((Devath: It's a freaking open room. A movement like that is going to attract the attention of anyone who has any skill whatsoever, and thus can pause when disengaged, as he obviously has been, to look around him. If he has half a brain he'll certainly notice that his compatriot is in danger, and we're including magic here, which lets off a magical aura that is probably connected with all of these italics and the demi-seriousness of my counter-argument. I will, however, ensure to write that in, although I figured you could be kind enough to assume such a thing would happen, since he's obviously a competent character. You also have to include mild depression for me.
Magazine powder was meant to be a powder magazine D: You know, all the stories where boats have their powder magazines hit and explodinate.))
Fyrin fired a fireball into the side of the sword, which with any luck would be enough force to knock it away from Joe's chest. He then moved forward to grab Joe and move him clear of the danger zone.

(( Devath Samuel rushed in at Marco, flinching at Darius' attack, but trusting Gertrude to cover him against future blows. As he rushed, he started throwing volleys of fireballs at Marco. This is what I was talking about. Jokerman-EXE Marco skipped back and threw two FBs at the charging Sam, then aimed one at the floor just in front of his shield. Hopefully, it would slow him down. If it didn't, Marco always had other spells. Problem was, he didn't really have time to set up right now... Oh well. If Sam was slowed by the floor exploding, then Marco would grab Joe and fly him to safety. Hopefully Paul was still covering them. This is what you responded with.)) ((See, my assumption was right! Yay! razz Depression is no reason to pity you, give you additional power, or any other sort of consolation activity to appease you. Nor is it a reason for decreased RP skill. In my case, I RP better when I'm depressed. Now if you're talking writers block or a motivation deficiency, then I can understand... To a degree. If I had motivation difficulty that could affect my RPing, I'd probably not be RPing, too much effort. Also, fury at my not assuming that your characters are doing everything they can to be badasses, "the good guys", and all-in-all, the people who win, is not a justified argument. All I ask is that we manage battlefields properly... IE: The justification is sort of off, because if such was so, they would have noticed... 4 or 5 rounds ago, when the platform turned into 'splodey stone. Which likely inflicted additional damage to Joe himself. Whee... In addition, WTF? I was swinging at Marco over Joe's body. If you lunge at me, I'm in a perfectly good position to beat you down. Isn't Fyrin, who is supposedly 700 years old, likely to have a decent sense of what is tactical suicide and what isn't? Also, are we teleporting around the room, then? The teleportation abilities of characters that aren't in peril to characters that are are astounding, though. Better wording would be recommended if that was not your intent. If anyone was close enough to seize Joe, Sam would have noticed. He is not blind. And maybe tripping Sam up is vaguely plausible. But since he's running, this would likely do either very little, maybe even missing a spot his foot would hit entirely, or in a worst case would cause him to stumble forward and inflict another deep wound on Joe. I don't see what your problem is... Could we please get a solidified location map??? THis is part of the problem I've been having. I've been RPing multi-round charges, and there seems to be no concrete location of anything. Other characters and minions are obstructions to view. This was what I was assuming with Paul, BAYER. If there is a wall of zombies/skeletons fighting each other, it's hard to see through. Everyone, including me, seems to be ignoring the fact that there are minions filling the room except when it seems convenient. Jesus, this is why large battles without something along the lines of IRC deliberation piss me off. Nobody agrees on the location of anything... Meh, the firebal will hit the shield, which, BTW, envelops the sword as well. That is why the sword is a phase sword... Anyways, Marco?))

((Yeah, but that's because FBs come in varying sizes. A handful of regular fireballs can be intercepted by the larger Force Bullets. They were supposed to intercept and, if Venom was feeling generous, continue on.
So, yeah. Might want to rethink, here. And I didn't see the 'splodey stone thing happening, where is that?))

((The 'splodey stone occurred here: Devath Samuel continued his approach, slowing to a walk once he got within ten feet of the stone platform, he finished his chant, pointing at the platform. The base turned an emerald green. Samuel raised his sword and rushed at Sebastian. Venom3001 Sebastian grimaced and clenched his fists. Stone erupted from beneath the skin, spraying blood. As he set for Samuel's attack, the stone of the platform erupted, spraying green shrapnel into his side. He leaned against the wall as Josh jumped in to cover him. And thus, having something he was resting upon explode, Joe is likely quite injured... If that was the case, state it. How am I supposed to know that your force bullets vary in size? I refuse to assume information that has not been given to me even once. I've said this several times before. If do not say they are big, for ******** sake, they are not big! All information must be placed in the post, goddammit. If you guys refuse to change that stupid assumption of yours that I know everything about your character, and that I can understand everything you do, and that I can read your ******** minds, I will never, ever RP with any of you again.))

OK. I'M SORRY THAT I ASSUMED THAT. I've been RPing with people that have been around for the creation and development of the character for what, half a year? They all know that. It's kind of hard to change that for one ******** person that decides to just pop back up.

((Hardly. If you think that adding details when they are necessary is hard for you, you are the most hopeless RPer I have ever met. All I ask is for details and both of the long-standing players b***h on and on at me about asking for details. Get over it.

((As for "AFK" posts... What the hell? There is no such thing as a post you should not read. If you plan on jumping back into battle, read the backlog, stupid. And you're not getting hit, it already happened. If an unconscious Joe managed to do the Matrix when his bed exploded, I guess he would have avoided damage... But that seems highly improbable.
Honestly, if you wish to have something irretrievable happen, Sam is currently in a position to kill Joe, most possible blocks also being ineffective. In any case, for God's sake, wait for Venom to talk on the matter before giving me s**t on this one.))
((Also, Venom, I was more looking for a breakdown on the locations withing the Cyan dot. This helps, but not much.))

Jacob took a moment to catch his breath after reaching the 65th floor. After doing so, he immediately sought out some sort of power source, be it a generator or something magical.
He kept and eye out for danger as well as any obvious or not-so-obvious power sources.

((Sorry, unconscious, disabled, and not able to move all blur together in my head most of the time because effect-wise they mean the same ******** thing. Also note that in no official post has it ever been said that Joe is injured. I am simply inferring from his disability and from the fact that the platform was described as being shaped like so: _J_/ , that Joe might be injured by the fact that the very thing he was resting on exploded. The other thing is that injured people often fade in and out of consciousness. It's par for the course.
Also, one of those posts I quoted was not mine. It was VENOM'S. If you have something to b***h about with him letting me use a spell he gave me, go ahead and b***h at him, not me. And additionally, please don't take me seriously when I use other people as reference. I have zero online connections, so any and all examples I may make are hypothesis and BS.
In addition, please do not compare totally nonequivalent things. Locational ignorance is not equivalent to being unwilling to state the strength put behind an attack, or the purpose of said attack. It has been quite clear, since Joe was on the platform, he could obviously get damaged by the platform exploding. I know I make assumptions, however, these are related to either data left out, or parts of the real world that cannot be avoided. You may accuse me of hypocrisy, but flaming me endlessly gets you nowhere.
Again, listen to me this time and wait for Venom to speak up before you start flaming me again. It's kind of annoying that I don't have enough power for my arguments to even be listened to, but that's okay.
In any case, Marco still has to deal with the fact that he has a sword swinging for his shoulder, maybe even his stomach if his posture is wrong. This is not going to change, no matter what your argument. What is done is done.))

And what are you talking about, "it's not going to change, what's done is done"? You still haven't addressed Marco's attempt at stopping Sam, so apparently it is possible to completely overlook opponent's countermoves.

Uncertain of how his demonic defenses and weaponry would hold up to Annihilation, Marco swung his arm into the path of the sword, aiming to block, deflect, or at least slow the blade with his claws. At the same time, he turned his body at a sufficient angle to have him at least out of the way of the blade, and able to jump away from a possible backhand swing.
