Sai pulled open the door with her arm and stopped it from closing with her foot. Helping Zee into a chair she hopped behind the counter again and grabbed a key for another empty room and handed it to Chiaku. "This room should be okay, but lemme get Cordy to help." Following the sound of the voices Sai rounded into the kitchen to find the two people she was looking for. "Cordy, Mrs. Morato is in the other room, injured again. She needs some help getting to her room so we can keep an eye on her wounds easier." Looking past Cordy was Kizzy. "Kizzy, mommy's back." The little girl rushed over to her.
"What toook you so long? Dere's pancakes dat need help!" Sai knelt down and hugged her little girl close.
"Mommy's very proud of you Kizzy. You listened and followed my instructions very well. I'm glad to see you're safe, and I hope you've been behaving.... You have, havn't you?" She peered into the little girl's eyes.
"A'course I've been having!" She nodded her head.
Standing up Sai looked at Carol and started to apologize, "I'm so sorry for running off like that on... you...." She stared at the little infant in her arms and blinked at it for a little bit. "Oh! You have a Fae! When did this all happen?" The maid went over and pet the little boy's hair gently. "So sweet, what's his name?"
Kizzy looked at the pan with the batter and then looked at her mother cooing over Kapono. She glared up her mother and tugged hard on her sleeve. "PANCAKES NEED YOU! NOW~! Find a spatulae!"
Sai took the little girl's hand and rubbed it. "Alright, alright sweetie. Let's see..." Thinking for a moment, she opened a drawer and pulled one out. "Ah ha. Here you go Miss!" Sai handed it off to Paine.

Lori glanced down at her water glass, her eyes going distant. "I don't remember where my real hometown is..I was raised by another family." She smiled, and looked away. "It was okay, though." Touching the chain around her throat, she went on to the next topic.
"I don't know why I ever got into gardening, it was a way to be by myself, I guess. Nobody else was ever really interested in gardening in my foster family, so they mostly left me alone. I didn't mind, the flowers were enough for me. It's not like they could run away" She laughed, snacking on a bit of bread.

At the mere mention of Zeejay being hurt he was out of the kitchen and leaping over the counter, "Zee?!" he said quickly as he landed and moved over to her and Chiaku.
"What happened? Where is she hurt? Where is the town doctor?" He shot out quickly as he kneeled down to look over Zeejay, "She looks bad." he muttered and without waiting for a response from Chiaku he gently slid his arms under Zeejay and lifted her up.
"Grab a key from behind the counter Lady Chiaku and follow me." He called back over his shoulder as he started towards the stairs.
Raeyvar glanced over his shoulder at the commotion and left Lori's side as he moved near the injured woman, "I have healing salves with me if that would help..." He trailed off as he is completely ignored by Cordain.
He then looked over at Chiaku, "Ah! Lady Chiaku...when you have a moment, Lady Lori and I need to speak with you concerning our arrivals and I have a letter from the Royal Academy of Science and Alchemy."

Lori stayed back, not quite sure what to do. She felt like a complete outsider, and figured it was probably best if she stayed back anyways. Grabbing her bags, she headed for the door, thinking to explore the town some more. It wasn't as if she could do anything about someone being wounded, all she knew how to do was plant flowers.

Zee was basically obvlisious to much that went about her, muttering a small 'thanks' to Sai as she sunk into the chair. She only snapped back to reality when Cordain lifted her up, she sighed, and then flickered a half-hearted smile. "Remember my old wounds..? Well, they got worse." she muttered in a short explanation.
Her eyes flickered to the fae around, thinking mournfully of her Seriva who was was currently somewhere in the town or... more horribley the forest. Though the guardswoman doubted her golden daughter would venture near the place any time soon... Not after what had happened last night. Though the event seemed to have been forgotten, or was trying to, by most of the townfolk who had been there.
Zeejay drifted a bit, her head lolling to the side gently. Her strong stamina was completely drained,a rare occurence.

Carol smiled down "Just recently.." She answered truethfully "His names, Kapono...Kapono Nawali, think ill give him a middle name later" She said and sighed happily and started swaying her hips back from side to side, rocking the toddler in her arms. It was now, now that they were almost finished with the pancakes, did she relize how truely hungry she was.
She brought one hand up and placed it on the wood Fae's back and rubbed it slightly. She hadnt had much time to think of current events; but it was all so interesting, and wonderful. "Kizzy was there" She spoke her thoughts aloud to sai.
Just last night the children had run into the forest and now a new day she was given a pine cone, a soon to be fae. The instant she had recieved it, it had turned into the little boy that was now in her arms.
"You hungry Kapono?" Carol asked, and was answered by a slight stir from the boy, which signaled he was awake. He turned his head adn looked at Carol with his deep green eyes, which provoked a smile from the seamstress. She hugged the boy tight to her and looked on as Sai gave Paine the object that was needed. She hadnt been with the boy for more then a day, and already she had fallen in love with him. With her 'son'. She couldnt help but wonder if he would grow to love her as much as Kizzy loved her mom.
"Paine" She spoke in a soothing voice. "I'll take one for now, me and Kapono will share" She stated firmly, since he was a small boy, he wouldnt need a full pancake to himself. "But make sure Kizzy and Sai get theres first, I think someones hungry" She spoke and gave a wink to the fire fae before sitting down with Kapono in her lap and watched Paine finish.

Linnea had stopped far before she reached the inn. Standing before the large building, she was filled with uncertainty and fear. She really didn't want to go back in there, not with all the people she'd seen inside, and the others who had probably filed in after that. It was loud in there, and crowded. She couldn't go back in, she just couldn't.
She hesitated for another moment before running off in the other direction, back towards her home. Even if the teahouse was crowded, there was one place she knew that would be hers alone.
It had been quite some time since Linnea and Momo had left, and since then DS had, for the most part, sunk into a mindless stupor. Others had come into the crowding tavern, but she payed them no mind. Still, as time went on she became more and more concerned. They, or at least Linnea, should have been back by that time.
Worry overtook her, and she rose from her seat, hurrying towards the exit. In her haste she bumped into a young woman she hadn't met before, and blushed. "Excuse me miss, I'm sorry."

After Cordain took charge of the injured Zeejay, Chiaku obediently went behind the counter, finding that there were many, many keys. She took a random one, read its label, and told the innkeeper, "Room 14? Is that fine?"
However, she was interrupted by the voice of a strange in the inn. Turning her attention briefly to the man, she commented politely, "We have a bit of a medical emergency at the moment. It should only take a few minutes for me to make certain everything is settled, and then I will respond to your inquiry."
Chiaku then stepped behind Cordain, waiting for him to decide if it was appropriate to move Zeejay to the room for which she had a key.

Petting the back of Kizzy's hair Sai looked up at Carol. "What do you mean, 'Kizzy was there'? She was there when he was born?"
"Uh huh." The little girl nodded at her mom and went off to the bag of powdered sugar again. Prodding the bag it sagged over to the side. She pushed it further and it poured out onto the counter. With her small hands she flattened the pile out and started making little swirls in it.
Sai pulled Kizzy's hands up. "Sweetie, that goes on the pancakes, not on your hands." Kizzy looked up at her mother and stuck her hands in her mouth and started to lick it off. "Well...that certainly cuts out the middle man." Taking her daughter over to the sink Sai helped her properly to wash her hands.

Lienna had been busily writing about the births she had experienced and chewed on her pencil casually. Her green eyes were curiously watching the scenery and it seemed to her that she was some kind of shadow for the others.
It had never been different and she was quite confident to sit at the table and stare at nothing. She heard the different conversations and the fun about baking and the doctor just wondered if she should leave or join in.
The next second would make it...one..two...decision ?

Carol smiled and watched as Sai and kizzy went over to the sink and then turned her attention to the bag in front of her. She knew she should start working but...she wasnt in the mood to. She would after the pancakes. She would then have paine to help her with some designs.
Her stomache growled slightly before she stood andw alked towards sai. "Miss Sai...I was wondering..." she started and looked at the ground, Kapono's eyes staring at Sai. "Are there other people then Ms. Chiaku I should see? I dont know much about this village, and if, as you said, it doesnt have a Seamstress I would REALLY like to stay. And...well with him" her eyes moved over to the boy "It wouldnt be wise to keep moving from village to village"

Sai handed Kizzy a towel to dry her hands with and then went over to clean up the powdered sugar mess. "Well, I think Mayor Chiaku would be the best person to see about such things. And I'd think it' be wonderful if you decided to stay with us." She smiled and scooped the sugar off the counter and into a trash can.
Kizzy put the towel on her head and stared at Carol. "Ya not gonna take Kapono away. He lives here!"

Carol looked down at the girl and smiled. "No? Im not? He lives here huh?" the teenager couldnt help but smile. "Ok, If you say he lives here, then he does, and you can show him around town when hes older, right?" she asked giving the young girl a wink.
Kapono looked around the room, he was actually still awake, and Carol was pleased he was. She wouldnt have to wake him for dinner...if you could call it that.
"Right then. I'll see lady chiaku the moment i can"

"She should still be here in the Inn, but she may have had things to do. I'm not quite sure." Sai opened up a cubboard and pulled down some plates for the pancakes and set them next to Paine. Next was the silverware.
"He can follow me around." Kizzy pulled down on the towel and "RIP!" it tore on the thorns on her head. She looked at the now shredded towel a bit and tossed it far away hoping her mother hadn't seen.

Carol stared wide eyed at Kizzy in shock. "Woah" She murmered silently to herself and looked back at Sai quickly trying not to make a scene of the towel insident. "Ok, Perhaps after dinner" She spoke nodding. "And thank you Kizzy" She looked back and smiled. She then turned her interest back to sai. "So...Is like pancakes her favorite thing to eat? Heh, she answered really quickly to what I should feed Kapono, with Pancakes. Thats how we started making this mes- I mean meal"
