Before Astande goes off to discuss with Kerri, Eden quickly notifies him, "I wasn't trying to make it seem like I thought this was entirely your fault. I don't know what happened and therefore I am not authorized to be making accusations, but just hear me out: this tension, no this battle between you two must be ceased, that was all I was trying to get at before. And this time, I realize that it was Krii who started this and made physical conact with you." She paused as he patted her on the head, smiled timidly, and replied, "Thanks, I'm sure I get it from my brother." She chuckled alittle and decided to let Astande know what her next plan was.

She suddenly became completely stern and serious, "And I'm going to go get Krii's side of the story, that is, if he's not too pissed off at me for intervening." Eden then went off to talk with Krii.

Liora shrugged; apparently, her good intentions were somewhat misunderstood. Even though the true instigator of the previous scuffle was obvious, Liora did not particular wish to side with anyone if she could help it. This was not because she was fearful of conflict but because she was wise enough to see it would be foolish to become too involved.

"With all due respect, my comment was directed just as much at Krii'Ouse as it was you, Astande. I am by no means prosecuting you or robbing you of justice, but I am merely trying to soothe an unecessary conflict from a neutral standpoint. " Liora called after Astande's retreating back. "Therefore, I must scold both of you with a carefully measured amount of indifference. I've come to realize, however, that true neutrality would mean not interfering at all, but I cannot allow myself to allow the unecessary conflicts to continue."

Liora's gaze shifted back to Krii'Ouse before Eden could haul him aside to speak with him. She was careful to keep both her expression and her mind vacant; being a telepath as he was, Liora was not exactly keen on giving Krii'Ouse any unecessary insight into the methodical thought-process slowly simmering through her mind.

"Look, Krii'Ouse. I know you don't like him, but please don't provoke or allow him to provoke you any more. Like I said: this isn't a good time, nor does it cast a good reflection on either of you."

At last, Liora allowed a small smile to cross her face. She had a feeling that Astande was rather mifted with her, but Liora hoped that she could prevent Krii'Ouse from feeling the shame. If only she were of the character to not become so involved in such a conflict!

"I'm going to go see if Tyler needs any help. From what I conveniently overheard, it would be best to fix this problem before things get too out of hand."

With those final words, Liora dropped her cigarette to the ground and carefully extinguished it underfoot. She then briefly checked her ammunition before trotting off after Tyler. ((Exit))

Eden agreed with Liora and suddenly remembered why she had come here- to warn Krii and Will of Psycho, duh! Eden slightly shrieked and ran off after Liora and Tyler. Her axe was still strapped across her back from when she had retrieved it from the infirmary.

As Eden ran, she quickly shouted to Krii, "If you're up to it Krii, I'm sure Tyler and Liora might appreciate your assistance!" She didn't wait for him to answer as she ran off after them.

Krii stood in the secret room, and felt a disturbance in Haven. He opened the hatch, and slid down as fast as possible. 's**t... Psycho's around... b*****d of a problem we have now...'

"I just wanted to...plead with you to try and understand where Krii is coming from. I'm not saying that he is right, but for the sake of the other hunters, try and not be so confrontational." She had a serious air about her as she spoke to him, an undertone of slight urgency in her voice. Putting on a playful smile, she stuck her tongue out at him playfully, giving him a soft punch on the shoulder, "Besides...wouldnt want anything bad to happen to ya." She gave him a small wink, a gently smile on her lips so the tips of ehr fangs gleamed softly in the flashing lights of the club.

The time had passed. Ace, Ein, and Queenie had begun discussing whether or not one of the bouncers should separate the conflict in there. But, since they could hear the flames of the qualm coming to a dull roar, Ein decided to go in. As the door swung on its hinges and eventually came to a close, a few bar mice ran off to their hole. I noticed that...why...? Ein thought to himself with a quick shake of his head, sending his flaming hair ruffling about. His gear was re-equipped, and he could only hope he wouldn't draw attention to himself; he already saw a few of the commonfolk looking at him like he was someone attempting to rob the place. He walked by, ignoring but not completely disregarding the last bits of the confrontation. Tap, tap, tap went his knuckles on the door of the office. Not waiting for a response, he spoke to Will on the other side. "Hey, tussle's over. Krii'Ouse and Astande were at each other's throats, more or less. Mind if I come in?" He leaned against the door as he finished his pseudoreport. The thought of the lycan girl being in that same office crossed his mind. Well...can't kill her here...Have to be patient... He took a few breaths as he mulled over the contemplation.

Edith entered the bar once again. People had seen her enter so many times that they were starting to remember her and wonder if she was an addict- though she did not drink at all. She reached the office to find a tall male with bright orange hair waiting outside the office door.

She noticed that he seemed to be alittle distant, or perhaps something was troubling him. Either way, he seemed to be alittle disturbed. Eden decided to stubbornly wait outside the door, she wasn't going to move until Will hauled his a** out of there- however, she knew that if something happened, she'd be off in a blurr. Why did she feel like everyone was her reponsibility? She was only a minor hunter at the bottom of the roll of honour list... She hadn't even made a kill yet, but still she felt that she had some authority. Perhaps it was because of her brother, but something told her it wasn't that, she just felt responsible...

Eden went over to the wall beside the office door, leaned against it, and slunk down it until she was sitting on her a** with her legs spread out in front of her. She then brought her feet to her thighs and her knees under her chin as a rest and waited.

Bridget stayed at Hunter's Bar for a couple hours and finally Sanchez showed up. She asked for the surviellance equipment and payed her Tab.
They both worked thier way thru the crowd and out the door and into the night... "Well this turned into an interesting evening; better if we go home
for the nitght and come up with something that can kill a Demon or at the very least stun it before it can do anymore harm." Sanchez agreed with
Bridgets' assessment and tomorrow they would go looking for people,
objects, and weapons.

Bridget knew where they could get weapons and logistic information and she hated doing it. It would mean putting herself into the "Agency's" debt
and gods only knows what they would come up with to clean up her debt.
And what they would do to make her more less human than she already
felt. They continued to drive towards the Brownstone and hoped some sleep she would feel better.

Ein rapped his knuckles on the door harder, if not impatiently. "You two still alive in there? The fight's died down and Finn..." Just the mention of the name brought up the contempt he held for her. "...can come out safely." Just to make sure they were still in there, Ein altered his sight spectrum. Now he saw in the infrared, which literally allowed him to see through walls. His eyes glowed a burning red while he looked through the office.

Two heat readings. One that registered as human, giving off the normal red of the body heat with the orange, pulsing fleck at the heart area. Then another form, apparently cowering under Will's desk, that was the bright orange body heat of a lycan, with a bright, incandescent yellow where the heart was. Among the orange, it was almost hard to see. Then he caught something off to his left.

His gaze trained on the girl sitting next to the door, obviously waiting for Will, or perhaps for the lycan. Had she looked up, she would be able to see the striking red glow that masked his eyes. Not wanting to alert her, whether hunter or mortal, he quickly changed his sight back to the normal light, his eyes then going back to their normal cold, almost emotionless, steel blue color. "Oh, sorry about that. I didn't see you there before." He gave what you could probably call a bit of a half-assed apology.
PostPosted: Tue Mar 28, 2006 4:44 pm

Eden may have not been directly looking at Ein, but she caught the red glow of his eyes out of the corner of her own. She didn't say anything because it would attract regular mortals' attention, but she might have to address it to him in private. Suddenly he apologized to her, at first she was alittle dumbfonded, but when he gave his reason for the apology, she just smiled warmly. "It's okay, I didn't expect you to notice me, I hope I didn't frighten you by just suddenly appearing beside you." She chortled softly for a short moment and turned to fully look at him.

His most eye-catching feature were his cold dark blue eyes along with his red hair. What an amazing combination they made to draw anyone to look directly at his face. He was fairly tall as well, so that also added to his already noticeable appearance. Her amber eyes met with his cold blue ones, not in a stare or anything, just for a few moments. Noticing that she may be making him uncomfortable, Edith returned her chin atop her knees and quietly sighed in frustration.

Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out her vibrating cell phone. With all the messaging going on, it has been going crazy. Reading over a few of them, she looked up at Astande, "Sir, im sorry, but my presence is required in the training rooms..." She sighed slightly, giving him a very apologetic look as if to say she was sorry she couldnt go with him. "I understand if you want to go help Bridget, but if i dont make it there in time, you know where to find me." With that, she turned and shoved her way towards Haven.

As Eden sat there, she suddenly sensed a major disturbance in Haven. A demon was here, a powerful demon at that. She quickly jumped up, and darted off, offering no explanation to Ein for her sudden disappearance.

He smiles at her first comment, poking her in the shoulder.

"I know...And thank you...i promise i won't go after him...but if he comes at me again, please understand that i can't just sit there and "deal with it". Wherever he's coming from, i will not stand by and sit idle while he gives foul testament to the name of "The Fear"...I know that may not be exactly what you want, but if he truly pushes for a fight, he will get one. And he may not come out alive. Know though, that in that case, it will be him who has brought such a fate upon himself. I will do nothing until it comes to that. If he wishes to cooperate, i will do so gladly. Otherwise, things will have to be resolved one way or another.

To her second comment, he nods understandingly.

"Well, i have a score to settle with that Demon anyway. Don't worry, if i need you, i will call to you. See you."

He smiles and winks, walking off in the direction of the opposite side of haven, to head directly out into the streets.

Finn sat underneeth the desk, listening silently to the fight start up, escalate, then end peacefuly outside the doors with her hightend hearing. She felt The fear leave for the outside and then it hit her.
"why did I do that?... I should have faught for myself! Not run away!"
She told herself as she looked at the back of her gloved hand, that verry glove covered up a scar that Asdante had given her... she really should repay him someday for that. She made a note to ask Will if there was a place where she might be able to... spar with Asdante later.

She shook her head as she stood up from underneeth the desk and stare at the back wall. What a coward she was just then... oh well... too late now. That was when a knock came at the door, Finn recognised the voice. It was that hunter she had used a firework to blow up his face with! Finn couldnt beleve it! he was already up and about! these people must have an excelent medical plan, she decided. Finn laughed for a moment, probably looking a little insane or in the least a bit strange.
"long time no see!"
she said to the hunter, although it might appear as if she was talking to the wall to someone who just walked in.

Ein heard her respond from within the confines of the office. She was a cocky one, that was for sure. All he could give was strained sigh at her comment. "Will. You might want to escort her elsewhere, she's liable to be hurt." And then he added so no one, not even she, could hear: "Either by my hand or Astande's..."

All the innocent bystanders had cleared out during the skirmish, so they were all pretty much in the clear. But he still had to repress his urge to break the door down and put an arrow through her. Not only was the cease-fire still in effect, but Will was in the same room. Such an action wouldn't look good to the leader of the Hunters.

But Ein didn't take too kindly to having an M-80 shoved in his face.

He walked back to the bar and took a seat on one of the stools. "Some fight, eh newbie?" Hunter belly laughed at the question. "Throw me a soda, I have weapons to get." He put it bluntly. Hunter tossed him a pepsi with a grin on his face, shaking his head. "Go get 'em, newbie." He chuckled.

"I wish." Was all he muttered as he made his way to Haven's Armory.
