For you to see who's gonna stick around____________________________ [Sunpaw suddenly heard yowls in the distance. It was coming from her left side.] "What the?" [She looked around, there was nothing there. Again, the yowls began again. Sunpaw began to follow the voice, which led her to Eaglesoar in a shallow river. She looked at him in amusement, it was shallow! Can't he swim?] "Eaglesoar! Stop playing in water and come on out!" [Sunpaw meowed playfully. She padded over to him and examined the stream. She giggled lightly and began to help him out. She stepped into the stream and began to push him out.] ____________________________ Cause when the sky's the darkest

Close your eyes, rest awhile
It's been a long long day

[ Songpaw got to her feet and nudged Willowheart. She remembered her name called out by some cat. She was confused about the situation.
Songpaw was too nosy to forget about it. ]
" Well were safe...
Willowheart, I remembered some tom yell out your name. What happened?
Did he make you mad? Or hurt you? Or Scare you?
Who was he? What he do?
I cant help being nosy, Willowheart! Tell me! "
[ Songpaw could ask a question every second. But maybe she wouldn't tell her. ]

Beneath this tough exterior,

to be loved. |Foxfur| NightClan+Deputy+Tom+Mentor+In Love+Tough&Independant You are my love, ____________________________________________________________________________________________ [Rolling my eyes at Mudnose's comment, I stuck my tongue out at her, watching her retreating form. Grinning to myself, I padded in the opposite direction, searching for prey as I went. Dropping the lizard, I slowly crept towards a frog, one that was absentmindedly hopping along. Snapping my jaws together, the frog stared up at me in surprise, then began to hop away. This was my favorite part, chasing. Hissing, I pelted forward, strong legs enabling me to easily catch up with the small animal. Pouncing, I sailed through the air, landing just behind the frog. Raising my paw, I unsheathed my claws, slamming them down and killing the prey. Picking it up, I quickly collected the lizard and trotted back to my original place, just in time for Mudnose to come back and Sunpaw to run off. Looking at Mudnose, I narrowed my eyes, noticing something to be wrong with the she-cat] "Mudnose? Are you alright?" [As Sunpaw ran off, I glanced down at Mudnose, not wanting to leave her, but needing to make sure Sunpaw was fine and not running into trouble] _____________________________________________________________________________________________ You are my life. I was caught off guard at having the littl she-cat notice everything. Instantly, I was transported back to the fight, reliving the feelings that rushed through me as his green eyes met mine. It was incredible. I wondered what he was doing and if he felt the same, all while mentally scolding myself. I had a mate, for StarClan's sake! That was always in the back of my mind. What if word of my horrible actions reached Lightningstrike? Looking down at Songpaw, I tried to ignore my pounding heart] "Oh, him? That was nothing. He just needed my help, that's all!" [Glancing away, I straightened up, wanting to escape the small, cramped den. How many tines had I feared someone had figured out my secret? This was too hard for me to bear alone. I knew Foxfur knew, and that's what killed me] __________________________________________________________________ Is it so hard to be real?

[Mudnose coughed slightly, her blue eyes trying to focus on Foxfur. She giggled involuntarily.] "Perhaps I should go see Hauntedheart. I feel all funny inside my head," [she snickered in an odd voice, almost as if it wasn't hers. Her claws sank into the ground as her world spun faster and faster in front of her. She swayed slightly. Her paws shook slightly. Not good, not goo... she thought vaguely. She had to get back to camp before she fainted.
Withou warning, she tugged herself away from the others...well, Foxfur. She grasped the snake in her mouth and padded carefully toward camp, humming notes in an almost delirious pattern. The poison was definitely taking a toll on the pretty she-cat. She closed her eyes for a moment. The the contents of her stomach threatened to spill over. She grunted, her claws sinking into the ground, and partially into the snake's back. She shook her head, and continued carefully, navigating slowly around the tree roots and puddles.]

[It was as if Starclan had answered his prayers when he felt something pushing against him. The massive and well muscled tom tried to flail his legs and swim to shore, but they were frozen in fear and won't listen to him. Just when he felt like his lungs were about to burst from lack of air, he felt his head break the surface of the water and he climbed out of the stream, gasping for breath as he turned around to thank his saviour...
...Only to find Sunpaw, an apprentice barely half his size. Great. Saved by a puny apprentice, oh joy. He would be the laughing stock of the whole clan!]
Maybe it wasn't her, maybe it was someone else, someone bigger and stronger...
[He thought desperately, but no, his "saviour" was definitely Sunpaw.]
"Thanks, uh...I just had a cramp. Injury from the foxes, I couldn't move my legs properly."
[He lied with a small fake smile, hoping Sunpaw won't notice and hoping she won't tell anyone. He cast a glance towards the stream...and realised that it probably was shallow enough for him to stand on tip-paws and his nose would be above the surface. Plus, it was flowing slowly enough for Riverclan cats to have a leisurely swim.]

[She meowed, slowly getting out of the stream.] "I have to do some hunting anyway.." and guardian of all things."_______________________________________________ [Guardianpaw froze, realizing he was pressing close to the kitten. Weirded out by his own weirdness, he scrambled backwards, fur flufed out more in embarrassment.]
"S-sorry!" he gasped, repeating the apology for a different reason now. [He shivered a bit as a wave of relief washed over him, stronger than the fear and terror he'd felt before combined.
It was almost as if he'd been walking around with a huge burden on his shoulders, and at Shimmer's acceptance, the gargantuous load had been lifted. Relief soon evolved into exhiliration as he purred loudly, tail swishing back and forth as he sniffed her in a less intense manner.]
"So where'dja come from?" he asked curiously. "I haven't seen you around camp lately since before'n those foxes came! And you're not a newborn, and you don't smell like NightClan!"
[He squinted at her, almost as if he could discern her origin by simply glancing at her shimmering coat. Shimmering, yet dirty coat.]
"And why're you covered in muck!"
[Without an explanation, he promptly padded over to her side and began to lick the muck away vigorously with one tongue.]
"They should call you Mudfur!" he teased coyly, purring as he successfully implemented an excuse to have contact with the she-kitten. [Her scent flowed through his being and soothed a long-suffering feeling in the brink of his soul.

Noble warrior, determined kit
" I've seen more than you can believe... There's more to me than meets the eye. "  [ The silver eyed kit watched the other curiously, thoughts whirring. It was like she'd known him before. A familiar pang of a mixture of loss, suffering, love, and ferocity to protect was washing over her. She blinked a few more times, a bit confused by all his questions. ]
"Uhh, well... I used to live in the housefolk nest maze, where my mother kept me. But I ran away. I was tired of being hidden from the rest of the world, and I wanted to get out! Shimmer answered defiantly, her nose creeping up. "An' I just got here. A black cat brought me here after I was trying to find my way through the swamp. I didn't know where I was going, but this place feels like the right place!" Shimmer piped up, her silver eyes glittering.
[ As if on cue, her eyes began to roam. Even with her filthy coat, different smell, and new sense of adventure, Shimmer felt like she belonged. Though she hadn't known any of the other cats at all, she still felt like she'd known them all along, like they were waiting for her. And most of all, she felt her eyes wander toward the nursery, where she had seen the white kit with blue eyes disappear. Suddenly, Shimmer felt a fierce sense of loyalty toward that one cat. Shimmer vowed to herself that she wouldn't let anything happen to herself if the white kit couldn't do it as well. Her thoughts were brought back to the present as she felt a rasping tongue on her coat. She nearly jumped, but held herself at the last moment. ]
"But I'm Shimmer! Not Mudfur!" the small kit protested, silver eyes wide.
[ Yet she suddenly felt self-conscious, and craned her neck to start licking the mud and swamp muck from her pelt. She licked the dried mud from between her pads first, since tey had begun to pinch and sting. Wincing, Shimmer ripped out dried mud and grasses, then began to work on her swamp encrusted chest. She could have had the whole swamp stuck to her fur! ]

If this was leaked out, he would be the laughing stock of the next Gathering.]
"Hey, Sunpaw!"
[He called out to her as he bounded towards her, catching up to her in a few strides. Pausing only to clear his throat, the massive warrior twitched his whiskers in embarrassment as he gazed down into the much smaller she-cat's eyes.]
"You can keep this a secret right? The whole Nightclan's going to laugh at me if they find out...and yeah, I can swim. Very well."
[His ears burned at the thought of him lying through his teeth, and he mentally pushed those guilty feelings away, forcing a sheepish smile at Sunpaw.]

[Eaglesoar stopped his long string of very rude words just in time, but still glaring at the apprentice furiously, his tail lashing in frustration at the inability to do anything in this situation.]
"What do you mean? I was always nice to that self-obsessed and shallow fleabrain - I mean I was always nice to him."
When he's not moaning and cooing over his pretty pelt.
[He had a fake smile plastered onto his face, looking unusually tense and stiff. Be nice to Bramblefire? He was always nice to him! What kind of brother would look out for him as much as he did? Everything he did was for Bramblefire's own good.]
"I was never mean to him, I only want him to stand properly on his own two paws instead of always relying on others."
