"I'm not that young," he replied rather deffensively. He crossed his arms over his chest, his head bowing in slightly as a pout formed on his lips. "I'm sixteen and perfectly capable of acting as an adult..." But he couldn't help that he looked like a child. Often times, people thought he was twelve... people who were suspicious of what a young and impresionable boy might be up to with an old and obviously malignant male ((Ger)).
With that, he poured Leif a glass of cranberry juice and handed it to him before screwing the top back onto the bottle and placing it in the fridge. "Right, then," he said, grabbing his plate, fork, napkin and drink. "Follow me."
He led the other back into the room they had sat in before - he prefured it in here as apposed to eating at the kitchen counter (they didn't really have a dining room or anything fancy like that).

Leif didn't care for anything fancy, he was used to curling up in his bed or on the moldy old couch and eating leftovers that hadn't been refridgerated. And Shadi was to be followed because he had the food. He'd be placid at least until his energy was restored again.
"Sixteen is no time to be an adult. Do you even have hair on your balls yet kid?"

Shadi scowled. "In case you've forgotten, puberty happens when you're thirteen - usually sooner..." he muttured under his breath. Leif certainly was... blunt. SHadi caught himself thinking that Eden had been, at the very least, a bit more pleasant.
He settled down on the couch and set his plate on his lap ((they each have their own plate... duh? x3 )) and took a sip of juice before beginning to eat. From the way the apartment was sparklingly clean, one would guess that either there was a house keeper or the inhabitants were neat freaks. Or... one of them was. Shadi was always exceedingly neat with everything he did - including eating.

Kaya walked lightly through the snow on the ground. "I haven't felt his alive for a while. Probably since I left the orphanage." he laughed as he seemed to start dancing slightly through the cold air and still falling snow.

Leif coiled back up in his chair and dug into the food with his hands. They were cleaner than normal, after all that food washing. Aside from that he never really knew what the purpose of cutting up meat was. After all that's what your teeth are for.

Shadi frowned and wrinkled his nose in mingled irritation and disgust. "Oi... you... you have to use a fork and knife. Otherwise you get stuff all over your hands...." he said, demenstrating with his own fork and knife. "See? It's much neater...."

"It takes too much time, I'm hungry." Leif was more efficeint than he looked with his hands. There was only a faint bit of grease on the very tips of his fingers. He'd had practice. His plate was almost empty, save a few grains of rice that he was just about to go for.

Either Shiyaa or myself should be able to do it....Hopefully Shiyaa can, so I don't have to expose my talents before they're needed.... he said, his body temperature raising slightly to adjust to the temperature of the outside air. His temperature was now great enough to melt snow and/or ice within six inches of his body. "So.....How many mages do you guys know?" Kuno asked.

"Well. not counting you Shiyaa, or you Kuno, or myself obviously...um I know two others. another Aeromancer and a...umm, honestly I'm not sure yet. He hasn't told me what his magic is yet." he wasn't going to tell anyone that Paul was a mage or that his 'boyfriend' was one as well yet. He might be desperate but he wasn't stupid. He continued to sway in the air slightly as he walked toward the hospital. he hadn't realized it yet but he was leaving small icicles sticking up from the ground with every step.

" I don't know of any, actually...." Shiyaa said, shrugging, " Other than Kaya, anyway...and you said you grew up in an orphanage?" He looked at Kaya as he pulled his scarf up a bit, to cover more of his face. Kiyo stayed quietly at Shiyaa's side, listening to them in hopes of learning more about mages.

"Yeah I did. Me and my half brother. oh, wait. I was wrong. I three mages cuz he's one too." he said as he took a handful of snow from the ground and began packing it carefully."Our parents died when we really little. I can't even remember them without my only picture." he took out his wallet and showed Shiyaa the picture of his step mom and his dad. The corner's of the photo were singed and three of them were now rounded off while the flat edges looked pretty badly burned and the whole photo much darker than it should have been."The orphanage said they found this picture in my hands when I turned up on their doorstep. They said I kept crying fire and wouldn't let go of this picture for a week after they took me in."

Leif grunted, he had been about to set the plate down on the floor like any self respecting bum would. His hand teetered a bit, and he stood, looking like he was struggling heartlily with himself as he wobbled into the kitchen. The plate was washed and dried, and respectably put away. "Be nice to your host, Leif." Eden's low voice mumbled. "I really didn't expect you to be such a cave man around people who are putting you up, I mean really." "Shut the f**k up! Get out of my head you crazy son of a b***h!" Leif spat out through gritted teeth, clenching his head tightly and letting out an animalistic snarl. He hated this newfound awareness of his own 'guest'. The green eyed man was disinclined to share his room, let alone his own head. And look, now he was doing both. "F***ing hell." He cursed, croutching down and leaning back against the refridgerator.

It took Shadi much longer to finish his own food, even though he had given the other the larger share - after all, Leif was older, larger and hungrier than the small Bibliomancer. Once finished, he took his dishes up and dried and put them away, an expression of mild surprise on his features as he saw that the other had done the same with his own dishes. He had thought, from the way Leif had eaten, that he would have just left them there. Perhaps there was still hope for the Geomancer.
"Hey... you want nay more? There's still some rice and stuff left... If you're not gonna eat it, I'm going to put it in the fridge...."
((This has to be one of the most boring posts EVAR.))
