((Yumi doesn't move as perfectly as Chaos does, but she does move in a very special way. She all the time balances on only one foot, leaving strange tracks... also she usually always tries finding the hardest possible material to stand on (usually rock), so in the forrest she most probably didn't leave any traces. But finding rocks on a field is a lot harder *hint hint*))
Yumi just continued following Chaos. The soft ground on the field made it impossible for Yumi not to leave a few traces behind her, knowing this she became restless and started moving faster than before. Her eyes were now wide open and darted from side to side.

Chaos moved with her and felt a presence behind them. Yet...it didn't feel right. Even if it felt like something she would do...it didn't feel right. She felt like the person he had sent back to keep her away for a while. More material like his other for....Wait... He turned his head to look behind him for a while as they ran. Two presences suddenly. One not like Lotus. So she was trying to use his own trick against him. He sighed and looked at Yumi.
He already knew this was unavoidable. But if they could at least get to the ocean and off she couldn't follow them. There was only one boat at that port, and she wasn't running as fast as they were. Sakura and Yumi's movements were much more trained in speed and had many more years behind them. His eyes looked to Yumi as he spoke. "No reason to be careful now. We have to get to the boat and off this island in less than 30 minutes. She'll be able to catch up by that time. Are you up for it?" He asked, he could see the ocean 5-7 miles ahead, still it would take a while to get there, and she had to be ready...ready for anything.

The copy moved so much faster than the original. She had to to be since she was going the longer way and she needed to head the targets off at the pass. If she failed she knew that the original would not let some huge body of water to keep her from them. Since she was just a copy, she didn't understand the original's passion for catching up with these people...she figured that one of the targets was a man. She sighed and put on an extra spurt of speed, she could see the ocean now and she smirked.
Lotus was starting to get even more upset, A body of water isn't going to stop me Chaos, I don't care how big...she thought to herself, gritting her teeth. She suddenly shifted her aura again, her hair turning snowy white, here eyes red amber.

((Just for reference Blue...if it's a copy/doppleganger, and I'm assuming that Blue learned the trick from Chaos and she 'altered' it a bit. You need to realize that it is impossible for a copy to move faster than the original, unless the original wasn't moving at full speed. Basic dynamics. Besides, what Chaos did before was a trick of the light and movment instead of a fully capable doppleganger. Just to let you know ^^;;;;; And even if the copy is moving faster, she doesn't know where Sakura and Yumi will be going. They could be moving away from the ocean by now. I'll cut the time she can get there by half since she moves 'faster' but if that's the case I may not allow complete realism of the copy. Besides, from what I've seen Lotus isn't adept in ninjitsu ^^;;;;; and you haven't responded to Kashi. Just some things. Granted I have more but this is already too much space taken up xd So erm yeah, Yumi's post! ^^))

((FIrst of all, the aura thing is one of her things as well, she's a master of disguise, second, she's also master copy cat. Third, Lotus did give her copy instructions and she's been working on this copy so much that she's a little more complicated than if she made another one.))
Akira looked up at Kashi(?) and only smiled wide, saying nothing as usual, disclosing nothing...as usual. She sniffed at the sake and stuck her tongue out and wandered around, making mischeif.

"You really force me to run a lot Chaos... so tiring." She sighed and smiled. Then she put both her feet down on the ground and kicked off. The force Yumi kicked off was enormous, the ground beneath her shivered and the grass around her was destroyed. Yumi didn't seem to care about the rather attention attracting way to increase her speed, since now she moved faster than Chaos had ever seen her move before. She looked like a torpedo, a hurricane moving towards the coastline. Her long black hair created a black trail behind her and her green eyes seemed nearly surreal. Touching Yumi when she moved with this speed would be fatal, she easily sliced leaves and grass that was in her way, even treetrunks were damaged if she moved too close to them. With this speed it didn't take long for Yumi to get to the boat.
((Oki, just mod her a little if you need to Chaos 3nodding Wee finally I could do something a bit more surreal with her...))

((I have trouble believeing that a person can achieve so much in 5 years to outdo two people each having trained in the same areas, but very intensively, and continuously for over 20. Just my opinion though I guess ^^ Also if she was a master of disguise why did she just start using that trick? Anywho))
Kashi chuckled and finished the sake off before rising to watch the littler one. Such an odd child. "Come on Akira...we need to find a place to stay for tonight." He turns walking toward the door, if Akira followed that was her choice. He moved from the room like a wraith on a mission, yet it was simply natural for him...almost too natural
Chaos purposefully didn't speed up like Yumi did, and finally reached the coastline after her. He moved her into the boat quickly and pushed off leaping into it as he used a paddle to push off with. He could see the copy of Lotus. She looked so much like her, but that didn't matter. He shook his head. Even him or Yumi couldn't make this jump now. It was too far, and she would just land into the water. He sighed heavily. She would have to travel well over 30 miles to find the next port, and then she'd have to pay for the boat. He shook his head as he paddled forth into the ocean.
Now was their time to travel. If Lotus followed she wouldn't last long on the island. She wouldn't be welcome there after all. No one leading her, or showing her the way. She had been lucky to find it last time, this time...she wouldn't be so lucky if she went. Then again she couldn't know where he was headed too. There were plenty of islands out in the ocean the direction they were heading. And she wouldn't be able to keep her eyes on them forever...

((I can't believe I'm agreeing with you, Mou, but I am...*sigh* I'm thinking so much my head is hurting, you're making my head hurt, Chaos! *throws a hammer at you* scream ))
Lotus...well, the non Lotus swore profusely and found a tree, she looked off in the distance and saw the hurricane and did a couple more seconds of swearing. She growled, "Oh well." She took off again, by air, she needed to stay away from that hurricane and she needed to keep control of wings in the winds that were picking up. She moved above the clouds, she had caught a glimpse of them a small dot on the water. She also had spotted her copy, standing on the coastline, still as statue, watching, her head tilted, face emotionless. She then started moving again, along the coast, she knew she was heading to another port. Above the clouds, it was much more calm. she ducked down a few times, keeping track of her quarry, not leaving the clouds so they wouldn't see. She shifted her aura once again and was begginnign to believe she was doing it out of habit.
((She never used it around Choas, that's all.))

((Remember Blue, Lotus is only 18 years old, Sakura is 20, and Yumi is 29. Both Sakura and Yumi have had more experience and time. Sakura mastered his masters' technique and Yumi nearly mastered hers. Lotus' father was killed and had no one to learn from for a good 5 years or so if I remember right. Unless she was training herself in ways that were completely and nearly impossible, she couldn't learn such tricks as 'doppleganging' and such. And on top of that none of those such techniques were included in your profile. You can't master a technique in 5 years remember. Also, copies and dopplegangers aren't real. They were tricks of the light, and of movement. Not real entities. If you noticed when Chaos had used them the copies were close together or many of them spread out. Light and movement changes a lot of things. Anyways that's my spilling of thoughts and such.))
Sakura looked up at the sky and could sense her. She was so foolish. If that was his trick then she didn't have a clue how to use it. She kept changing and altering and adjusting herself. She made it so obvious where she was. He could nearly sense when she came out of the clouds to keep track of them. He began to count the moments as he neared a cave. Once he felt her get farther away up into the clouds he sharply turned into the cove and disappeared from the water.
She wouldn't be able to find them now from that high up. The cove was too small for her to be able to see. He sat in there waiting. He felt her presence and would wait for it. Even if she tried to disappear she couldn't any longer. He had a track on her movements. Nothing supernatural as her flying or her physical copy, but simple knowledge and technique. He had learned these things through his training. He sighed softly and would continue to keep his patience. This was interesting to say in the least, very interesting in fact. The biggest difficultly he could see is that he wouldn't kill her, although she wished to do so to him. Such an odd child.

((What you wouldn't agree with me otherwise xd blaugh Oh how I feel loved xp
And Chaos... once again, she DID finish her training... she got an apprentice remember... sweatdrop But she never finished training (or never even started actually) her apprentice))
In the boat Yumi clearly didn't look quite alright. It took a long time for her eyes to return to normal. Also the speed wasn't exactly safe for her either, small cuts covered her, they weren't big or really dangerous, but still irritating. Once again Yumi sighed loudly.
"You think she'll continue following us?" She didn't look at Chaos, apparently she didn't like him seeing her eyes in the current state, since she seemed to all the time cover them somehow.

((she doesn't want to kill him))
Lotus suddenly felt empty. She stopped her progress and lowerd until she was under the clouds and then lowered some more, she didn't see them. The emptyness swallowed her and she closed her wings and dropped, falling , falling falling, Crash! She had made an effort to keep herself from being stunned but she did not make an effort to swim. She stay under the surface, floating, not caring anymore, too tired to care anymore. She only wanted to see him one more time, just once but now she didn't care what happened to her not even when her lungs started to ache. For a second she was terrifyed of dying this way, who would continue the Masamune line if it wasn't here? She made a few strokes but then stopped. Who cared what happened, if the secrets of her family died along with her. She would have sighed but only stared up as surface becmae further and further from her. She didnt' realize she had dropped near the cove her former quarry had disappeared in.
Akira, of course followed him, appeared nearly under him as if by magic. She always walked really close to him, sometimes going under the tails of his coat. She had had enough practice that she didnt' interfere with his walking pattern. She always knew when he was about to do something drastick like run or jump because his muscles tightened suddenly and she only had mere seconds to move. She had practice this as well.

((Wouldn't you be paranoid of someone who is chasing you with a passion and 5 years earlier told you that they were going to kill you?))
Sakura felt her fall and cursed. He stroked the boat from the cove and dove out into the water without taking his gear off. He disappeared nearly without a splash into the water. His right hand gripped Lotus' clothes and he pulled her up. He then tossed her into the boat before rowing it back into the cove. His muscles were aching by now. Nonstop work, and strenous activity was overwhelming for any person.
His breath was heavy as he set her on the little beach/port in the cove. It was one of Sakura's places to think. He had a small one person boat if he had to swim there at times. He built a fire and looked down at Lotus. He shook his head before scrawling out in the sand for her to see when she woke. She hadn't drowned, luckily, only passed out, to which her mouth and nose closed.
He slowly got back into the boat and began to row. His muslces bulging, pleading with him to stop this working and pain. He refused them this right though, needing to get away. Lotus' device of wings was at the bottom of the ocean by now. Sakura had to take it off to get her to the top. He had removed her cloak and extraneous clothing, leaving on only the bare necessities. She would be cold and needed little between her and that fire. Her clothes were off to the side drying off. It was nice and warm in the cave so she'd get a nice rest at least.
He sighed as he rowed from the cave. He would take a very very long rest when they got to the island, he promised himself this. He moved away from the cove and hiding place. He pushed with the oars toward that island of men. Those who knew more about the sword and sword making than any other. He left Lotus with those sand words. Those words that said, To die is to never know, to live is to have hope. Lose not hope and know everything. If not you shall be in eternal loss.
Kashi strode from the sake place toward an inn. One suitable for him especially. His dark eyes scanning slowly, here, there, everywhere. Then he spotted a nice place and smirked. "Ah...a nice place it seems we've found." He entered not caring for where he stepped. Akira had learned very quickly after the first couple kicks that if she got in the way of his feet, she wouldn't be for long.
Though he had saved her, that didn't mean he treated her better than her family. He treated her as if she was a dog. Something following him that has potential. Though underneath that he saw so much more. Potential to be more than a dog. To be one of his Leader assasains. Yes...that may one day happen. Who knows though. It could be sooner than they thought. She would learn though. She was already picking up things he would show her. He didn't know how old she was. He hadn't asked after all.
It hadn't seemed important at the time. He yawned a bit as he tossed some pieces to the tender. "Give me a room." He didn't try to hide his sword, in the inn, nor in the street. The man tossed Kashi a room key and he took it, striding up the stairs with the girl very close to him. He didn't mind, if she got kicked she got kicked. It was a learning experience for her he supposed...

She woke slowly, swimming to the surface of conciousness until she opened her eyes. She coughed a little, rolling on her side, slowly, with groan. She paused, trying to catch her breath. She wondered why she wasn't dead, why she was alive in a...cave? She looked around and stood up too fast. She stumbled and sat down and then saw the words. She read them over about five times, then looked out to sea...b*****d! she yelled at him in mind speech. She wasn't concentrating really so she wasn't sure if she heard him. She was further irritated by the hot salt water streaming from her eyes; she'd missed him again. She looked aroudn her and noticed he wings were missing. She swore softly to herself, her throat was a bit raw--she'd have to make another one. She felt in her pack and saw that her other weapon was still intact. She set it out to dry.

The day slowly began to rise from the east and shone brightly. Sakura watched it as they rode the small waves slowly into shore. He smiled as he rested there simply looking at the sun. He was enjoying a simple pleasure. He finally finished rowing them into the shore. He rose from the boat after docking it and picked up Yumi into his arms.
He looked at her sleeping form slwrly. She had fallen asleep sometime as the waves rocked the boat through the night. He sighed and smiled as he entered the forest. Within an hour he was in the village. There were a few women, obviously they hadn't stayed in the village. A few children were there having escaped. He sighed softly and bowed to those there. They looked at the woman in his arms with a great silence. He looks down at her and then up at them.
They smiled and walked forward taking the woman from him and taking her to a bed. Some of the village men walk to him and begin conversing with him about his recent travels. He spoke to them for a bit and then bowed his head. They all turned to walk and finally it happened. Everything began growing black and Sakura's eyes widened going white. He collapsed to the ground with a thud. The men turned and looked at him in shock. One of the most powerful men in the world was...was mortal...
They took him to a house and laid him down to rest. He needed it obviously. They would take care of him for the next 3 days. He wouldn't wake up, but would turn and continue sleeping for all three days. Dreams running through his mind all the time. The village leaders walking in and out taking care of him as well as some of the women. He breathed slowlyand evenly as he laid in silence. His grey eyes closed to the darkness and silence that was sleep.

Five, six, seven... at the righthand side, up above, down... no there was something clearly wrong with the whole situation. Finally the men melted into one, a demon? Green green eyes, diamonds in the pitchblack, a sword? Moving forwards something grasped her from behind, making it impossible to move.
Yumi woke up with a scream. It took several minutes for her to calm down. Only then she started looking around and wondering where she was. Alone in the room she noticed her swords in one corner and a small bowl with water in standing on a small table besides them. Crawling over to the bowl she also saw a clean new kimono. Yumi filled her hands with cold water and washed her face. After changing into the kimono she slided open the door. It was clearly still early in the morning, since the beautiful garden in front of her was still covered by mist. While attaching the swords to her back she walked into the garden. Where am I? What happened? Everything around her looked unfamiliar, the huge house behind her, the smaller buildings around her, even the whole tiny village. While sitting there on the cold rooftop Yumi slowly started remembering what had happened before she had fallen in sleep. This has to be the island... Chaos?
After a few hours the mist had lifted and Yumi could see the whole beauty of the village. The women one after another started opening doors and windows and slowly a faint smell of food being prepared reach Yumi up on the rooftop. Making her way back to the house she had woke up in, she found many surprised and clearly upset women gathered in her room. Without saying anything Yumi bowed and the women bowed back while looking rather confused.
"So anyone feel like explaining what I'm doing here and where the man who took me here is? And also, I'd love to taste a little bit of that marvelously smelling fish you're cooking, I'm quite hungry." She finished her sentence with a big smile. Yumi's happy face broke the ice and the women happily and rather loudly escorted her to the kitchen.
After eating a big and delicious breakfast Yumi headed towards the house she had heard Chaos was sleeping in. While she was eating the women had managed to tell her everything about how she got there, where she was, Yumi was even forced to listening to a LOT of gossip. Feeling rather satisfied and energetic she knocked on the door.
