Rhed King I'm going to go be straight in Vermont till Wednesday So you'll be gay when you come back? Aside from that, pretty nice night. Had a family dinner, went to late night dinner with BF, cool , hung out, and now laying down for bed. And I learned how to use chopsticks tonight. And I move to college in 12 hours. Excite.

Nap fail.
Maybe I just need to take it when I'm not tired enough to sleep a full 8 hours.

Today was a philosophy day. I've been thinking about the different types of wanting. I can identify three that I experience routinely.
One, wanting something, but placing that want at the end of a ridiculous obstacle course full of don't wants. Like, spending the first 25 years of my life in school so I can spend the next 20 years of my life working up to a salary I can cut in half for the next 15 years of my life so I can spend the last 20 years of my life doing what I please and answering to no one. It feels good to have something to look forward to and I know it'll feel great when I finally have it after putting so much into it, but I'm impatient; sometimes it doesn't feel so good knowing I've still got a ways to go to get it. And then, what if it doesn't and I put all that effort in for nothing? This is my least favorite form of wanting and the one I primarily want to eliminate.
Two, wanting something and knowing you've got it. Like when I want some ******** amazing frozen yogurt with chocolate chunks and a caramel ripple, I know that all I have to do is walk downstairs to the freezer and help myself. This is an okay form of wanting for me; since I already know I've got it, there's little euphoria, but little stress. But it's kind of lackluster sometimes.
Three, casually thinking 'hey this would be cool' and then seeing it happen without directly setting an expectation that it will. For example every free Champion rotation where I mention someone it'd be cool to try and boom, there they are next week. Or when Triscuits are on sale for a ******** dollar. This is my favorite because I don't feel disappointed if it doesn't happen, and when it does, not only am I pleased, I'm surprised as well. Like, when they told me they actually had a copy of TWEWY a few weeks ago, I was ******** giddy. I was like WHAT REALLY OH MY GOD OH MY GOD THEY HAVE IT FUUUUCK YES THEY HAVE IT And that felt really good. :"D
I wonder if it's possible to approach all of my desires from a 'three' mindset. To place no expectations on anything, detach myself from the results, and accept everything pleasant that comes to me as a random blessing, not as a given, and not as a goal. I think that'd be ideal.

Matthew 6:25-27 & 31-34 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?.....1 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.. James 4:14-15 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” Primary form of Worry = Eliminated.

....Aaaand the Silent Hill wiki points out how close Mayu from Elfen Lied resembles Angela Orosco.
There is hardly any differences.

It's amazing how easy a frustrating boss becomes after several hours of grinding.
