Kills 666 What about the others like Malcom X or the other black americans that gave there live for the help of there othr black americans that didn't Not many people know that much about Malcom X because he was such a polarizing figure. At first he was Militant. He was part of a group that wanted a black revolutionary war. They were essentially terrorists. More of the terrorists that have attacked the US are from the US btw. He was arrested, then denounced the group's militant actions under the guise of fighting for black freedom and was ultimately assassinated by the people he was trying to save.

JMan 240 Shinsua I dont think most people understand that the United States is one of the least racist nations in the world now-a-days. . .
That still isn't really saying that much. Because the US is still kinda... really racist.
We're the least racist majority white nation in the world Even Canada is more racist than us. . . But *shrug* whatever I understand what you mean, sometimes it doesnt really seem like that. . . As for Malcom X He was a great man and all. . .just. . .he was violent, so people dont like to remember him as much. . . Regardless, Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man and he did alot for the nation Whether people want to realize or remember this is truly up to them But his advancements are un-ignorable. . .cept in the deep south. . .

You can't change the deep south. I live in the South. People in NC are racist... and we aren't even in the DEEP south. The problem with the south is that they haven't advanced their educational systems outside of large cities very much, and the civil rights movement isn't that far removed. People in the south tend to take after those who raise them a lot. So any deep seeded animosity from parents and grandparents is passed down to their kids.

All of the greatest minds will be forgotten by most of the U.S.
Shin is right. The whole reason we don't remember Malcolm X is because he was violent and made a bad example of the African American population. MLK jr though, was peaceful and overall loved.
