Avaxis slows down as the group comes upon a gigantic crack splitting the ground between the group and the city.

"whats the matter? can't jump?" vice says, jumping up and landing on the other side of the crack "if you want, I could have Shiva make an ice bridge"

"hmmm.... i hate jumping as well as running... oh well..."
Avaxis takes a few steps back and makes a running jump across the chasm. He lands on the other side with a bit of a wobble but holds his footing.
Then, walking forward a few steps the group comes to a drop off. The wind howls through the large opening, the other side far off in the distance. Looking down, all is black with no sight of a bottom to it.
"Going to jump that?" Avaxis says tossing a rock down into the void below.
"Looks like something came out of the ground here... one of the Weapons perhaps?"

"no........this was caused by what I came here to research" Vice says, chuckling as he looks down at the black abyss "but........seeing as how this hole is too big for me to handle, I think I'll go around"

A man was standing in a tree above them looking down at them. he was wearing a black cloak and a hood was hiding his face. he took a comunicator out and talked into it saying. "They,re hear."

Avaxis, hearing the sound of the communicator being toggled, quickly turned and fired his pistol at the man in the tree. The man jumped away as the bullet hit the branch he had been on and turned it to ice, only to fall and shatter on the ground. Avaxis continued to aim his pistol at the man...
"Shouldn't sneak up on people bud..." Avaxis peered at the man, unflinching, pistol steady.

Avaxis looks at the hole in the ground trying to see the easiest way around.
