There are definitely things you can do to lose said caring. Beating on Owle's friends is one of them.
Mind you, she'd still want you to live. But she wouldn't mind doing you bodily harm, and might consider it okay for you to spend the rest of your life in a semi vegetative state.
And...um...yeah. If Owle's not too distracted by the drama, I'll make sure Athan at least gets a "congratulations" and an "are you alright?"

Designated Hero That's a consolation...I guess. The only thing I really picture right now is the trio duo limping their way out of the temple, with Allen and Vahn receiving immediate praise from all of their his friends. And Athan just sorta standing there feeling all awkward and whatnot. "I'm staying behind in Demon world. It was my father's home after all."
