"I personally don't care who rules this world Merlin, I just want some of the spoils. For now anyway." he looked at the cieling as Merlin rested against him and gingerly placed his arms around her, "But humans ruling this city? The city of gods..the city of the Ten? That is something that should change. I won't need to be saved for such a cuase Merlin. Not for something like that."

And then the ceremony began. He felt his emotions slowly leave him and enter her body, their destination would be the door now open in Magnolia's mind, but not before it circled thoughout her body, his power filling her just as it did Tyran. His hold on her waist continued to stay secure, but it wasn't as uptight anymore...almost...relaxed.

"The Ten are waking, Tien. It will not be in human control for long." Merlin pointed out, "They had enough problems sharing between each other."
Magnolia stiffened, making a small noise of surprise, getting a grip on Dorien's arm, she squeezed. The sensation was very uncomfortable, she'd never felt anything like it before but she squirmed and whimpered softly. His power and his emotions translated into furniture and objects. The room grew in size, a bed appeared, a desk, a closset, a wardrobe, a hearth with a roaring fire. Vienna doors appeared, an outside appeared. It was night tiem outside but the night was illuminated by a full moon, a waxing full moon that spilled silver light onto the verandah.
She watched it form in her minds eye, allowed Dorien to see if he wished as well. She recognized this room then smiled, her room at home, this is what it looked like! Magnolia relaxed again and lazy laughter bubbled out of her. It hadn't hurt as badly as she'd thought and now Dorien would feel better, or....not feel at all? She wasn't sure but it made Dorien better which made her so happy. Without her control she felt something flow out of her and into Dorien. It was a small seed but as soon as it settled in Dorien it exploded into life, manifesting itself as another emotion, Magnolia's emotion.
Dorien had given him some of his power and his emotions in exchange for Magnolia's adoration, no love of Dorien. As was customery, the emotion was accompanied by a pletora of snapshot images, most of them were of Dorien with that irritated look on his face....or no look on his face at all.

She'd heard of this but every time she asked Vincent, he'd avoid the question. And when he wanted to, Vincent could be very distracting. She was silent a moment, "Would an apprentice be so presumptuous as to move ahead without his master?" She asked.

In exchange for his power and the blessed release of those emotions...something worse was traded. Something cruel in Dorien's eyes. Something that even he wouldn't bestow upon another creature. Love.
It was instantaneous and far more powerful than anythng he had ever experienced. His grip on her tightened as it coursed through him and a small growl escaped his lips. What...have you done to me? he asked, his voice cold as ice as his fangs returned to normal and he released her from their grip.
A trade? That had never been done before and now these images in his mind...the first time they met, the looks he gave her and even her own annoyed gaze were filling his very head. He quickly let go of her and growled louder. Now that the other emotions had left him, he was filled with this one overwheleming feeling..and he hated it more than anything else, but not because it was just there, but because he couldn't control it.
Instead the feeling was soon going to control him...

Tien thought about it, his eyes darkening, but before he could answer, the powerful aura of Dorien's filled the area, along with another...that girl, "I have no true answer to that question now Merlin, but I will be sure to answer it. For now, I think we should check on that girl of yours...Magnolia. It appears she either way over her head, or Dorien himself is."

Magnolia squeaked when she was squeazed then let out a surprised noise when she was suddenly let go. She fell and looked up at him, I didn't do anything! She replied, staring up at him, confused. She frowned up at him, I've got all of what you gave me, didn't it work? She asked.
Merlin laughed, "Oh...this is much better then expected. Bravo Magnolia!" She sat up and rolled off of the bed to her feet, "Sometimes the damsel in distress is much betther at conquoring the beast, don't you think?" She smirked at Tien, "Who's apprentice are you? Magnolia will be fine for a little while longer."

Tien laughed and soon followed Merlin's actions, "Indeed I do. I wonder how much she has unwittingly changed Dorien.." he murmured before he grinned, "Can't you guess? I am Aurora's boy as Dorien oh so eloquently(sp?) put it."

"Aurora has many 'boys'" She raised a brow, "I'm impressed, I do think you would make a good member, I belive what I'm worried about is having Aurora angry at you for moving ahead without her blessing. She has a wicked temper, if I remember correctly."

"Oh she does," Tien answered with a shrug, "But she wants to have fun and chaos is always fun for her. Truly, she won't stay mad for long." he grinned slightly, "And I am her first...boy. I am not the other concubine-like beings she had around her long ago. I shall think about your offer Merlin, but for now...let me enjoy the little freedom I have under your rule." he said with a wider grin.

Dorien closed his eyes, his fists tightening as he felt that horrible emotion filling him. He made sure not to even look at her, fo rher very presence was driving him insane. His eyes regained their icy color, but no one saw this for Dorien quickly disappeared, an elvan curse upon his lips.
That girl...she tricked me! He snapped as he entered the only place he felt safe...his resting place. She tries to play innocent, but that little wench knows what she did!
The very wind about him heated up in his confused anger, I will make sure she pays for this....even if I have to cause hell for everyone else in this world!

Geez, men can be so stupid! His contemporary appeared nearby, her arms folded, giving him a scathing look, You lay one hand on that girl and you'll kill yourself. She snapped, rolling her eyes, She wouldn't trick you, Dorien and the answer is teh very emotion driving you insane. You don't trick the ones you love. She shook her head.
Magnolia stared at the spot where he'd been, "Dorien!" She scrambled to her feet and tracked him. It was immensely easier and she ran outside, still in her nightgown.
Magnolia sighed, "Alright. But you must behave yourself. I know it's a new thing for you but I have confidence you can handle it." She walked over and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, she pulled away and smiled at him, "You really need to find yourself someone special, Tien. I hate seeing you alone."

Dorien looked at her evilly and stood up, readying to leave the cuty once again. He couldn't take this and the appearance of his counterpart wasn't helping anything, Love? I don't love her! I don't love anyone! That is an emotion I cannot have! he growled, his eyes flashing, The love of war, I do have, but the love of a woman? he began to fade away.
