Mai-lin walked in and placed Himi on the bed, pulling a chair over. "She's fine. Just get a small twist in her ankle. She'll be fine in a doy or so. Which means you'ver got that long til our sparring match. That way we won't get any stronger then we already are. Give you a fair chance." She laughed slightly then looked over to Ran. "You ok, teme? You still look half dead. What did ya' do that made ya' like that?"

Ran smirked a bit at that and let out a small chuckle. "I'm fine. Just tired, is all. I used one of my own jutsus, but I havn't quite gotten the hang of it's chakra control, yet. That, and the jutsu I used before, I'd only seen once before, let alone used." She gave a slight shrug from where she lay, reaching a hand down to rub at Himi's ears gently.
"How are you guys doing? Besides for Himi's leg, I mean?" she asked, her gaze drifting away from Mai-lin, down to the dog she was currently petting. "I can't sleep, anyways, so you guys mine-as-well hang out for a bit."

Mai-lin shrugged and leaned back in the chair, somehow forgetting that she had the chair faced forward and so she fell off her chair. She looked up at Ran and started to laugh as she pulled herself up onto the chair. She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Sorry about that. Sure, we'll stay, if Himi wants to. Do you, girl?" Himi barked and Mai-lin tilted her to the side slightly and only for a second. "we'll stay." She said.
Himi barked again and Mai-lin sighed. "Umm...Ok, I'm being nagged at by Himi and a new friend so..." She bowed her head and stared at her feet. "I'm sorry about acting that way when we first met. I just ...well I don't really lke your village after my brother was killed and you're not the first Mist nin I've tried to chase out of the village. But you are the only one that hasn't left right away."

"It's fine..." Ran mearly said, giving a soft smile. "If it really bathered me, like it would have other people, I would have left..." She then murmered, letting out a small sigh and closing her eyes for a moment. "Truthfully, I don't like people from Kirigakure, either..."
Ran opened her eyes and looked over at Mai-lin. "The only thing that I love there is the landscape... the feel of the area. Here, it's a bit too hot and humid, for me. Since I don't have anything to return to back there, I guess that's why I didn't even bother going and talking to the Hokage..." She shrugged.

Ninchein woke up and remembered Ran was at the hospital, he got up and slowly walked out of her appartment and walked to the hospital, he walked up to the girl at the counter and said "Give me a bed next to Ran Kaguya" before he passed out and slumped to the floor

Mai-lin laughed slightly and shook her head. "Never been there, never want to go... I like how it is in Konoha. If this is bad you should go to Suna. I went there when I was younger with my dad and Li-wu. It was so hot and...I had a fever as soon as I came back because I had gotten use to the heat of Suna so I haven't been there since." She grinned. "Now I'm kinda glad I didn't run you off. You saved our asses out there." She waved to Himi. "And my dog likes you. That should mean you aren't too bad."

Ran gave a chuckle before coughing. "Yeah... it wasn't all that great, but i'm glad I could help... And, I like Himi, too. I've never really been around animals like this before, so it's something new..." She stroked ther dog's head with a smile. Somehow, her eyelids were becoming heavy, and she was finding it a bit easier to relax.
"I probably wouldn't do too well in Sunagakure, then..." Ran murmered.

Ninchein was carried in on a stretcher and put carefully in a bed next to Ran's, he smiled weakly at Ran "Hi Ran nice to see you" he said weakly

Ran glanced over at Ninchein. "Hey, Ninchein."She smiled a bit. "How are you doing? I thought you weren't gonna wind up in the hospitol, hmm?" She raised an eyebrow.

Tori and the two medics left Nincheins house and stopped outside. "Kuragari-san, we need to tend to your own injuries."
"Yes, I suppose so." She said with a sigh. "They're nothing serious though." after they were done patching her up, Tori started back towards the hospital. I should check and see how the other two are doing, then find Anekio.

Anekio sighed, the feeling of the chakra wasn't as strong. "She's leaving I guess...Maybe they got him, I'll go see if I can do something besides planning."She grined, running off to the busier point of town.

"eh I decided to since you were here" he said blushing slightly, Ninchein just stared in Ran's eyes, and then hit himself on the head, mumbling something about how it would never work

"Oh... really?" Ran asked, smirking. She seemed to have not noticed the blush, and went back to staring at the ceiling. "Funny... I'm actually getting sleepy, now..." She murmered to Mai-lin before giving off a small cough.

Ninchein smirked slightly ooooooh when she's asleep I can do many things to her he thought, Ninchein then hit himself on the head and whispered "I will not let my perverted side take over, I will not let my perverted side take over"

When Tori got back to the hospital, she stopped at the front desk to find where everyone was. She then headed down the hall to Ran's room and knocked on the door before going in. "Ran, how are you feeling?" She asked, then stopped and looked at the other two. "How are all of you doing? That was a rough battle for Genin."
