Don't fret too much over your router, they can be spiteful and fickle.

I booted up my desktop the other day and it was like "Nope...I'm not gonna turn on, I'm just gonna beep 4 times repeatedly" Luckily I have a number of pocket geeks, and by holding my new netbook (with a webcam) over the opened case of my desktop my bf managed to explain which was the RAM and what I should do. Huzzah. On the first day of my classes as well as if I didn't have enough stress already >.< But it's fixed and initially we thought it was the motherboard which would cost like $800 to replace, so I'm ok with having fixed it myself for free even if it did stress me out a bit.
The router is just being dumb. My college has a bunch of weird requirements for setting up a router and my router doesn't seem to use the same terms as the ones the college uses in it's outline. Also if I mess up, I knock out the "wireless" that does exist in the dorm (my netbook can access it but it gets "no signal") so yup. Technology is a b***h. Pardon my not french.
Also some @$$hole decided that their car alarm could go off in the parking lot outside my room for more than 10 min. and it would be cool with everyone. *face palm*
Honestly though, my classes are looking good this year and now that my desktop is fixed I'm feeling a lot better.

I'm getting frustrated with all the others because they either have a ridiculous thing that should never been in bleach, or some kind of stupid rule that is completely unrealistic and pointless. (Limits on how often a CAPTAIN can use shunpo anyone?)
