Shinji tried the sound effects, but nothing happened. Im starting to get frustrated... he thought He picture thousands of horrifying pictures in his head, so he can just pick one of them next time, instead of thinking one and wasting time.

Nodding at Tenmoki's words, Myobi squared off again. She wanted to make sure she had it right this time. When the clone aimed another punch, this time for her face, the girl slung her body to the side and brought her palm up to take the hit. But the clone was so damn fast. She couldn't quite manage it. The blow staggered her a bit. Shaking her head, Myobi stared mournfully at her opponent. Dammit...wouldn't she ever get it right?

Sora poped into the training grounds for a moment to see what was going on. Not too far away she could see Shoji and the kage. What were they practicing exactly? she watched them from a safe distance away, wondering what it was the two were doing.

Shinichi gasped in frustration as the mystical shuriken slipped from his mind's eye yet again! He bounded back to the original place faster than before as a result of diligent training at the Academy. Now, the odds were surely against him, but the possibility of success was not very low either. All he had to do was persist and one day his luck would run true. Shinichi narrowed his forest green eyes and dashed at the clones, keeping the shuriken in the corner of his eye. That had always been the more difficult part of this exercise, but it would be well worth it in the end.

He had to turn away in order to focus his effort on not getting hit by those bloody clones! Maybe if Shinichi allowed himself to be used as a punching bag for those clones, then he would be able to keep his eyes on the shuriken. Wait, that was a terrible idea! First of all, he would die in a real situation, which would make the efforts of learning this jutsu worthless and second, half of this exercise revolved around the balance between spotting the shuriken and dodging those blows. There was no choice then, but to continue training this way.

Good, good. That went fairly well. Now as to doing it four more times without messing up... well, that presented quite a problem. Just as uncertainty and doubt began to cloud his mind, Shinichi blinked that all away and walked back past the immobile clones to the starting position. For once in his life, all that junk about believing in yourself that the sensei taught at school began to make sense, but he knew he was still far from completely assenting to those practises. Shinichi frowned and rushed the clones, glancing up occasionally to confirm the existence of that shuriken.

That was one more success down. He tried to stay optimistic, telling himself that the others in his class who tried to learn this probably got hit a lot more than he did and this gave him a major advantage. Shinichi warmed up to the blazing sun, allowing his skin to soak in the fiery goodness. It had stopped raining quite a while ago so his performance must have been increasing since then. He rubbed the dirt from his eyes and looked proudly upon the shuriken. It'll be his by the end of this exercise. Shinichi ran back to try this again, with new hope.

He could have hardly wished for a better try. Shinichi zipped past the clones, dodging their blows by seemingly a metre at the very least. Giving a quick and final glance at the shuriken in the trees, he dashed back to the original spot, catching sight of another shinobi training hard before turning to focus on his exercise. A thought popped into his mind all of a sudden. Why did he purposely isolate himself from all the others anyway? Was there some sort of obvious difference between him and the rest of his class?

Damn you, distractions! Shinichi avoided the hits of the pathetic clones, but in the event, also failed to accomplish the purpose of this exercise, and missed spotting the shuriken. If only it were a different colour, yellow or white perhaps. But, in a true battle situation, it would probably be even more difficult to see! Shinichi retreated, his spirit down once more. No matter how hard he tried, there was always something blocking his way! He attempted to repeat the motions, silently wishing that this were over.

This time, he managed to transmit one of the images he had previously thought of to the Kage really fast. "Alright! Justa few more times!" he exclaimed and smiled at his success. It was harder than he thought, but he was doing ok.

She kept her eyes on the other's training for the longest time before she pulled out a piece of chalk from her pocket and walked up to the tree that was closest to her. She traced her body onto the bark off the tree and then stepped back to admire the work. She then walked up to it again and drew a few circles in very specific parts of the tree. One in the center of her forehead, in the wrists, the heart area and multiple other places.
She stepped back again and looked at the different spots on the tree's she would have to hit. 'alraight, so any of these spots will do... but I got to break the tree to make it really effective...' She thought over, trying to remember what was written in the scroll.

She closed her eyes as she ran through the scroll mentally for the last time before she looked at the circles she had made on the tree and ran forward, both her fists momentarily glowing blue. She quickly put her hands into their tiger like claw moment's before she hit the tree.

When she thrust her right hand forward to hit the tree the chakra around her hands dissapeared and her finger's hit the tree hard, sending a numb feeling through her entire arm as she grabbed her right hand and applied pressur eto it, bighting her bottom lip to stop herself from cursing. She gave herself a moment to relax and let the pain subside before she attempted to hit the tree again, this time, using her left hand to hit the heart area.

Her hand went right through the circle which represented the heart, it went in cleanly, not passing the outer limits of the circle. She pulled her hand out and her hand was bleeding, splinters had gotten into her hands and sending her hand through the tree had scratched it up rather badly. She paid no mind to this however as she took a few steps back and looked at another spot on the body in which she had circled. it was around the left lung. She closed her eyes for a moment to consentrate and then ran forward again, this time aiming to use her right hand to penetrate the circle.
