter The Matrix game. I know it's old, but damn, it's fun.

On a completely different note, I GOT 91% ON MY BIOLOGY FINAL! *Boogies* That brings my mark up to 95%, adjusted. *uber happy now* And the Physics final was easier than I thought it would be... Yayness!

Hitler was the one, because Jenny Sparks, the Spirit of the Twentieth Century, was talking to Hitler about how his paintings sucked, so maybe he should take a career in politics, instead, since he was so patriotic and well-spoken. Yayness! Hey, congrats. I barely passed Biology... and Physics. I killed Chemistry, though. Got honours in Chemistry, despite my lackluster performance in the other two sciences. O_o;
