I cannot believe all the damage that has been done here. O_o
I've been through worse, stronger typhoons back home on Guam. Now the recent typhoon here in the Philippines...it's pretty much a warm-up compared to back home, but....trees are uprooted everywhere. Construction work, ruined. pieces of billboards strewn all over the power lines. eek The wind didn't even seem that strong! (And as Sheba would say, Do not belittle the power of the wind!!! xp )
Yeah, that's the worst part....the power's been gone for about a day now, and it's expected to come back Sunday. Dx I think classes are pretty much cancelled, but I'm bored to death at home. AND IT'S FRACKING HOT. Yup, the sun is shining brightly today...hard to believe it rained that hard yesterday.
There's another bad part. All the still water brings about the breeding of mosquitoes. AMONGST AN EPIDEMIC OF DENGUE FEVER. gonk So I'm like, in paranoid hypochondriac mode here. @_@;; I don't think I want to look for the symptoms, because it'll make me freak out even more. Dx If there's a point in time in which you don't hear from me in over....3 weeks or so....er.....let's not think about that... >_<;;
But before I may meet my untimely demise, I'd like to see Sing in a DRESS. mrgreen
