sad I cannot say I knew him well, but can attest to him being very welcome here. His gluggles will likely be his legacy: a way that he can be remembered fondly as the friend to all around here that he truly was.

I totally forgot that I had Trowa's facebook! And yes, it's doubly confirmed that Vince Rooney (aka Trowa) is gone.
Here's the post from his dad:
"Michael Rooney: Friends, it saddens me to tell you that we lost our shining light today, July 6th, 2009. Take heart in the fact that he went peacefully, with Meemaw and myself at his bedside, and his last loving thoughts were of his dear mother. We will all miss him terribly, but we can rejoice in that he can at last run again, and he will doubtless bring as much Joy to God as he shared with us all. Vince, we love you!
